It occurs to me that we need a Ballerina tutu costume piece. With this, perhaps a new level of sick fun could be achieved...

I'm waiting to see how many Spines are going to be running around with pink and purple quills shooting all over the place

I'm glad that I can finally make Ura into the Spines/Regen Scrapper that he was supposed to be with green quills and a toned down green Regen set.
And maybe this will entice me to play my Grav controller more since I hated that dang yellow singularity. Who ever heard of an event horizon being yellow anyway? *walks off grumbling about stupid default power colors...
Where's my I16??? And get off my lawn you whippersnappers! -

That means villains have already had access to hero bases and the teleporters denied them entry to Paragon. There should not be an issue with this at all! It sounds like it's just a bit in the code that would need to be changed to allow members to be from either faction. This is really good news.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually there have been quite a number of villains to make it into Paragon City over the years. None have gotten to stay for any length of time and the holes that allowed them access have all been patched, but they have roamed the streets just the same. -
Liz does such great work. I need to break out the piggy bank and have her do a sketch.

That's a bit of an understatement...
Kids runs have always been fun for me and I never fail to learn a new playing technique. -
I ran an LRSF this weekend and we had no issues at all. Valkyrie was a bit long winded as usual, but other than that they all went down smooth.

Freaking ridiculous that you have to have a license to dress up in a costume in public.

The caveat is that when you get into the higher levels, your pregression can slow a lot if you haven't learned to use the mitigating secondary effects of your attacks effectively. If you continue to approach every spawn "guns a-blazing", you will faceplant often in the upper levels.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wait. You are saying that there are ways to play that don't involve rushing in and aggroing everything?
BLASPHEMY!!! -
I would give the OP some whitespace and punctiation, but the post is already too full of win.
+5 for cool name. -
What has been said so far is right on. With the variety of buff/debuff classes that are available, toons that strictly heal are not needed for 99% of the encounters.
For the most part Veteran players tend to go with more of a mix of buff/debuff and forgo the true healing classes to a great deal. The group I run with has absolutely no set mix for any of the late game content that we run. Last night we ran a villain task force with nothing to hold aggro. We controlled it all with a dominator and a couple of corruptors.
To sum it all up, to do any almost any encounter with a good group, you don't need a specific mix. Knowing your powersets strength's and weakness's will get you through.
Play what you think you'll enjoy. If you don't like it, roll another. You have 132+ slots to fill up. Don't be shy, roll another alt. -
It's been going on so long that it is pretty much a running joke. Like Kid said, no one pays any attention to the rating any more. Perhaps the new boards will make it a bit harder to stay hidden.

Victory seems to have a fairly decent redside population. Or at least there are always folks on when I am on.
-
The Atlanta folks have been asking this very same question for the past 5 years.
The reason they won't come is that Dragon*Con is on Labor Day weekend. They get a three day weekend and they are not about to give it up.
I had hopes this year that they would have HeroCon on the East coast, but again it's a matter of logistics. They do the West Coast events because they are "Next Door". To do anything East Coast they have to fly. Flying is money and money has to be justified.
So to sum it up, us East coasters might as well just shut up about it and be happy. The likelihood of getting NCSoft to show up on the East Coast for anything is nil. -

I'd like to see a max xp cap on AE. That is to say, you can only get 125k to 1 million xp from it. That would place you at levels 20 to 30 if you started in AE. After that your character caps out and cannot earn any more xp from AE.
This would fix the AE baby problem and stop total powerleveling in AE completely. You have to go out and actually find full missions and learn to play your character. -
This is the one game that might make me buy a Wii. I used ot love the arcade version.

<ul type="square">[*]Addressed several bugs that were causing stability issues.[/list]

Ghost Falcon.
ANY word at all about the client stability bug that causes the client to crash after playing for a while? This happens most often when zoning, but can also happen when needing to load new graphics (including UI elements for the auction house listings as well as SG settings screens). It's also a hazard when editing a base for an extended period of time, probably due to the multiple refreshes that happen while editing.
Bare minimum, it "feels" like some sort of memory leak, and has a nasty habit of disconnecting (through crashing) players, not just myself, at extremely inopportune moments.
So ... any word on THAT stability issue(s)?
[/ QUOTE ]
When you crash out, and if you get a crash log dialogue, the most helpful thing you can do for us is to click the "send" button so that we can see the crash log.
If you don't get a crash log, please file a support ticket and list down your system specs and as much information about what you were doing at the time (i.e. spent X hours on the Base editing screen, or X time on the MA editing screen, etc.).
If you're seeing crashes when loading UI elements, please note down how long you've been online and which UI menu triggered the crash. (And again, it's important to include your system specs, graphic card, and graphic card driver info).

Currently the most irritating crash is the one that happens on the last mission of a Task Force. On any given Task Force there is about a 90% chance of crashing to the desktop.
