To those of us who have done this event many times and earned all the Halloween salvage we need and badges... This is a pretty major disappointment.
I don't see myself getting much out of this event at all.
And I've been on Freedom for over an hour now, no Zombie Invasions thus far. -

As far as I know (I'm not about to delete my only 50 as he's still my main hero) but the account unlock of the EAT doesn't require you to keep at least one level 50 character. All getting to 50 does is unlock the AT in the character creation screens and is not required to be around to keep the new ATs unlocked. Think of it like making a recipe for a costume piece, you don't need to keep the recipe to have access ot the costume piece, it just sets a hidden flag on your char (or account in the case of the EATs) that says you can access the content. Keeping the item (the level 50 in the case of EATs) is not required to keep that flag.

This is incorrect. It has been tested and shown that deleting your only level 50 will RElock the epic ATs.

hmm well that sucks and I suspect is a bug. Nowhere in the knowledge base or info about the EATs does it say that that is behavior. I could see many an upset player unlocking their EAT and deciding to reroll the same character as one of the EATs so deleting their 50 to start his 'new career' just to find out they can't get the EAT anymore and now no longer have the level 50.

Several people have tested this with Kheldians and show quite the opposite to be true. Once you unlock it, it stays unlocked. Since when has this changed? -

Do you seriously not see how a farmer could start a TF set at a minimum of 8 members, and then run the mission ad nauseum as a farm? The "fillers" don't even need to be there. All the farmer needs is one other (an alt account) to stay in the TF.

As I've stated numerous times in this thread...
Farmers spawn maps set for sizes of 6 to avoid bosses. This change would force them to fight bosses. Thats added danger plus it slows them down. This cuts into the influence / hour ratio & thus will be avoided.
Besides at lvl 50 your choices for TFs are Shard or STF. The Shard puts you against Nem, CoT & Rularu.... 3 villian groups that a farmer would want to stay far away from. Or you could try the STF which puts you against Arachnos, which isnt any better.

I think you need to hang out in PI on Freedom a bit more. You'd be surprised at what you'd learn. Like how farmers have no issues running farms spawned for 8, with just a wee bit of help. And I have seen people that dual-box and farm. -

The States TF has always had a minimum start number of 8. If your team of 6 was going to have problems with regular mobs spawning for 8. Then I submit that you were going to have real problems agianst the AVs in there.
I have been on this TF when we were done in an 1-2 hours.
So this just proves that at that particular time not many people on Victory were interested in running the States TF.

That's not what that was regarding. I've had similar problems with other TFs on small pop servers. It's very hard to find people. The fact that you can no longer get people to fill in those last few slots on Manticore or Shard TFs and then just drop doesn't help at all.
As said multiple times in this thread... there should have been some fundamental changes to TFs before this was put in place. -

There is no benefit to this change. It's not going to hurt farmers. It might add a whopping few minutes to any quickie TF runners' times.
This is just yet another change that has little to no effect on the people it's supposedly intended for. All they're going to do is let us rant and discuss this until we burn out and give up. It'll end up staying because they have determined it should happen, regardless of what datamining and the players will eventually say. Anything that goes against "the vision" will not be rescinded (see ED, GDF, 'troller nerfs, and on and on). And apparently people not being able to maintain the full TF team size is against "the vision".
I'm just thankful I do have good SGs to run with, so in the grand scheme of things, this won't hurt me too much. I do feel very bad for the people who don't. -

This is not a change to put in place until you do some MASSIVE adjustments to existing TFs. Horrid horrid horrid. You just slammed the nail in the coffin of most pug TFs. -

Then that's something you may want to /petition about.
I am assuming, of course, that you're the only one who knows your account information, and this isn't a case of a little sibling logging in and deleting characters. -
I've petitioned the same global account three times in the last three days on three different servers, three different characters. How do I know this? The little message pops up that I'm already ignoring such and such global. From what I'm hearing in-game, I'm not the only one to have this same thing happen. Whatever is being done isn't being done fast enough.
Bad enough to be pestered by the farmers and PLers... I don't need this added annoyance forcing me to play on /hide when I don't want to.
Here's a nice thought for the Devs... look into changing the way global ignore works. It would be so much more effective if you ignore someone's global account, and it ignores all their characters without clogging up your normal /ignore list. Or else, remove/increase the limits. I can tell you right now, if this continues, the limits currently in place will NOT be sufficient to ignore all these accounts and characters. -
