The thing that i will always considered extreme is the filter blocking the public domain character names (Dracula, Hades, Frankenstein) Every Ancient Greek Mythology character name is part of the public domain. I still find this over the line.

I can't discuss everything about this because is against the forum rules, but i need to take my time to thank you for great understanding and support. Most of the times I'm an easy going person, but sometimes i can be strong and a little hard too. After seeing this whole post up to date, i must say that the filter it is overzealous. Blocking Greek Mythology names and mythological creature names that always have been public domain, that's just over the line. I know they are working on this and the best we can do is wait for this whole issue to be fixed.

This is my point of view on the following names for both mission architect and player character: A name like Phantasm which is public domain in City of Heroes since we have access to a pet that is called Phantasm, if an Illusion Controller reach level 32 and up, this name does not represent any danger along others mentioned here like Dracula, Hades, Frankenstein, etc.

As others here i understand the fear of another lawsuit but for none of those companies can damage Paragon for using a Greek Mythology or Urban Myth names. Their character concepts, well that's a different story but for that a lot of people here have something that we call 'Creativity'

Someone real special here saw my Phantasm creation already and her name is not Andrea or Danny, she does not have a cloak and a mask of death and she does not speak with a special voice changer to intimidate the crime bosses. She does not either have telekinesis powers and a arrogant greedy attitude. :P, she is an average specter from the Netherworld.
The costumes i created for her are perfect for any story arc based in the Netherworld, Paranormal activity , Ancient and Urban Myth themes. So it will be nice to use her for an arc or for someone to use her costumes for any of this film and literature genres.

The last thing i can laugh at is of Nelson being marked as Copyright/Profane.

Now let's wait for this to be fixed. We have enough evidence here that this filter will never work for anyone who just want to create an arch without braking the rules.

Both Primal Earth and Praetorian Vanessa Devore will listen to Cabaret, Dark Cabaret, music bands like the Tiger Lillies, The Dresden Dolls/Coin Operated Boy, Alu, The Carnival, Voltaire, The Tallyman's Dark Omnibus, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, etc. Some of the Carnies will love this too and for sure Burlesque music.

For sure they will love to Dark Burlesque experimental music like Emilie Autumn. They will be listening too to Folk/Cabaret music bands like Vermillion Lies.

In additional to the great music they love, i can't wait for an encounter of both Primal Earth and Praetorian Vanessa Devore.

Welcome to the the forums . I have some FX ideas for character auras here. I hope some of them can be of your likes. Here i go:

I love the Flies aura that is currently available in the game and it will be awesome that we can have a variety of flying insects since there is a lot of us who love have a insect character on Paragon City, Praetoria or the Rogue Isles. How about Bee Swarms auras? i will love those, but not only Bees, Wasps, Hornets. In additional to the great standard flies aura, i think we can have Dragon Flies, Butterflies and Moths for aura. If we can use this as Color Tintable, this auras will look more beautiful. Butterflies can have some minimum glowing or sparkling with them.

If i think of an insect aura that will look good around our characters feet, that will be the Ant aura. It can look impressive or even a little spooky depending on the character concept, but it will look good. Specially Fire Ants aura.

Just like the flies aura, the wide variety of insect auras will look good at our characters torsos, over our characters heads or some all around balance. I think they will look good no matter what.

Another flying animal aura that will be perfect for some that we love this is a Bat Aura. There is a wide variety of Vampires on this community and for me this aura will not be only useful for Vampires, for freely characters too , i will suggest this ones as Color Tintable too, because purple and pink bats are always needed. :P

Bats will look good around our characters back going into a direction above and close to our arms too.

I think this suggestions can be possible for you guys to implement them in game, since you have done a lot more complicated things already. I can wait for them without any problem.

Thanks again for posting a new All Things art suggestion thread. I know that no matter which technique you use in this type of concepts, they will look very good. I'm very up to pay for a aura packs for Flying Insects and any Flying animals. Because there is a very wide variety of Birds that can look very good and beautiful here.
