I'll add that most stuff that has come with bases reminds me of all the crap I hate about other MMOs that have neat items, but you have to spend ungodly amounts of time in-game to use them. That is NOT casual gaming, and I think I remember people saying that CoH was aimed at the casual gamer.... guess its switching momentium.

Yup,

so for small SGs... now you must choose... go for the buff, or save up to expand the base...

At least it doesn't cost prestige each time you create a buff! (or am I wrong... )

When I read the article, to me, it sounded like the empowerment stations were to be used in base... like as for base raids...

I'm pretty sure this isn't right since there was a big show that it would be for smaller groups (which I know my small hero group is no where near thinking about getting a raid teleporter, nor being able to afford one), so that it would be for powering up, then dashing off to a difficult mission or something.

I was under the impression this would make temporary powers, but now it doesn't sound like that.

Alas, we need to wait for it to hit test to even get a clue...

That politely asking people to treat you in a nice and pleasant way is usually countered with interruptions and annoyances from other players?

There is a no-call list for telemarketers, but there is no way to block blind invites... until that day, they will be annoyances that players will have to deal with.

Fan Fania! Another great friend of mine. Was there with me on my frist Respec TF, when I took my first character to 50, and my first Hammy Raid.

Its just nice to have someone who can be there with you for special events.

We don't get to see each other much anymore... but has always been a good friend. Even when I think there was drinking going on and hard to understand tells. I still see from time to time, and will always be willing to join up with and play Coh or Cov!
