Hello everyone,wanted to let you know I will have to drop from the team.I will be starting a new job on Monday and it will be 2nd shift.I just like to say thank you for letting me run with you,and good luck I will be stopping by and checking the thread from time to time,to see how everyone is doing.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know I will have to drop from the group,I will be starting a new job Monday and unfortunely it is 2nd shift,it has been fun teaming with you and teaming again with some of you ((Mouse4dawin!!)).Anywho good luck,hopefully I will come across some of you from time to time.

Hey gang...I have good new and bad news,after several months I finally got a gig being paid what I wanted and in the field I wanted,but I will be on 2nd shift which means I will have to drop out,which really kills me because I had more fun in are few weeks then I have in along time in COX.I like to thank all of you for making it a blast to be part of and Rock was moving up in my stable of favorite toons.

I start next week so I will leave it up to you if you want me to drop out this week so you can find my replacement ((hah!! no one can replace that crazy knucklehead :P)) and get them intergrated into the team or would you like me to team this last time,either way is good lemme know.

Hey team,I apologize for not show up or letting anyone know,but I was in the hospital up till about 2 in the morning with my daughter,good news she is ok,bad news she kept us up till 5am. Rock will be ready to rumble next week for sure.Sounds like there was some good stuff last night =)

Nnnnooooo,Unaitus is leaving for good *Arrgghhh* ((I do understand last year IRL made me leave COX as well if you visit you BETTER drop on by =) )) And now Sky isn't showing up,I can't be the only nut to run smack into the group and get ganked....Sky come back soon!! :P

While I do agree there can be more "Rp",Remeber we have only teamed twice and people are still finding thier toon's voice,add to the fact I have found at lower lvls people are much more worried about surviving the battles then how they spilt coffee on thier uh-ohs.

And even though it was sort of quickly rp'd out I did find out Unaitus is a alien warrior,who likes combat ((imo)) and Ke'Ros who left his world because of the constant wars.I think I got that right or was it the other way around!?!Hey what do you expect I am a rockhead :P

So here I go don’t even know why I am letting you chumps get a look at the inside of the costume hero world. You know who I am talking about you couch potatoes, pencil neck geek, sci-fi convention mongering, basement dwelling, internet Timmie Toughnuts.
Ya ***** and complain about how muggers, bangers, thugs, mooks, and every dumb *** who can shoot a beam from some orifice on their body do as they will with no one helping.

And so I am taking abit of time to let you know while we may blow crap up, smash abit of public property, and crack a few heads…its not easy, we are trying to save this World a little bit at a time. And so this chance kinda fell in my lap, I registered at City Hall letting em know just how amazing I truly am, when and I don’t know why, I wandered over to this area where this strange garbed fellow smiled at me and said “Yes you will do very nicely” he flashed me some bureaucratic credentials told me to meet my group on Wednesday with a smile and wink.. ol dude was gone, like just disappeared into thin air, so whatever I am not sure if I will show or not.

Wednesday rolls around and I find myself waiting outside under the statue of Atlas dude, I felt just like where I was standing under “nuts” funny enough I wasn’t the only one, then after a few minutes they where eight of us looking at each other gaging, wondering what the hell am I doing exactly. Gotta be honest they looked like a bunch losers, I thought man you are getting stuck with a bunch of bench warming B-rated jobbers.

Someone spoke up asking “Who is the leader?” I quickly offer myself,I mean c’mon I am the man, while I never lead before, I know I was the best outta this bunch, that’s for damn sure. Well I guess I didn’t win Mr. Popularity and the choose Gleaming Bolt, he seems alright and he does sport a pretty cool visor.

The problem with jokes or folks use the fall back attitude "Don't take it so seriously" People are not made the same we all have opinions that are vast and wide.Hence why there is all types of comedians but I believe you need to use common sense when and where to make these "JOKES",comments whatever.
I don't want to hear poop or vomit jokes while I am having supper,or someone screaming bomb in a airport.So while I think they may have come down harshly on the OP maybe that wasn't the right time or place to do it,plus as others have pointed out there are rules already in place in the forum,in game,ect.
I have worked in the trucking biz for along time and as a bouncer for even longer I have heard them all, it doesn't affect me one way the other,but I do understand not everyone is me.

Ok seriously the last two sessions have been tons of fun from the badges,story arcs and the great team work that is going on,good times everyone!

Alpha is doing just fine,no complaints here,actually the whole unit/team is kicking butt. Are damage dealers are on the ball with hailing flames,to the fire swords with slamming and knocking clowns out.Officer J keeping us alive during are chaos and keeping them baddies so confuse that I thought I heard a troll ask which way was his bum :P

As far as others joining I am all for it,this is a solid core of no griefing,each person encouraging the others and no pointing the finger if things gets wild with us ending up licking the floor.I know we originally had 8 people join the original unit..but it seems we never have a full compliment ((IRL always comes first)) but are they still wanting to be part of the Daybreakers?..Maybe we should see who is in or out fill those slots then work on alts?
I am good with whatever...by the by thanks team for helping me catch up

Heyo team...some random thoughts
First many thanks to everyone wishing me a happy B-day couldn't think of a better way then hanging with The Daybreaker's.

Second in case I forgot to do so Caemgen,Thank you for setting this up and getting the wheels rollin not a bad first outing at all.

Officer J. Justice great job being the Dayleader (team leader) you kept us pointed in the right direction with it being are first time together could of been a mass confusing mess,it wasn't WELL DONE!

To all the other member's of the Unit,Great job gang!!

Ok as far as speed of lvl's lets remember 1-5 was sewers which will always be pretty fast but then 6-8 ish was abit slower as we ran Radio's and some member's drop out.
Also as we get higher in lvls we will deffently slow down.I too like to take breaks after every so many missions,bio,COFFEE! whatnot, might be a good idea for who ever is Day leader when we are moving a long distance to next miss or there is that small lull to call a quick 5-10 minute break for everyone to breathe :P

Diffaculty setting I am meh,I want to do as many arcs with TF's thrown in as possible but I will of course go along with whatever the Unit decides. (Lubs Merits and badges!)

I think on Thursday we should hit are contacts or just get ourselves to the Hollow's talk to Wincott.Hollow arc's is a decent time even if we arrest FF for the Millionth time. :P

I too will pass on Vent only because I would hate to kill the voices in my head..err..umm what I think are voices sound like in the Armors,yeah thats it.

I do have Leadership pool in my build so its all Jake on this end.

Zeta make whatever you will love to play to 50 within the Unit I say be happy! Also if you need some help lvling send me a Pm we can meet up I have some low lvl toons I could jump on and help out

Yup Tuesday is almost here and for me at least its doubly good since it's my birthday so hanging out with y'all for the morning part will be cool beans.

Caemgen I couldn't agree more,everyone has different rp styles some heavier then others I think the best rule is show respect and be treated how you wish to be treated is a good and very simple rule.

Now I am or have been part of static groups in the past,some things that does come up that can cause confusion/or tons of waiting time is we should have a general idea of what each session should be with a back up plan in case people fail to show/what not and what is the plan if say half of the team doesn't show? A sort of general rule should be voted on.

Also on leader's I found each day a different person being choosen is a good way to go.Of course those who have star fright may choose to be skip thier turn as leader,from past experience once or twice through the rotation someone ends up taking up the leadership mantle and everyone one else in the group seemly content with that person.

And finally we are all meeting up outbreak to grab Iso badge but after that? are we running story arcs off the back since we are all same origin it would be same contact or are we going to sewer up for quick lvls,then depending on time remaining go to KR for temp travel before starting Hollows Arc?
If we can get a vote on it before tomorrow should be less standing around saying I really don't care what we do lets just do something :P

First I like to thank the OP interesting comments,but now I am confused which for me is very easy.Let me help you out, if I wanted to say you didn't have a life I would simply do so with no remorse or care of consquences in doing so,also I am truely not smart enough to imply anything through witty or not so witty words,sorry just isn't me,whatever your issues are those are yours to deal with!

Now as far as time goes do I believe someone with 7.2 hours of game time a day can flesh out thier toon,create small vices and angst compare to someone who has 2.5 hours a day and STILL accomplish certain apsects of the game,yes,yes,yes but maybe thats just me,as I said before I ain't that smart maybe time has no factor whatsoever *shrugs*

And finally by your admission you don't read comics but still had something to say on the matter in my post,so let try another avenue.In any literature,movies or tv show there is a realism created by that shows verse and many times there is a "bible" of the characters so that when other writers come in you don't have the characters break the realism of the show,so for example Lets not have the Cheerleader suck someones brain through a garden hose with no explaination,then later episodes never do it again (Ok David Lynch aside :P)) yes 20 writers will have versions and not stay consistent with other writers thats going to happen but when Batman starts to fly back and forth to the sun via is own natural ability with no explaination and now its taken as matter of fact,IMO "Realsim" of that comic has been broken.

Lastly I am not saying anyones dark,moody,violent,battered,angsty,hateful,powerfu l,vampire,witch,demi-god,soldier for hire isn't realistic,but don't point your finger in my chest and say my young,brash,adventerous,american loving,spandex wearing isn't realistic,be happy in your world as I will be in mine.

*Breathes out slowly* I almost never ever get into these because I am not going to change anyones mind nor are they going to change my mind.But when we use the word "Realism/Realsitic" in a on-line Superhero game this term is vague at best.Now there can be different perceptions of realism depending on each person,and I really don't give a flying fig what your perception of realism or realistic theme is if you like it go with it but don't poo-poo in front of my parade saying Silver age toon's or even Golden age toon's is unrealistic.

Do I play a 17 year old kid who just found his abilities,reading comics his whole life he wants to be like them and live by a better standard then jabbing a blade in someones eye,or shooting someone in the crotch,Sure he is barley keeping a D average in school,drools at ever big busted female toon.And should it come up great.But we are not reading a comic here we are playing a MMO many of us with limited time so forgive me if I don't have the ex-junkie,abused, car stealing,Hellion bangin kid who get his powers and now wants to be the world's Supra bad [censored].If that is your perception of realism have at it!!

It's funny even the BIG TWO comic universes can't keep thier "Realism/Realistic" universe in order or the word "Ret-con" would never be used."Umm Martian Manhunter has heat vision,no,no he is afraid of fire,ok its Martian vision,later he uses heat vision again.Sasqautch from Alpha Flight lifting a 747 umm he isn't really that strong,bah he is now.Gladiator lifting the FF tower without it crumbling or just recently Wolverine having his complete flesh melted off his skeleton and surviving hmmm isn't all of this just the writers Perception of the character's "Realsim?"

I don't know about anyone else I like rp'ing I love toons that are flawed and overcome great obstacles and I love playing toons who has a high morale standard who loves thier country it depends on the toon,but honestly every time I take the Tram,lvl my toon,pick a power, "Realsim'Realistic takes a back seat to fun.
