Quote:I formed a Virgil Tarikoss SF in 3 minutes with /sea yesterday at 3:00PM EST.I'd suggest this if anyone actually used their LFT flags and if half the people playing didn't hide from search anyway.
Your best bet really is the right global channels.
Edit: All the people I recruited had their flag set. -
Quote:Kill the bots quicker so they don't build up.like you wont believe...the guards for the avs are very tohit capable.i said something to posi and the rest when i popped all those lucks and got no response to the incredible tohit value of these things..and literally there was only like 11 of them.
11 robots cut through over 200% defense..not to mention i had over 84% resistance
if ya aint done it then you'll be surprised on how little posi has made the tankers feel helpful in these trials. frankly it wasnt very fun at all. -
No word on fancy artwork for villains. Hiss.

Quote:And Paragon isn't busted up, in ruins, and an industrial craptown (King's Row)?I don't think either side is easier/harder.
They both have diffrent enemy groups which are of varying difficulty. They both have arcs with EBs. etc etc.
I personally prefer Hero side because its prettier than a run down industrial craptown. The real diffrence is in aesthetics, not difficulty.
I really liked some of the story arcs red side tho, thats the one big thing which tells the two apart, the old hero content is lacking compared to the newer villain stuff. But blueside is getting it more and more now and it doesn't feel as bad. Hero side still have some awesome arcs like freaklympcs
Oh look: Boomtown, Faultline, Hollows, Dark Astoria, King's Row -

Quote:Toxic - ArachnoidsI see no difference in difficulty between the two.
Heroes have to deal with heavy hitting toxic (Vahz), end draining (clockwork), severe to-hit debuffing (Circle of Thorns). Strong EB/AVs along their alternative content paths (Frostfire, Atta, Nocturne, Castillo, Sands) in the early going. This matches up as well or better than the early going in CoV.
The 20s are probably easier for heroes, but by the 30s I don't see any difference at all in difficulty.
End drain - Clocks barely drain endurance at all....
toHit debuff - rofl, these aren't duration powers. Just mez the mob with the aura and there is no problem. Night Widows are more of a problem because their smoke grenades last quite a while.
30s- Wailers, Carnies, Succubi -
Yes, and that is most definitely a good thing.

It would be fun to get mission teams that would ALL get merits from an arc, but if someone is below the level range, they would not be able to join in today's case. That means in a typical team you would be stuck doing only 20s or 30s arcs if you wanted to do ouro arcs instead of potentially higher level arcs if the leader was 50.

Take a look at my guide. It will tell you how to use /sea and gives you a nice macro.
Quote: Secondly, the macro (without quotes) is "/macro ask t $target, Hello, would you like to join ________"
A mission solo player WILL NOT be in yellow.
Edit: Keep in mind that /ttl : the Talk to Team Leader command is broken on Live but fixed in i20 thanks to me.... it took them way too long to fix it but they finally did. -

Quote:Well, WW gave me her word the devs will consider equity when adding content to any side of the game. I hope she keeps it.I told you in another thread last week that the Devs are far more likely going to be updating the older blueside TFs long before they'll bother with new redside content to "even out the numbers" between red and blue. It's nice to be proven right.
P.S. I'm not and never have been strictly -against- the idea of the redside getting more content eventually. I'm just mostly against people who whine about it so much because they think they are somehow entitled to it. *shrugs* -

Quote:No. I find it disappointing because I play Villains. Stupid devs.Am I the only one who finds this to be very disappointing, and a bit of a disservice? For a game that touts customization, saying "Oh, you can't have a street clothe wearing hero, it's not heroic." strikes me as being a big mistake.
Heroes can be caught offguard, or maybe not have time to get into their costume. We have Pocket D and Studio 55 for roleplaying, there are characters that aren't spandex clad heroes, that street clothing would suit, it would suit villains to for similar reasons.
Also, if street clothes 'aren't very heroic', then what the hell, Party Pack? How heroic is dancing like Michael Jackson, or bouncing a basketball? -
I hope you are adding something to redside to balance the time spent focusing on the CTF.

Devs hate Villains and Heroes equally. <3. Now THAT is equity.
