  1. Well the stuff costing in the 100's or 1000's isn't really in question because everyone can get those.

many many mill on the other hand can be a problem for many.

The real matter at hand though was the insane difference from villain to hero side. Villains got a tough life ^^ Although the last month have been improving for the villain side.
  2. Goto any starter area or farm spot in Lineage 2 and you see they don't care. I have screensshots of bot trains with over 100 dwarves ^^

Point beeing they use a botprogram and not a feature of the game as lineage doesn't even have Ctrl click or qued buttons.

There is no botting in CoX only for the reason that the game is so mission base and no outside farming pay off.

Trust me if outside farming suddenly payed off after a patch you can bet your pants that there will be bots running around from day 1.

This is not a feature to endorse botting but to help players.
  3. I'm actually starting to get semi satisfied. The prices are dropping again on BM.

No idea if this post made any impact or just more player like me starting to sell lower, but it seems to be going the right way now.

Still quite absurd overall to hero side, but maybe one day the villains financial will be as good and the tinker bells.
  4. [ QUOTE ]
Bad suggestion... would lead to Bot play.

    [/ QUOTE ]

First off PlayNC doesn't care about Botting, look at Lineage.

Second those people that want to bot do it with cordination key click programs, not an ingame feature.

and third botting in game would have very little effect so noone would bother.
  5. And you can make a lvl 50 in 3 days under other circumstances.

Point is just to make it easier and more convenient to play and lessed the button smashing that also causes tennis albow and other muscle strains :P
  6. [ QUOTE ]
And after 15 minutes of not being active you are loged out lol

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Exactly.
  7. And where exactly would that be hurting anyone?

If you think a play is too much afk and not doing his/her job properly you kick them from the grp, that simple.

And what happens every time you switch mission and go up a floor in elevators?

There is no way you can make close to full automated play with this and still be effective.

But would save the rest of us a lot of keysmashing.
  8. Ok it's like this. Mass confuse is an aoe power.

Aoe power only get set bonuses from aoe set IOs, and the only aoe IO set i know of are dmg and can't be put in mass confuse.

The confuse IO sets are single target. You can put them in mass confuse since it's a confuse set but since mass confuse is aoe then according to mids it doesn't give you the set bonuses.

Same with mass hypnosis and call of the sandman set, doesn't recive set bonuses.
  9. I'm not endorsing automated play but for certain ATs you get a of 30 or above recharge timer skills that is quite essential so you want it on a button close by and use it as often as possible.

This take up quite a bit of keyspace on buttons you have close by without moving your fingers away from movement keys (bad idea if you pvp for once or in concentrated fights in pve...pfff :P)

Atm for example on my toons that have it have Buildup ctrl clicked but like on my Dominator i would LOVE more ctrl click buttons for like Domination and Hasten.

As i think it's not really possible to "Chine farm"(sorry for the expression) in this game i can't see the harm in adding a few more automated power to get more space for our more frequent used spells and release some stress from our already bloodied fingers.
  10. According to mids perma Hasten is 85% as far as i can tell 86% giving 99% recharge enough to have it on Ctrl click, and then when you hear that "wwuuuuuuu" sound you click domination
  11. Wouldn't the recharge bonus have to be over 85% in order to achive perma hasten and Domination?
  12. Simply wasn't room in the build for mass confusion. The aoe sets you are allowed to put in sets like call of the sandmand or decimation but because it's aoe it offers no set bonuses.

Atleast according to mids it doesn't and i can't afford to cut even one bonus out if i want to optimize.

    [ QUOTE ]
... i made an easy 50 mill a month back on costume piece but not anymore.

    [/ QUOTE ]

So you're happy to charge a ridiculous price yourself, but not so happy to pay someone else's ridiculous price?

Aren't you part of your own problem?

    [/ QUOTE ]

actually i always look at last sold prices and cut 25% of that price when i put up stuff.

It have worked so far, most of the stuff i've been selling most off have gone way down in price over the last month.

I haven't gotten many of the recipes i need mostly because of my lvl yet, and i won't be able to put them up right away either because i will first use them myself.

So your assumption is wrong, i'm not happy about the prices and try everytime i sell something to put market prices down.

So i would guess the reason i make money is because:

    1. i'm extremely lucky on drops, that can't e helped.

    2. I sell for lower prices even if they are ridicules, so my stuff always gets sold.

    3. i farm places that pays off the best.
  14. I've only played the game for little over a month and i still see that attitude.
Now that they realize IO's is a must they can spend thier several 100's of mill getting them asap and [censored] the marked.

I guess i'm a young hothead? :P That's ok by me, i have 13 years mmo exp so i learn quickly what's best.
  15. Man you people are asuming a lot. Di i ever say i was poor?, not wanting to farm this?

Actually i have quite a lot of money and is quite lucky in getting both recipes i need or sell good. And i'm not stopping until my toons is complete the way i want them to be and not some lame gimp spec.

But that's ok you can asumee what you want prices are still redicules and i would suspect this could be one more reason people prefer or end up playing the hero side in the end.
  16. @Heart_Attack, why would people want to use other sets just to gimp themself?

All this talk just futhers more the sense of having joined hero and villain auction.
  17. Yes i agree a lot of prices has fallen like costume pieces and so, i made an easy 50 mill a month back on costume piece but not anymore.

But if you read it's the recipes that's mostly in question here and the grosly huge difference between hero and villain side.

Ohh how i wish they would put hero and villain joined auction in the game.

If i were to buy all my enhancements atm past lvl 40 asuming they were up on BM i'm looking at 400 mill if i find it cheap. I could play what, 2 new toons to lvl by the time that's farmed?
  18. I know it seems impossible to build with the absurd prices flying around on villain side (what around 500% increase or more then Hero). But i'm doing well on inf atm and have started to buy up the expensive parts. (i'm quite lucky on drops too).

But i asked comments about build not prices as i'm gonna make a perma dom happend no matter the cost

Dominators and Controllers is the ATs i feel i was meant to play.

And what the spec is for should be rather obvious.

Ps. @OhGodtheRats the whole point about this spec revolves around the set bonuses.
  19. [ QUOTE ]
If people did not pay the silly prices then others would not put them up for sale at those rather large rates.

I actually think that the general price rates on CoV are quite a bit lower than they are on CoH - so much so that items I'd sell for via Wentworths I do not even bother placing on the Black Market as the recent trend for their sales is way below what the Quartermaster would give me for them.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Most commen salvage and yellow you can sell for ok prices on Hero side, and you used to on villain side as well about 5 weeks back.

but 50k stuff is really not the issue even for the worst money maker.

    It's the recipes and enhancements.
  20. Then i guess it's the villain side that has obsession with outrages prices compared to heroes.
  21. I say enough with the silly outrages prices that are here on union.

I've checked around on other servers both villain and hero side and Union prices are ridiculess.

It's atleast a steady 500% increase in price on Union compared to other servers to make it rough.

As far as i know there are no items bought from merchants that cost several houndred millions.

Yes i know prices go up on demand and everyone sells higher to get more more to buy more expensive recipes and so in continue in a vicious circle

Here's an example: Luck of the Gambler 50 mill, [censored]? i've bought this for 2 mill on other servers.

Ahh well enough bickering from me as it prolly won't help but would encourge ppl to start bidding lower to get rid of these outrages prices.

Ps. only Union villain side seem to be affected, my hero on Union have no problem getting what he wants.

Might just be me but i could find better stuff to do then farm 500 mill inf, iunno make another toon, do some TF, raid or whatever.
  22. It's gonna cost me shitloads since recipes for some reason on union cost 500% more then on other servers but getting there.

this is what i came up with:

Well it is a Dom! I kid, I kid.

Firstly, you have no Stamina, or Power Sink (seeing as you chose the Mu Mastery pool). Using Telekinesis will drain your endurance incredibly quickly even with Stamina, so in your case you'll find the endurance drain especially bad.

Also, Decimation: Chance for Build Up is a unique IO and you can't have more than one. As such your current build is impossible.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wierd normally mids hero builder warn if you can't have more then one. Guess i can remove 1 slot in ice bolt.

And yeah stupid me not taking power sink. I was lazy reading and thought it drained fom dead bodies like many other skills in this game.

Found it hard to fit stamina into it and still get over 85% recharge i'll try again

But what about stuff like acc and so, is it high enough?

Basicly if possible i'm looking for a mind/ice build that has over 85% recharge and with the following:

    Ice blast
    bitter ice blast
    greater ice sword.
    mez
    dominate
stamina (would prefer 3 slot hurdle)
acrobatics (would prefer 3 slot combat jumping)
    levitate
and last the best from mu matery as i found charged armor most appealing.

I'm trying hard myself and please feel welcome to have a go at if you feel like helping poor little me.
  24. [ QUOTE ]
That build will have serious issues in PvP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    explanation?
  25. Ok so i messed around with it a bit more and came up with this.

Things i could notice myself and as for questions is:

Is there enough acc in my attacks or do i need to slot a single IO in the 6th slot?

will the 89% get me permadom?

and last is there enough regen in this build?

This is for pvp only Mostly arena, solo and dou hunting.

    Many thanks in advance.
