well if you have difficulty with drawing (as I sometimes do) perhaps you could try digital inking, digital coloring or digital painting other peoples works.

I did those for a bit then tried to draw again and I find it helped me alot. You realy get a view for how the human form should look when you're trying to draw it

forgive me please for being dumb but what is digital inking?

Digital inking is like tracing over a pencil drawing with black, on the computer. Using an art program. If you want any tips on drawing, a lot of people here would be happy to help. Try getting some art books, search for tutorials at www.deviantart.com, stuff like that. And practice helps. You just need something to base off of.

well I just started digital inking a few weeks ago. I already had Adobe Photoshop version 7 on my PC, but didn't know the process. After browsing the forums a bit I came across This inking tutorial (scroll down some). I haven't tried drawing yet (I suck at it too), but I can believe what speedster is saying about it helping. However photoshop is expensive ($600 for professional, and $80 for the lite version Elements), maybe there are some cheap alternatives though.

GIMP is free, I think.

GIMP is indeed free, and available for pretty much whatever OS you happen to have (it was originally developed for Unix/Linux, yes?). It's also very very powerful, once you get used to the interface.

yeah, just Google GIMP and you will find it.

It's what I use to crop/resize
