  1. looks nice!!One thing though with only 3 single target attacks and without a decent amount of recharge you might have large gaps in your chain. I only have those three attacks on my sm/shield with similar amounts of recharge and I'm not exactly plowing through a mob unless I get sb or the like.
  2. Ok here is my second attempt at the build it does say its capped (to all but negative )
    however I'm not sure how much def you lose when your not cloaked. Hasten is perma (just) and energy drain is 3 secs off being perma. You could of course take the fourth hasten slot and put a ff proc in tremor instead. Or if your interested in safety you could Mu lightning and replace it with fault and put in either stupefy or absolute amazement. You wanted expensive of course and if you afford gladiator proc that would further free up the build.

  11. Yeah I wondered why the defense wasn't showing in mids properly using the enzyme, maneuvers is a good idea as well. Now I'll have to see if it is durable enough without tough.

I decided to embark on a project of soft capping my shield toon ( and having decent recharge) without weave and tough because stone melee being the end sucking beast it is the less toggles the better!!! Anyway if anyone have more advice, options or ideas to help improve the build it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    id aim for getting IO set bonuses that gives you typed defense the aim being to get close to soft capping. I aimed at ~40% smashing/lethal, 35 % energy/negative and 30% for fire/cold. Reactive armor, Aegis and kinetic combat are all good sets for this. Mix this in with end recovery bonuses and perhaps some recharge(to get your attacks and dull pain up faster) and your gold.

    Just remember it will be a bit harder to soft cap on a brute then a tanker
