For damage, tremor isn't very good, but it allows you a second aoe knockdown for regeneration purposes.
High Pain Tolerance: I went 3 resist, 3 health.
I recommend getting tough and weave from the fighting pool.
I was torn between stone fist, kick, and boulder as an attack filler. I went with the boulder. Not the best choice, but it doesn't keep me up at night. I slotted it with the hold proc, so it could combo decently with Seismic SMASH! It gives me a second or two of mitigation with bosses or EB's. (Also good as a finisher. A dying mob flying out of the crowd herded around you is aesthetically pleasing.) -
My current project is a sm/wp, and I'm enjoying it. SM takes good advantage of the fury bar with some slow, bursty and LOUD attacks. It feels to me (TO ME) like a more controllery version of SS. I knew it was end-hoggish, so I really couldn't stand it without pairing the set up with WP
I tried WM(/shield and /wp) for 20 lvls each, but I couldn't get as into it. WM felt like more of a scrappery set. More end-savvy, but just hitting things with less damage and a simple "clunk". Again, to me, it feels like you could replace it with bs/wa/kat and pretty much have the same set. -
Sure. I have a dark/ice fender if you need support.

Struts in whistling, legs expanding and contracting rhythmically instead of actually dancing, holding a steamboat wheel.

That's what I was thinking for a quick fix, just add the boss objective and have her call the dialogue from that same room--just have the minions casting the spell say something brainless, the captive and the boss say their own story-advancing pieces.
Then my only issue would be proximity, which I can't fix. -
Okay, the first mission in my arc, I wanted something simple and paper-ish-ly easy, so I wanted one boss to hold one hostage at the end of the mission.
My problem is getting that one boss. I'd even be satisfied with a group of a boss and minions or lieutenants, like at the end of the papers. You get the boss and a group.
Starting with just the boss in the custom faction on easy mode running on Relentless spawns three bosses. Four with medium, five with hard
Adding minions and lieuts into the faction seperately or all together gives me three through five of either (or both) and no boss
Bumping the boss up to an AV or EB gives me three through five (three EB's is an EASY encounter?!)
The "Single" option auto-completes the mission since no members of that faction spawn, and the hostage is doing the capture emote on its own.
I'd like the dialogue with the boss casting the CoT-ish spell on the hostage, but is it just that I'm going to have to rewrite until the tech catches up, or am I doing something wrong? -
Thanks. I usually start with an idea of personal lives during costume creation, so I love this thread.

Violet jiggled the key to her apartment building near the Perez War Wall in Steel canyon, holding the Sword of Otora Shiro between her legs as she worked the difficult doorknob with both hands, flustered because it just started to rain. The cheap knob always started to rust at the end of the summer. The taunting from an intelligent weapon rattling around in her skull didn't help any.
Stupid woman. If you were man, door would be opened now!
Azuria had assured her years ago that psychic weapons weren't supposed to have accents. Violet tried not to pay him any mind, but it had been a long day, and she was ready for a hot bath and a good book. The Envoy of Shadows would have wanted it that way. She took a deep sigh of relief when the door finally opened and she walked through the mildewed vestibule with cracked white paint and tiles that were cracked or missing, and headed for the mailbox.
You no get mair flom anyone. You stupid, razy woman. A man hording sword of Otora Shiro get many retters. Woman get--ouch!
Violet rapped the hilt on the mailbox to close it, "Bills."
She started up the stairs, dragging the sword on the ground and bumping it against every other stair. He had been a benevolent and cruel companion. The sword, though after three years still rebuked the fact that she was a woman, transformed her from an almost-fifty-year-old overweight housewife into a twenty-something bombshell, and gave her memories and skills of five centuries worth of warlords. Still, his words of protest as he banged against three flights of stairs were entertaining, and helped her unwind. She opened the door and headed down the musty-smelling hallway with old carpet decorated by years of untrained dogs and unruly children, her apartment door in sight.
Stupid, disrespectful woman! You berong in kitchen, not on battlefierd
She opened the door with a smirk and hung her fedora on the hat rack, unclipped her hair and shook it out. "You know, Torrie, you're absolutely right."
She unsheathed the sword and took a cucmber from the refrigerator, with the dirtiest words she'd ever been telepathically sent from a sword--which made her laugh--she cut it into thin slices. Satisfied, she resheathed the sword, leaving it on the sofa and went to start the bath water. -
