    This is what I was trying to tell others as well and it fell on deaf ears (err blind eyes)

    One of the devs said a while ago shortly after the influx of the new slaves, err fully compensated underlings, that they were able to do stuff to the code that would have seem impossible before. That quote alone made me think of power customization.

    I've wanted to do an all pet one before, but I do have a bot/trap that might be interested if the times were stated.
  8. Question though, what about slotting it into bonfire and using fire cages to fix the mob on to it or even Freezing Rain? Or is that just a waste as it doesn't work in pet/pseudo pet powers?
  9. If you don't mind doing things for no exp, Talos, IP and TV have both Freaks and DE. Plus you can still do scanner missions in IP and Talos for Lost which will turn into Rikti when lvl 30 or higher.
  10. I'm duoing a ice/em with my wife as a ice/nrg blaster and I'm loving even at lvl 10 how chilling embrace was holding aggro from her. With her doing all the dmg I guess I would focus on def and resistance, perhaps regen and recovery as well. What kind of thoughts and ideas do we have for that type of toon?

  12. Depending on how long you were in the game there were 3 Veteran Reward respecs that I know of and 2 freebies given away per character.
  13. This is what I would personally do with a respec. Claws come up fast enough that you do not need hasten at all. Others may have differences in what they would take and slot.

  17. Upon finding this wonderful thread I must say great kudos to you for writing this informative and witty guide. My wife and I duo a lot and create teams with synergy. I have attempted a Stone/Stone tanks numerous times and have deleted each time with frustration with staring at the floor instead of laughing at the ruffians.

    The resistance bubbles will come in real handy while the Disruption Field will make Mud Pots go from a ho hum power to watch them fall and fade.
  18. The usual set up for an attack goes something like this.

    Say it's a group of 8 Nemesis with 1 Fake in it and the rest a nice mixture. I target the boss and smoke the group. With steamy mist running I run into group, Thunder Clap to disorient then Cinders to keep them from wandering. Lightning Storm to creat a knockback effect usually right behind the Fake and then hit him with Snow Storm. Then follow with fire cages, freezing rain, char until the imps pimp slap them all down.

    Then again this was pre I5 the the imptastic army, I haven't had much of a chance to reslot since then.
  19. My first and only level 50 is a Fire/Storm troller. Igneous Storm, yeah really creative there. Took the energy pool for conserve energy. I didn't take hot feet or bonfire and really haven't played him hard core since issue 5 and the major pet changes.

    Brought him out to do some running around in PI and was able to take out 2 Zeus and an Ops without much trouble. Though I found out a Master Ill is still a problem and found myself staring at the pavement.

    I find myself using not only the flash fire/fire cages combo, but with smoke and steamy mist I also go for the thunder clap/cinders/lightning storm combo as well especially on bosses. Tornado comes out on bosses usually as well to create some havoc, which is really what makes this build so much fun. The slows, dizziness, knockbacks, total chaos and it's a blast.
  20. Ive only been in one other MMO but I would like to see some of the features that were nice for Guilds/SG there in here...

    1. Only one person can have the top leadership title
    1a. If that person has been inactive for 30 days s/he is demoted and the next active person in the rank below will get promoted.

    2. Promotions/Demotions while off line.

    3. Ability to change SG colors and Symbols.

    4. SG Alliance. I have friends in different SG's and would be better to just have a channel for group chatting. A friends list but for SGs. /sgfriend &lt;SG name here&gt;

    5. Do NOT and I mean never, increase the SG size. 75 is more then enough. Assuming the fact that eventually we'll have the ability to host SG Vs SG battles. Think about it, 150 people all on one map, powers flying everywhere, the sound, the lag, the carnage. Think how it was before the auto afk in PI and recently WL hunting anywhere. Most people do not have a computer that can keep up with that and I don't think the servers could as well.

    6. Guild Banks for Inf or Enhancements for transfer between people.

    7. Guild influence that would go towards SG bases, non refundable donations from SG members. Non refeundable to prevent stealing.

    8. SG web pages listing stats. Missions done, members, skills (for when they come out)

    9. Different Player name colors depending on the rank they are.
    9a. Outside of SG would have 2 colors. Member, and Leader.
    9b. Inside SG would have 3 colors. Member, Officer, Leader.

    10. Missions or Raids that are SG based. Make them like current missions where each has their own maps. Would prevent Uber guilds from Owning them and setting the rules for them. (Anyone a veteran from Earth and Beyond should remember that and the fun that it caused when Guilds set rules for the server)

    11. SG base raids purly optional.

  21. Currently I am a lvl 43 fire/storm troll. Imps are slotted 3 recharge and 3 damage and I am finding myself taking on quite a bit. I've managed to solo lvl 47 LT's and even lvl 47 Fake Nemesis
