I decided to embark on a project of soft capping my shield toon ( and having decent recharge) without weave and tough because stone melee being the end sucking beast it is the less toggles the better!!! Anyway if anyone have more advice, options or ideas to help improve the build it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Could switch your sets in True Grit and Health. Put the Miracle's and Regen Tissue in Health and the Numina set in True Grit. It gives you about 50 more hit points. It looks like you are at the cap with CJ or Hover on. I would remove the two slots from hover and throw them in hasten. You can also remove a slot from taunt and throw it on Tremor with a Force Feedback: Chance for +Recharge. I use one on my SM Brute and it fires nearly every time I'm in the middle of a good mob.

I was looking at your build and couldn't understand why Deflection and Battle Agility were so under-enhanced with HOs in them. I think you goofed there and you really want Cytoskeleton Exposures instead of the Enzymes. Mids shows a slight increase with Enzymes over Cytos but I gotta believe this is in error. Enzymes enhance def debuff and not def buff. Of course if someone has already slotted these, then they could tell definitively either way. Otherwise, copy the toon over to Test, slot them and see what happens.

Edit: As for Stealth at lvl 50, why not go for Manuevers instead? It gives a slightly larger defense buff that is the same all the time unlike Stealth whose defense buff gets halved when you are combat. Pick up a stealth IO for sprint.

Yeah I wondered why the defense wasn't showing in mids properly using the enzyme, maneuvers is a good idea as well. Now I'll have to see if it is durable enough without tough.
