E: Put me down as an alt, TBA. I'll be packing for my honeymoon that night, but you never know. I may want one last fling with tights before I fly to Iceland.

Hrm. The whole AE rage was a year ago, basically when you started on the forums (end of May 2009). The rage is pretty much quieted down (yeah, it was pretty ridiculous here and most other servers). Game's not dying, but it's definitely quieter than the insanity from one year ago. Why take my word on it though? Get back into the game and see for yourself.

Heya E:
Gonna run this with my tank (SD/EN), but I'm currently fussing over a rename for him, so can you put down CAPTAIN ??? for now? -
Nice contest. I'll be submitting for this. Thanks, PERC.

Quote:I had that happen on our first successful run a few weeks ago. Let me tell you, NOT fun when you have about a thousand Rikti kissing your heels and you suddenly go OH SNAP.Best Moment: When the 1 hour timer ran out and Arli had a heart attack because of CHALLENGE FAILED
(EDIT: And, grats to the 4-man team.Just wondering tho... can't you "fake" this pic by kicking off the other four people, then taking the pic? Not an accusation, but I'm tempted to post "Master LGTF SOLO with a defender" and see whose head detonates in the Badges forum...)

Here's my current roster as of June 2010. Went from 5 50's to 11. I had (and still have) about 20 toons in the 40s, so I just decided last year, "Okay, let's get this one up.. then this one.. then this one..." Fun times.

T-minus 7 days before I head to Reykjavik. Guessing there's no one from Iceland that reads the boards? Or do they all just play EVE over there?

Heeheehee. 36 deaths. OMG, it was awesome. XD
-
Wow. I'd love to, but something that long on a work evening's a no-go for me.
GL to your crew though!

The paid services I'm referring to are the ones that are privately organized via their website. You know, "1-50 in two days, $99" and all that. The same groups also farm for crafting resources and what-not.
-
Speaking for everyone else who's not having this problem, I'll say, "No, sorry. GL tho."
I got nothin' for ya. You might wanna start posting those fancy COHelper logs or stuff like that to get the party started tho. -
Awesome that it worked out for you, I was dubious you'd have enough for a Monday morning for an east coast server.
I'll look for you next week if I can hide COH behind a spreadsheet!

Tony's was awesome, yeah.
I am ashamed to admit
I cannot compare. -
Quote:A hundred times, this. That dastardly tank couldn't die; ended up in our favor on the 2nd run to get past some high-ambush sticking points. Someone get that meathead the "Immortal" badge. What they forgot to mention is how cool Paragon was as well. Being a super tank like you are Mr. E, he soloed some of the missions, mostly the ones involving destroying or clicking portals. It made the run faster and safer. And he did equally as awesome on the final battle. And I learned a new trick on that battle. (Thanks Paragon ^_^)

I wouldn't mind seeing a cape translucency slider. I also wouldn't mind seeing a fadable cape effect, like a cape that flickers away into smoke and emberrs. Current selections really don't offer anything like that.

For the record, I was being serious about the Virtue comment. A couple of people I know in the paid venues said they decided to migrated a big chunk of their operations about 2-4 months ago there for more cash opportunity (Freedom doesn't need them as much anymore, supposedly, so they go where the cash is).

Fairy Morna, Controller
Pie Bandit, Controller
Radiant Auura, Defender
Pyrewulf, Scrapper
Our first wave was unsuccessful, after a few deaths on mish 5 where you click on the power sources. Those summon ambushes, dontchaknow. The 2nd run flew by quickly, netting us the "Master" badge at 51:17! My hat's off to everyone on-team, and deepest sympathies to E-Man for being unwell that night.

Quote:1. I'd modify the suggestion to say that, instead of using email, to have it as a payment option from the Supergroup management screen. The new email system doesn't really incorporate the ability to credit Prestige, which is a supergroup metric, not player-based.Would it be a good idea to use the email system to pay base rent ? I was wondering this while running mishes in Nerva last night . Currently we pay base rent in Port Oakes of course , but it would be nice to not have to go all the way back there to do this , don'tcha think ? Just wondering , it's not a huge deal just kinda tedious .
A small but niggling issue here would be that, "in theme", you should be going to the SG Registrar to issue payment. Based on that, and wanting to keep the themed feel of the intent in line with QoL needs, I'll add:
2. Remote payment incurs a small prestige processing fee, say 50 prestige or whatever we'd argue is "fair", for every remote payment. You can bypass this payment by issuing it directly at the Registrar.
How does that sound?
