  1. Sorry if this has been answered before, but before I started running DropStats I wanted one clarification...

So let's say I take my psuedo-farmer out for a spin--do I need to change her difficulty to include bosses to get an accurate reading? Or will DropStats count the lts as lts, not bosses?
  2. ic wut u did thar.

Shame to see you go, guessing we may eventually see you back...

Take care, and never forget your towel.

    Happy Monday....

Er, about that, Siolfir...I was wondering...if you wouldn't mind coming in for a bit on Tuesday...

    ...yeah...

We can just call it Monday...

    That'd be great.

    *slurps*

Alternatively: every day is Monday in happy fun land!

Probably a reference to "Do You Want to Date My Avatar" and some of the more...risque...lyrics.
  5. Yay! That would be great. There was a rumor going around that this last patch was supposed to fix this problem, but with no official patch notes, I wasn't really putting much stock in the rumor.

I know the MoITF is fine--people are running them pretty constantly atm. I was just letting them know that Kahn and Cuda aren't working quite right all the time, so they wouldn't get all nerdragey if they happen to be unlucky to dc. But thank you for the clarification if people don't read the link (people not reading? On the internet? NEVAR).

And yes, absolutely NO rewards are given if you dc. No merits, recipes, nada.

That being said, if I'm on when you guys run them, and you need a (de)buffer, I'm available.

  8. Yo, guys, just so you know: people are having issues completing them.

You may get lucky, you may not. *shrug* Unless today's maintenance magically fixed it...

    What Colors....

The most exciting one to customize for me was definitely one of my storm corrs. She's rad/storm, and the entire story behind her is she's absolutely threaded with radiation through all her cells, so I had a fun time making all her storm powers look sickly. I colored her Steamy Mist a toxic looking dull yellow and pea green combination that has made one or two people uncomfortable to stand near. I lurve it.

I also had fun recoloring my storm/elec's to match her different costumes. Patriotic storm powers, anyone? And lime green lightning. Wheeee.

I did change my fire/therm's powers to an obnoxiously bright yellow/white/orange combo, but I had to tone it down because it was blinding me, let alone anyone I was trying to shield.
  10. Here is the testing.

They have been running farms and missions and doing the math. I'm sure there are other threads too, this is just the closest.
  11. Outta curiosity, a while down the line, are you guys considering doing level 4 PvP again, or is this strictly a zone/higher level/srs bsns PvP event kinda night?

Pretty sad when regular contacts give more generous rewards then the SF in their level range, lol.
This is true of pretty much most villain side content, if I am remembering off the top of my head correctly.

I'll meet up with you whenever in game to get the invite to the channel of thingyness.

And the plan looks fine. I personally don't slot DOs, at all, unless they drop, so I'll just take the time to do rl things. Since I'm a solider, I'll need a break in a couple weeks to do my respec, whenever we hit 24, but since I'm down as a 'maybe' anywho, I don't see it being a problem.

I also personally don't care one way or the other about merits--I just use the market to get what I need, and rely on drops otherwise, so as long as we aren't running one mission over and over again, I'm happy.
  14. I haven't tried snapshot, since I rolled a fire/TA, but I noticed last night Entangling Arrow is animating before my character pulls out the bow. Glue Arrow didn't have that problem, and I haven't picked up anymore TA powers to take a look see to see if any other powers had that issue.

Is it the same problem, or something else?
  15. I had fun last night! But I am not quite clear on the whole chat channel/vg thingy. I'm assuming we're probably going to form an VG, per LG's post, but I remember some random comment in team about a chat channel, but it wasn't set up yet?

Is it set up and I just missed it, or is it still being arranged? I wouldn't mind setting it up then passing off mod-ship if it just hasn't gotten done.

And Lord Gryphon--you missed me in the inf handout, but I have quite a few cash cows on redside, so no worries for me. ^.^ Also to LG--I was actually level 5 when I got onto the team (toon is level pacted with someone not in the group, so I kinda played him before Tuesday), but by the end of the night, he was the same level as everyone else. The SSK thing seems to keep people relatively close (it seems to equalize levels over time within reason), so keeping your xp on shouldn't be a huge problem--after all, you'll just get mal'd down when you join the team.

    Grats y'all!
  17. Could it possibly be the order of the two female AVs (seeing as how the two that posted their complete orders, DeVore and Crey were switched)? Or could it be something in an earlier mission that's triggering the early bump out?
  18. Wailers: Can you hear me now?

Wailers: Proving sonic sets aren't gimp since 2005.
  19. AR/Traps has a story synergy, but playstyle it requires a lot of bouncing around to make effective (unless you only do pulls, which are effective but slow after a while). It ain't any worse than AR/Kin though--so possible, and a good deal safer than most other secondaries. Elec and Rad blast would actually synergize better with Traps, as do Ice and Fire (but ice and fire tend to synergize with everything).

All the options you're looking at are good choices. Fire/Dark is kinda a 'I Win' button in game. I loved leveling mine and she was easily my fastest 50. Rad/Dark would be an interesting combo, and one I've been thinking of trying out myself recently.
  20. My original forum handle was the name of the first toon I ever rolled in City...a BS scrapper who got deleted at level 2. Eventually, I changed it to my in-game handle.

Tiny Bolt came into being because I had made an /elec defender, and she was small...I had actually tried Small Bolt (I'm so damn creative, I know), but it was taken, so I just used Tiny instead. It stuck, and I had so much fun, she became my first 50. And I got so used to being called Tiny, I do have a handful of toons that are 'Tiny' something, simply because it's weird to me to be called anything else now. Tiny Bolt has slowly been making its way into other internet sites.

I can make myself available should we decide to split into East/West coast runs, though I'll have to talk it over with Herc a bit and see how things go. Either way, I'll keep you posted.

Heck, if I manage to get in on another raid or two so I know what's going on, I wouldn't mind helping organize the second one some weeks. Back to back all the time does seem a bit much, but either space it out by a couple hours, or even a couple days?

I dunno, seriously, just random fluff off the top of my head.
  23. I still want an all stormy ITF. >.>

Barring that, an all cold/storm ITF.

How long do ship raids normally take?

I was just wondering, since it seems to be popular, would it be overkill to run two ship raids? One earlier, for East Coast/some Central, and then another one a couple hours later, for West Coast/other Central/late East Coast folk. Or if we split it into two runs, would we not get enough people to take down the ship?

Just thoughts, I've only made it to one, so don't know how long it takes/actual interest levels (I just know most ship raids so far have spawned a second RWZ), etc.

This. I'm guilty of often skipping stickies myself, unless I'm trying to find something. And it's oddly enough easier for me to track threads if it bounces up and down the page. Makes it more noticeable, cause it moves.
