Quote:Here's a quick list:That said, I've always just ground BAF. I'm leveling up new toons because I'm sick of it. Keys is better than BAF at giving the Astral merits?
Quote:KEYES
1 astral per reactor (3)
1 for each Master badge requirement met (4)
Total: 3 +4 = 7 in theory, plus the end emp/astral.
Typical run nets 4 drops (3 reactors, plus the ending merit).
BAF
1 for not disabling the guard towers (badge requirement)
1 for NS defeat
1 for no escapees (badge requirement)
1 for Siege defeat
1 for killing Siege/NS near their spawn spots
1 for killing all mob reinforcements before NS/Siege drop
1 for Master badge requirements all in one shot
7 possible Astrals, plus the end emp/astral.
As people get more familiar with Keyes, then the badge drops might balance it out. Right now, BAF takes the lead cuz people just automatically DON'T disable the towers and focus on the escapees, these days. That can come to Keyes too. -
You guys were missed.
There'll be another one, or if I'm around, just ping me and if I'm not busy, I'll give a personal walkthru.
For anyone who attended: Think this would be easier if it was done with voice comms? Or is it easier to digest the info in text? -
*points to Tulpe* Get these people in the mix. They're top shelf material. Hell, @Medic's my freakin' Keyes lucky charm.
-
We just finished, LSK. But I'll do another for anyone who missed this one, or has questions. Don't sweat it, I'll get you done.
Thanks for joining, everyone. Now go kill the myth of the impossible Keyes!

Corrections noted. This may be an interesting evening for scheduling... my window contractor is running late, hope he's not at my house past 10pm...
-
You know I'm...
...Supreme Soviet (bots/traps MM) for the first run, and hero TBA for the 2nd. -
Sounds like you guys had a good run.
I love this idea, btw. Think you can do a reschedule sometime soon for around 10pm EDT to accommodate workaholics like me? XD
-
Consider me a "soft" assist for this, but sure, I'll lend muscle/guidance where requested.
There might be other evenings where there's a schedule conflict, but my global's @Turgenev - dial me up if I'm around and free.
-
Vel, I've added your channel to the master list. Thanks for hosting this channel!
-
Cleaned up the list to reflect new names, possible and confirmed drops. If you see a TBA or a question mark on your entry, it's cuz I want the toon name and a confirmed global from you. :P I ain't a mind reader. Make the list building easy for me, people!
See you all tonight! I'll prolly login right at the stroke of 1030pm, so if I'm not there at 10pm and you're panicking... well, go hug someone and get a grip. Ask Luna. It'll be a lucky thing if I don't get stuck with dishes tonight.
EDIT: Oh, and it wouldn't be a Horde run if I didn't give the obligatory E-Man/Luna...
◄◄This is Tonight!►► -
Adding it now, Vel. Thanks for the heads up.
BTW, Shadowy: I'll check the status on those globals and update the original post. There is "sorta" a way to cull names automatically, but AFAIK it doesn't work right. I'll have to look into it. -
-
Everyone's added to the list. So far we have about 26 bodies attending. Now I feel pressure. XD
See you tomorrow night! -
Yeah, you prolly coulda handled that a bit better. XD I don't get his comment about not finding a team on Freedom, sorta; since Incarnates came out, a LOT of players have narrowed down their alting to just their 50s for the Incarnate work, so there's a bit of a dearth there for true public teams. Arranged teams are still no problem in general, but if the player isn't connected to the right globals or SG communities, they'll have a harder time.
IMO, putting a relative newbie into a speed ITF is lethal. That TF is really geared towards players are are comfortable in their skins; for newcomers who're still feeling their builds out, getting a lasso on their neck and pulling them around at breakneck speed with all the red numbers popping up around is a good way to get them frustrated. =/ Next time, I'd say try doing the Praetorian intro arcs from PI. That's a good lead-in to what "else" is out there, gets you fair XP, and lets you build cred towards the buff accolades to boot.
Anyway, GL finding that guy again. -

At this point I'd just open a trouble ticket for direct assistance from NCSoft. You might have an ISP routing issue, if what you say is true.

All requests added to Tulpe. Remember, this is NOT an actual Trial run, this is a walkthrough of the Keyes reactor in Neutropolis for people who want to learn the trial mechanics.
Of course, if everyone gets it, I see no reason why we can't put that info to immediate use once we're done! =D

EDIT: Just tallied the 50s. Adds on another 4871 hours, totaling 13,609 hours. Doesn't include the sub-50s. -
Tempting, but a bit too early for me.
GL to your L2 crew for hosting this!
