It looks like it is going to be fun event. Off peak times may present some problems red side here.
Edit:
PS. Ocho Hax!
Nivene and Horatio were there too! Thanks for coming out! -
Feedback:
For the play test that I was on tonight, in my opinion, the present rate needs to be raised. With the small amount of villains present in Cap, I spent quite a while looking, I can only imagine that this will be worse during peak live times.
The timer on entering the winter lord realm is a little long, but I guess that is to allow no travel power lowbies to cross a zone if needed. I got quite a workout doing push-ups
Low pop servers are going to have a bit of trouble in the winter Lords realm during non peak times.
I liked it! -
Let's see:
Garcia Vega(Nrg/Rad Corr) is the Brother to Vega Prime(Nrg/Fire Blaster) and Vega Omega(Invuln/EM Tank). Garcia (Kren) Has been hiding here on earth, with the help of his Valet General Jacks(Bots/Traps MM), and The General's creation Tekno(Ice/Kin Corr)
Vega Darkstar(Dark/WP Scrap), and Vega Epsilon(Rad/Dark Def) are Bounty Hunters sent to retrieve the Vega Brothers.
Kevin and Morton Lokhart are 12 year old twins. They were hiding in the sewers of the Rogue Isles during a Rikti attack when a shimmering object fell from above. They picked it up, fought over it and tore it in half. Each became imbued with a strange form of energy that allowed them to summon weapons from hammer space, and manipulate their size. They have adopted the monickers of KaBonk (WM/Shield Brute) and Morrlok (Axe/Shield Brute)respectively.
Flame Sickle(Fire/Cold Corr) and Hella Cold(Ice/Fire Dom) are cousins that happened to have been born on the same day, so they grew up like brothers.
Millie Amp(Elec/Kin Corr) is the younger sister of Terror Watt (Elec/Elec Brute). -

Just installed my Video Card, after patch going to see if the game is stable again. If so, I'll be there next week.

That would make things around interesting on those free activation weekends.

It's my card. I swapped the 8500 in and no problem. Calling Dell since I have a 3 year warranty.
Thanks for the tips on a replacement. -
Quote:This, I cannot wrap my head around. If they flipped a switch today that merged the market, how would anyone know who they are selling to? It's blind.
The merging of the markets only works if no one really knows they are merged because why would heroes knowingly sell items to their enemies and potential enemies and the same goes for villains -
Quote:Just checkingYes, I'm sure it's the card and to each his own. But some of the negatives are just out of place.
Quote:Well, thats a case issue and an issue with Dell XPS, I have the same computer and I can't shut the case cause it starts overheat causing the case fans to spin out of control, It also sounds like a vacuum cleaner or a small jet. The card is just too big and there's not enough air flow even with 2 extra fans. So this issue is consistent with my video card too an GeForce 7950 GX2. DX10/11, Windows 7 and Vista are the only 2 who support DX10/11, unless you are running 7 or Vista and want the extra hot sauce for your games, you should probably be looking for a better card

I respect your opinion Vega and when I get the card in the next few weeks I will let you all know if it worth it or not.
Thanks for the tip -
Quote:I was looking into getting a new Vid Card as well, I spoke with a buddy of mine, he and his wife both play Aion (if that matters to you). He suggested the GTX260 CORE 216 not to be confused with the CORE 192. You'd have to read up on some reviews to know the exact issue between the 2 cores.
Here's the part #: 896-P3-1255-AR
New Egg Review
He also mentioned that for the GTX260 price compared to the GTX275 and up you get very similar quality and performance for a few bucks less. If you are price conscious the GTX260 would be the better deal.
Those reviews don't look too promising

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 yearThis user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: great card, runs everything i throw at it flawlessly on max settings
Cons: the fan is covered entirely by the heat sink shroud in my XPS 420, but is still cooler than my old 8600gts.
Other Thoughts: dx11 cards are already out =(Quote:Beware!

Pros: When it works, it runs fine.
Cons: Problem is it never works. My first card squealed like a pig in heat, thus I RMA'd it. Add shipping costs. The new card worked for a few weeks, then died just the other day. Add more shipping costs. Two cards in less than a year that turn out bad. I will never buy EVGA again.
Other Thoughts: Just don't buy it.Quote:Took a dump after about a month

Pros: Fast Shipping
Cons: When I first purchased this card, it worked ok. Occasionally the screen would go blank while playing Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Today, after almost a month of having the card, the card took a dump. It displayed matrices and garbage on the screen.
Other Thoughts: I would enjoy it more if it would not have stopped working. -
You and your team kicked a 60 yard field goal with this one. I like the animations and emotes more than the costume pieces. For me, that's a lot!
Nice Job! -
I thought it was just mine. I've never had a problem until now, and it's driving me absolutely crazy.
I thought it was a driver issue, so I updated the driver. It didn't work. I then brought a new Hard drive home, installed XP and updates, Video and sound drivers and game. Same thing. Oddly, the 8500 in my older machine is fine. -
Problem: There are people who do not like certain buffs. AoE buffs would cause the forums to explode.

Quote:In my opinion, had that very fist option been enabled, some of the foolishness that was going on would not have. That was my biggest beef with it, the anonymity given to trolls and stalkers. People do some of the silliest things when they think no one is watching.Heres the solution.

Again, I'm available for hire... just putting it out there.
I've just sent a direct message to Nivienne with these suggestions in it, hopefully they will listen -
Quote:There are a couple of anti-global posts in the thread that are equally short if not moreso, was the "that is all" posting condescending?
Hmmm, the "that is all" would have been me quoting Luminara saying...
Quote:My experiences lead me to disagree.
Should I have elaborated with a long rant? No, because I normally do not have problems with getting names. Case in point, I made a plant/stone Dominator. Poof Algae Acres was born (Algae is a plant also a feminine name, Acres, well that's land)
Made a Fire/SR brute and wanted to make him a demon, couldn't think of a decent name, so I made him a Dragon, and POW Longwei (Chinese name meaning "dragon greatness.") came into being. Coming up with names is not hard. Seriously all it takes is some imagination

I find leveling now slower than ever with SSK. You can't set up +4 missions for lowbies without extra effort. I used to be able to take some -3's with me for the phat XP's on the default setting. Now they get +1 XP unless I make changes. No more mixed SF/TF's with four high level and four unsidekicked lowbies, that is gone too. So I guess I do not think that leveling is too fast now. -

Yay for walk (when the servers are stable again)!
Now death to the no nads weapon run please.
I'll send you a set of hubcaps -

I normally run my lowbies between 6 and 9 eastern. Unfortunately, my video card has taken a dump and I cannot play on my main rig. My backup while decent is just not fun to play on these days, so I have been using it for nightly SF runs only. I should be back in full swing in about a week or so, look me up.
