  1. at this point the only thing i'm thinking I will do is turn my all my characters that use Pink pom poms of doom to a blue, have all my villians that use electricity of some kind to the matching color of the heroes electric blast. and my dark/regen scrapper will have his regen effect turned black or dark grey, which ever looks better.

    most of my other characters have had their costumes coloroed to match the color of the effect of their powers

    I was refering to the fact that this year my birthday falls on the same day as fathers day. but I think you may have missed that.

  7. like most everyone else here said, Damage enhancements don't add your global damage buff like fury does, so that added damage never goes to waist.

    bottom line,

  11. Rethinking what I posted earlier, a 3rd option they could go with. Make the effects not stack from the same caster. which would more or less force the user to only use one at a time. effectivly doubling the durration.

    but I agree Spirit, there are probably a few billion things they could do with CP to change the powers effects while keeping it similar to how it is now.

    personaly I wouldn't mind seeing some end drain resistance added into the set somewhere. I suppose CP would be a good a place as any to add that.
  12. Personaly I see the devs have 2 ways to address the double Conserve Power issue with EA being ported to Tanks or Scrappers.

    1. Modify the power to function different that how Conserve Power works now (Global end reduction)
    2. Making it so that if either the EA version or the APP Version is selected the other is not available. Similar how frag and toxic granades from the wolf and crab branches can't both be selectec.

    personaly I see them going the later first.
  13. When castle annouced they were making some changes to EA he said that they have several changes they could make. and that they would be making minor changes first and after that if they felt EA still needs help, after data mining, they will make more changes.

    Do I think EA still needs help? not really, but it wouldn't hurt.

    and really if they Prof EA off to Scrappers or Tankers and they make significant changes to the set there will be a large outcry from players that allready have high level EA Brutes about how unfair it is, and yada yada. I'd expect the set to go to scrappers first by the way

    you know I was thinking that it may be possible to get some mouth movements by taking say Face 1, photoshoping some different expressions on it, the using Leandro's splasher program to put them as different faces in game then using Constant Costume changes in a demo edit.

    but i've yet to try it

    only 3 of the 30 or so toons that i play on a regular basis have IOs. let alone enough to get set bonuses. and only 1 of those have all the IOs that I want on them.

    I would say that a majority of the population play with out IOs of any kind. and of those that do have IOs only 1 maybe 2 of their toons have IOs with sets.

    back ontopic of EA

    I made a 2nd build on my 50 EM/EA that I was going to slot with just SO's before I relized that all his money is tied up with Bids on the Live servers. So I went and played some Maltas with out any slotting of any kind.

    lets just say that i had to pause alot cause I had no end after each spawn. good news is I didn't face plant >.>

    When I get a chance I'll be slotting ED with 2 end 2 heal 2 recharge and see how he does after that.

    Vallin Thompson Known to Paragon City as the Owner of V-Tronix and the Inventor of the V-Tron series of Battle Mechs. Even though Vallin has taken the name V-Tron as a nick name he maintains publicly that himself and V-Tron are not one in the same. Even though the only time V-Tron and Vallen were both seen together was when Vallen annouced that V-Tronix had reopened and introduced the V-Tron series with the debue of V-Tron.

    V-Tron: Classified as a medium weight mech by V-Tronix weighs about 460lbs and can generate large amounts of electricity and is equiped with Special high energy gauntlets.

    Vallin "V-Tron" Thompson: An Ex-Longbow Agent registered with G.I.F.T as a mutant with an ability to generate large amouts of electricity and has a great talent for inventing complex mechanical and electrical devices.
  21. well thanks to RL and our sucky economy I was finnaly able to get my account back on and give the changes to EA a little whirl.

    So basicly The heal in ED isn't all that great with just 1 critter near you. even with 2 heal SOs in it. I think that if they are seriouse about putting a heal component in ED it should give a higher amout for the first and less for everyone after like so many other powers of the like.

    also i hate that the visuall effect now makes you look like a giant orange ball for a second. I really prefered the blue effect that is on live now.

    the added toxic damage in the passive seems to be all right, I was within about 10 HP of defeating a spines scrapper in PvP in RV where before he would have just about 3 shotted me. (though some of the PvP specific changes may have had something to do with it)

    I need to rework my build a bit to get a more accuate check, just haven't had the time

    When it was announced that i13 would be going to test in closed Beta. Like any good CoH addict I logged on to see if I was in it. Email or not. Since I'm not all I could do was look at what was listed on the "Show Real Numbers" screens for Energy Aura Energy Drain power to see what the base heal will be at 50.

    And I said.

    Emphisis on the heal numbers. Thats about 20% of a brutes HP at 50. Making one think that either castle forgot a 0 in his original post or someone put a decimal in the wrong spot.

    then after making my regular guess at if there was a new patch to the test server. Not being in beta i wouldn't know unless i tried to log into the test server I decided to check what the new number, if any, the heal in Energy Drain is.

    and it is about 50HP per target now. So from this point of view a decimal was misplaced when i13 first went to test.
