Yes all the most recent changes to the game have converted it to City of Farmers,

1) purple recipes tied to mob defeats = best way to get them = farm or PL
2) XP smoothing = reduced the number of drops per level = farm oro to get stuff.
3) XP smoothing = sweeping hazard zones are the best place to level (again, we've come full circle on this one) and while you are sweeping you get to farm.

Lotta really bad ideas here that all point to skipping content and merely farming as the "most efficient way to play the game"

This was to address CAP RUNS. It's meant to stop people from farming recipes on VILLIAN side. And while yes... SF's might be running more like they're intended... the pool C recipes on villian side won't be runnin at all.

It's just another example of them not being honest about the reasons behind the "fix". We know this was because of Cap runs. They know we know. Their PR department said "that won't go over well... just blame it on the RMTers"

Is this thing full and "closed" or is it still possible to join? I'm from Houston and went to school about 2 mins from Austin so I have a few friends up there still! I was thinking I might want to make the trip up there if there's still room, but I thought I'd check before calling friends and arranging a place to stay!

You can never have too many people in the group that are used to "superteam" tactics!

Inside Burn Machine’s helmet, a small notification pops up on the HUD of his visual display. With a small, almost unnoticeable gesture, his well trained team takes up defensive positions, and awaits further orders. As he digests the incoming data, only the metal surrounding him hides his rage from the squad. He activates a small beacon, and all he says is, “Form up. We’re heading back to the base.” As one, they activate their “porters” and return to their hidden lair.

Arriving back on the teleport pads, the team is met by still more of their kind as everyone has received the “Emergency Recall and Reactivation Beacon” previously sent out, and is now pouring into the base. This team is not like you’re normal team. This team is made up of heroes who each received their powers in different and unique ways… but there is one thing that unites them. Every last one of them can control fire. Every last one of them emits radiation. Some might think that a team simply made up of those who controlled said powers wouldn’t be that strong, but they would be wrong. Through a lot of planning, practicing, and determination, these “fire and radiation controllers” combine their powers to achieve incredible results and there are few things in Paragon indeed that can withstand the might of the F.Rads!

Once everyone has arrived, questions start flying around.

Except for giant wings that protrude from his back, a normal looking ‘killa asks “What gives Burn? Why the recall?” “&lt;Killobot 5000 also requests said information&gt;” chimes a mechanical voice from the back. “Ya! What’s so bad that we ALL need to be here???” the hero known as “Fiery Ageone” asks incredulously. Various other similar questions start to ring out from around the room.

“I’ve brought you here because we’re going to NEED everyone we can get.” says the team’s founder and leader. “Indeed Ageone, it’s been a long time since we faced something requiring all of us, but that’s exactly what we face now. Those of you who didn’t take the porters in, might have heard the sirens already. The Rikti have been secretly repairing their downed ‘mothership’ and have begun opening portals to their homeworld again! The crash site has turned into a war zone and the Vangaurd are going to need all the help they can get.”

The room erupts but is finally brought quite by Burn Machine.

“We hadn’t formed this group the last time the Rikti hit our world… but we’re here now. It’s time these Rikti see what we can do, and it’s time we teach them our power. THIS time Paragon isn’t going down so easily. THIS TIME, the Rikti are going to face the F.Rads! THIS TIME THE RIKTI WILL BURN!”
