I'm sure that the devs will make a pre-emptive strike by altering the color palate used for the water blast set.

I did start my own league to complete the Magisterium trial after the farm run, which I queued into not knowing that it was a farm run, but had 5 people bail as soon as part 1 was completed. My problem was having farmers jumping on an broadcasted full run of the Magisterium trial and bailing after part 1.
  4. A little clip of some scenes from the Avengers starring the cast from MLP.

Alternatively they could make the Hybrid unlock require the trial completion badge, have the XP sit at 99% until it's done etc...though I personally hate this idea.

These sound like good ideas. Right now I'm up for anything that reduces the advanced psychic xp farming. Agree that having the bulk of advanced psychic xp being earned during part 1 of the Magisterium trial is probably not the best idea out there. Maybe have the total advanced psychic xp that could be earned rewarded after completing the trial. Maybe a system check that sees if players are just only doing part 1 of the Magisterium trial and kicks in a diminishing return on advanced psychic xp which resets every time a player completes the trial.
  6. So with the launch of I23 comes the new Incarnate trial, Magisterium. Wanted to give it a try, first attempt went like this. Use the LFG tool to join Magisterium Incarnate Trial, get to first part (defeate 250 IDF), and as soon as this completes just about everyone quits. Really confused by this and decide to head to Dark Astoria and see Broadcast being spammed with Mag Farm Runs.

So wanting to really give it a try, and actually finish it I broadcast that I was doing Magisterium Incarnate Trial but let everyone know that it wasn't a farm run. Get a League together, finish first part, and about 5 people quit. Really annoyed by this, press on, couldn't get it going, try second time and this time success.

So is this what my experience with the Magisterium Incarnate Trial going to be like for the first week or so? Having to worry that people might bail as soon as they get their advanced psychic xp? Do the devs consider this an issue, should they even consider this an issue?

    Lantern Draft

Here's a few that I have of random lantern drafts

Always fun to see which character from what different universe would get what lantern ring. The only one that I get irked by is the Hulk. Majority of people feel that the Hulk should always get the Red Lantern ring, and to this I say no. Mostly because I feel he doesn't really fit the requirement. When the Red Lanterns were introduced Atrocitus stated that the rage required to earn a Red Lantern ring, is the rage someone feels when they are powerless to stop an injustice inflicted on them. The Hulk is not powerless when someone makes the foolish mistake of inflicting an injustice on him. For me the Hulk would be a welcome member to the Sinestro Corps. A chunk of the Marvel universe fears and avoids the Hulk. You had the Illumanti send the Hulk off into deep space, Dr. Strange banished him into another dimension, and the Hulk even managed to scare a demon out of his mind when it saw the monster that was locked up in Banner's mind. Everything that was done to get rid of the Hulk was done out of fear.
  9. According to this the Mandarin is confirmed to be the villain in Iron Man 3. Also the Iron Patriot armor will be in it.
  10. Better than the phone that tied in with Dark Knight.

Mind you, I've enjoyed every other Burton/Depp movie I've seen. I can only speculate that Burton and Depp have entered a bubble where a third person point of view is incapable of entering and informing with constructive criticism. The Echo Chamber of Doom has been constructed. I fear that my $18 for an IMAX experience has only cemented the seams of that inwardly mirrored ball rather than shattered it.

    Woe. Woe is I.
For some odd reason I couldn't help but read this with a Johnny Depp voice. Sorry to hear that the movie didn't turn out so well.

From what I've heard this is the new Earth-2 Alan Scott. He's a young adult, not like the older pre-flashpoint JSA version. So I'm guessing both Jade and Obsidian are out of the equation.
  13. BleedingCool is going out and saying that Alan Scott will be the gay character re-introduced into the new DCU.
  14. Yes it was, makes me wonder if they could do with the script from Episode 1.
  15. D'oh! The force was weak in my search-fu
  16. Came across this. Various pros in the voice acting reading the script from Star Wars: A New Hope
  17. Here's a teaser for a Stephanie Brown Batgirl webfilm
  18. From the article it looks like Paramount will offer up Seth MacFarlane's Ted as the sacrificial lamb to the summer movie gods
  19. Here's a new TV spot for Dark Knight Rises.

    -Edit-

Here's another TV spot with Catwoman featured in it.
  20. Hollywood pulled this stupidity with the Wrath of the Titans remake. However I don't recall it taking 9 months to do the 3D conversion. Unless Paramount plans to add in some new scenes to the mix.

Agree that they probably doing this to protect their investments. Dark Shadows and Battleship couldn't knock Avengers off the number one spot. Likely contenders would be Spider-Man and Dark Knight Rises.

New York State, seeing as how it's legal for gay and lesbian couples to wed there and it was mentioned in the Rolling Stone article.
  22. And Marvel joins in by announcing the gay wedding of Northstar and his partner in an upcoming issue of astonishing x-men.

  23. Bleeding Cool posted some info. Apparently the character will be male and the story is supposed to be out by June. As some already stated, I really feel that this is just poor ham-fisted story telling and nothing more then a cash grab on shock value. I doubt it's going to be a big name character. I'm guessing either a 2nd or 3rd stringer hero or a supporting character.
