Ok ladies and gents,
the time for requests are over

I am sorry I forgot you were on the list. You will surely be the next work I will do. Sorry about that again.
[/ QUOTE ]
Am I still on the list...or was I to begin with? -
well, Alex's Sketch a Day thread when he re-opens the queue at the end of the month. If you have money, you can always get a commission done, browsing these forums and hopefully you'll find someone's style you like.

plenty of people out there to rival him but most dont exceed the rank of annoying paper boy who keeps throwing his paper on the roof. some of the ( like rawr ) have gotten to the rank of kid who lights bag off poo on fire and puts mean bumper stickers on his car
[/ QUOTE ]
...wait...what? -
[ QUOTE ]
Rawr has more chance to beat TA than you, Speedy.
[/ QUOTE ]
yeah, but thats only because the forcefield doesn't protect against talented catgirl artists. A combination that will surely be TA's downfall. -

who was selected
[/ QUOTE ]
hehe, I'm guessing you probably. Congratz in advance if I'm right. -
Sorry, I fooled around too much tonight and didn't get the ink finished but I got 1/4th of the way there. here is it thus far, only planning to do you.

Man TA can't you read :P

I think he posts completely on reflex when he sees the word "Requests" in the title. -
Striking Speedster vs Thor's Assassin...hmm well hopefully speedy has a jumppack to get up to TA's level...well good luck with that Speedy, I've always loved your look.

k sent my Turbo-ski into you. Character description is always in my sig along with the reference shot I sent you in the email.

dude your avatar is going to give me nightmares

just don't look in it's eyes and it can't hurt you... -
you could attempt to contribute something digitally or sketch something...or learn how. It certainly cured my boredom when I learned how to ink and color sketchs. I hear GIMP is a good free program to do that kind of stuff in.

Going to try and get Farwielder done by the end of the day as a B-Day gift.
-
Love the costume by the way! I suggest you mark ImagesbyAlex's Sketch a Day thread and hop on the queue when it reopens up at the end of the month. Hey it worked for me!

Aye, the boots are shiny awesomeness! -
well, I'm kind of get what you are saying...you can probably take a screenshot from Mechwarrior-like game and alter the hud to fit your description...sorry that's the only idea I got for you.

I use photoshop. I do almost exactly like Overbite's Inking Tutorial, using the polygonal lasso to select the lines.

feeling much better today, still have little bit stuffy in the nose but I don't have a nasty cough anymore.
Anyway I've finally finished up shading what I wanted to on Turbo-Ski, Here is the final product. I think it turned out really nice and I learned a few things while doing it too, which is always fun.
K, tomorrow I plan to start inking Krar for Antihiro, since he's been hard at work for a good while with his awesome Minis thread and keeping Alex's Sketch-a-day queue updated. -
The Inking came out nice and clean!
It was nice break from shading the Turbo-Ski sketch Alex did for me.

well I just started digital inking a few weeks ago. I already had Adobe Photoshop version 7 on my PC, but didn't know the process. After browsing the forums a bit I came across This inking tutorial (scroll down some). I haven't tried drawing yet (I suck at it too), but I can believe what speedster is saying about it helping. However photoshop is expensive ($600 for professional, and $80 for the lite version Elements), maybe there are some cheap alternatives though.
