  1. batman has the bat-sign in the sky, I just have someone post the word "Rikti" on the forums and I'm there, ready to find new ways to pull their limbs off...

Sadly though I don't know that the Rikti ever found Praetoria as a dimension so my ganking will have to remain Primal Earth bound.
  2. I'm sure the competition rules suggested results around the 28th, so not long to wait
    • Earning Vanguard merits by exterminating Rikti wherever I see them!
    • Ganking Void Seekers in city zones.
    • Finding great screenshot locations to use.
  3. A permanant "Master at Arms" one from the Rikti bashing event would suit me just fine...

    sigh... :'(
  4. No problem, I'm always up for seeing the Rikti getting a bit of a kicking.

We did some number crunching and we think (but sadly can't prove) that bombs suffer from diminishing returns in terms of time added, which is what cut off our attempt just over 2/3's of the way round.

I'd also suggest a slightly different grate route than the one presented here (crossing the main decks from left to right takes you through heavier respawns which will slow you guys down)

    Good Hunting

It always amuses me it how it was "mentioned" on another server yet you devised the strategy...

anyways, here are my notes on Union's attempt at this, we wish you good luck in achieving this, although time becomes the deciding factor in the attempt as we discovered.
  6. Well tonight's raid was a success with excellent work from all those that fought long and hard throughout the evening to bring the blob down!

My thanks to Lady Arete, Sgt, Seph, the team leaders and of course each and every Union hero that assisted in the kill.

Our controllers, tanks, defenders, scrappers and blaster teams worked really well together and I look forward to future raids!

Long live Union and the fantastic community therein!!!!!

I think you should replace "tried to" with "succeced in" as its a great entry
  8. If I ever sign up to join the AT police when organising TF's and SF's, someone please send round a rabid Mr T. to facepalm me.
  9. For me, it has to be Tsumiju Zero, followed by his temporal counterparts.

Zero however, will always get updated first for things like this

  12. having gone vertical as forementioned, I went with a subtle reminder of the past that Praetorian Earth had experienced, and then reminded the citizens who got them to where they were.

    ***Updated***
I went with the style of the Vanguard "they are still among us" style of posters, a bit dramatic but effective nontheless. My image was a heavily appliqued screenshot of boomtown with the obvious nuclear blast added (refer to Going Rogue backstory for relevence)
  13. Updated the texturing on the cape again, really pleased with the results
  14. thanks for the compliments guys
  15. yeah I was going for a slight street fighter look with the ink - thought it fitted well with the brush style of the Kanji, the fabric effect is exactly that, a photo of fabric shot in front of a light mixed with a screenshot and edited
  16. I think the first one in comparison was a bit dump though... hence wanting to replace it lol

It's also nice to see that new the retconned background gives some more depth to his character.

The Syndicate are cool too. Only the helmet from the motercycle guy looks goofy. There's a reason I don't use that on my own characters in game.
I'm going to have to roll a ICON themed blaster who's battlecry is "LEARN COSTUME CREATOR" for these particular chumps lol!
  18. Much updated version of the previous image.

  19. alas no conformation email that I know of. Guess we'll find out when the competition is announced.
  20. tres strange, as it doesnt appear at work as a valid link at all. I'll check on my home computer as well tonight

checked on my home machine, still can't see your avatar here either, it might be displaying from your internet cache?

as for ideas, I hope this sparks some imagination for the resistance!

  21. I think that the parlimentary issue should be sorted the old fashioned way.

Let them fight to the death and then elect Jeremy Clarkson for PM anyway

    Costume Creator

In the costume creator, I seem to be getting a blue tint (lightsource) to every reflective part such as Metallic tops, Enforcer Armor etc that makes it incredibly difficult to see if its tinted correctly.

As an example, I wanted to color the large robotic gloves the same color as the robotic upper arms from the cyborg costume pieces.

The natural tint of the large robotic gloves is slightly lighter than the cyborg pieces, so selecting the same color from the palette actually gives two slightly different colors.

Pre I17, I could just pick colors to match and hey presto, but now this blue tint is making it incredibly difficult to do so with light colors.

Just thought I'd mention it to see if its perhaps just my settings, or if anyone else has noticed this.
  23. lol well in the last raid my GPU died and I was fighting in the frontline with no EoE insps, which unfortunately for Hamidon is a one off. This time, rig is behaving and oh dear, Zero seems to be packing EoE's
