  1. I hope the Paragon team let's us know ASAP as to when they expect the release of FREEDOM! I am getting some interest from friends and hope to scoop them up but their time is limited sooooooooooooo I want to hook them before that other new game hits the shelves....you know...the one from a galaxy far, far away.....

Mind you, we all may just go there if the content quality/interest doesn't pick up
  2. I find it very annoying that the game does not give us previews of the items we can purchase and that holds true yet again. I have no idea what some of the chest emblems look like or a number of other items. I don't grind the trials so I have to watch what I buy. Ugh.

The new trial seems less fun than the other two and we are, again, flooded with the same old NPCs as the last two. Ugh again. Are ALL trials going to revolved around Praetoria???

Some nice QoL ideas here. Unfortunately there is little else to do here. When the F2P-ish stuff takes place, I hope they actually deliver so new, unique, original content. This game is 7+ years old but there isn't much unique and different content; this fact has turned away many friends so here's to a change in content philosophy.

    New Lore Pets

Ok so we can't color our actual pets but can we change the colors on storm pet? A purple storm?? Really?? Can we get some more 'normal' colors on those?

  5. I watched a couple of these and I was done. No significant info cuz we can't tell yet blah blah blah. Much like most of their info sessions...it had no meat to it. So, I stopped watching them. It is nice to see some of the community watch and post the info in a nice neat form. By looking at some of the community info posts, I see there is not much useful info relayed in a 60 min UStream chat.
  6. I think the best thing the devs can do is give ALL players better content. Stop with the repetition and the re-hash...that isn't new or different than what we've been doing for years. It might help if you would fix some of the original TFs as those will be some of the things many new players will see first; not the best first impression by this game nor does it represent the game very well.
  7. I think it is a good idea but then I listened to today's ustream. Are they actually thinking of charging people for powers (not like ninja run or self destruct but ATs and their powers)?? That is concerning.

I hope the new content is not a re-hash of what we already have (like they've been doing for years). They also promise way more content but that is pointless if it's just the same crap in a new wrapper.

Anyway, there's a Star Wars game on the horizon and if this game doesn't deliver with FREEDOM (and the promised ton of new content etc) then it might be time to leave the City.

Yes, you can all have my stuff if that happens. Just wait here
  8. This game is highly repetitive. I stopped playing a bit ago and I'm waiting for 20.5. Any part of the game is pretty much as repetitive in its own way. Constant use of the same few maps; radio/paper missions are often almost exactly the same except for some dialogue/background; much of the older content is the same.

After 7 years you'd think the devs would learn Well, I think they may have a bit by putting out more trials/raids. If there was more variety and options to 'level' your 50 it'd be cool (I can't believe Apex and Tin Mage TF don't reward a reduced amount of iXP). Anyway, things are a bit slow coming for this game and that may cost them as many of my SG mates are on breaks again.

Anyway, I agree, it is a grind and this game often feels like a grind. Take a break or quit is the obvious solution. The devs don't seem to listen to us too much

In review, I don't think it would have but the refs inconsistency drives many fans crazy. The NHL made efforts to get rid of the clutch, grab etc in the 90's. For some reason it has crept back into the playoffs. The Bruins knew this and used it and it threw some Canucks off their game. It is too bad because hockey can be a beautiful thing to watch. The playoff version is good but a high speed, free wheeling gaming with skill is amazing

I think the Canucks had a very good chance to win the Cup in game 6. They played well and had Thomas somewhat figured out. Unfortunately, Roberto let almost anything beat him and that killed us.

Are you commenting on my post just above? I really hope not cuz if you are, you may want to learn how to read

I didn't blame the refs. The NHL playoffs are officiated differently than the regular season. It is unfortunate because the playoff games can often become a grind and it isn't as fun to watch. Playoff time gets a lot of exposure but the games aren't all that entertaining so I would prefer to see the same officiating all season long and not have a different version in the playoffs. It would result in a much better product

Unfortunately, in the NHL, the refs call the playoffs differently than the regular season. This is obvious. I think many Canucks fans are frustrated because the refs 'let them play'. This type of reffing favors the larger Bruins team. We all knew this going in and unfortunately it happened again. I don't think the NHL will fix this. I also think Boychuk should have been suspended for the hit on Raymond. It was an illegal hit and caused a major injury; the NHL has set a precedent on handing out punishments based on injuries.

The Canucks are a skilled team with some size and grit. Injuries got to us, we lost some of our better players, overplayed our core and then the larger Bruins team wore us down in the finals. Not a huge shock. That's the NHL. That is why the Stanley Cup is the toughest trophy to win in all of sports.

Congrats, Boston. You wanted it more in the last two games.
Not sure why they booed Buttman???? Are you serious??? It is obvious you're not a die-hard hockey fan. Buttplug has been bad for the game. The only reason he is around is because of his awful little deals to get the owners money. Their stupidity hasn't allowed them to see how they are ruining the actual product. I am happy to see the little gnomes schemes blow up in his face recently (multiple teams in the assistance program which causes clubs to subsidize the troubled franchises; adding a lot of teams to non-hockey markets; all but being forced to move a team back to Canada and will likely have to move more up here because of the struggling U.S. economy etc etc etc). Make no mistake about it, my furry little friend, Gary Buttgoblin is one of the most despised people in the NHL when it comes to the opinion of true NHL fans.

You will also notice most of the fans stayed in the stadium and cheered for the Bruins, Tim Thomas etc. We know our hockey and have very good fans.

On that note, I hope people read about these disgusting riots. It is sad and if you read the reports you will see the riots were started by 'professional rioters'. They have already been identified as the same anarchist group that tried to start up trouble at the 2010 Olympics. Unfortunately, mob mentality took over and a lot of others joined the chaos. The whole thing literally brought a tear to my eye.

The police and emergency services did a great job but when you have 100 000 people in a small, insulated area it is tough to get involved. This is an amazing city and I have no idea why we're targeted by these idiots. Multiple reports indicate they saw people heading downtown with signs reading: welcome to the 2011 Riots.

It was a great year for the Canucks and it is awful we had to finish it on this type of note.
  13. I hate to say it but the Canucks might be in tough tomorrow. They are ravaged by injury and the refs aren't calling the Bruins on their rough/after whistle crap. I am getting nervous! Game 7, here we come!!!!

Why would you bring up the Maple Laughs? Wow. Stop trying to kill the joy! PLEASE! With all due respect, they are one of the worst teams out there. One of the main reasons I rarely watch Hockey Night in Canada. Ugh.

This speaks for itself. I know it's a reaction, but you've just shown with this choice in emphasis that a lack of class is a unifying trait that can be shared by fans of all teams.
Well, yes, we just came into the league but for someone to poke fun in that earlier manner seems off when the team just got into the league. Ah well.

I was a bit shocked that a Boston restaurant would refuse service to anyone wearing Canucks gear. THAT is just wrong. I'm not too concerned about how anyone reads my emphasis...not in the slightest

Sometimes I think people really lose perspective. Sure, be passionate about your team etc but at the end of the day is it going to drastically change your life? Probably not. You didn't play in the game and didn't impact the result. I was sickened by that San Fransisco Giants fan who was beaten almost to death at an LA Dodgers game . Vancouver had riots after the Finals in 1994 and there are countless other incidents that go on in sports where fans react in such ways. I hope it's a good finale to the Cup run and we can all play nice (well, kinda nice ).

Oh, and here are some reports regarding more of the clASS displayed in Boston by the Bruins fans:

Also, here's another little tune that some nutty Nucks fan put together. It's a parody of THAT song! haha

Ya the last time the Bruins won there was no such thing as the Vancouver Canucks lol I am guessing you weren't around for the last time Boston won the Cup

Great game on Friday night! Tense with some great plays! Roberto was back on his game and rocked it. I hope he's in the zone and that we can take it on Monday!

Oh, and here is some Boston clASS lol

No for ancient Japan zone. I would prefer something more cosmic, epic etc. More super and less D&D

Yeah no. It includes issues. How many people do you think they would retain if they didn't add new content or added new content and charged for it (in addition to the sub. fee). It is basic business. You can't honestly think they are giving us 'free' issues??? Really??? Boosters supplement the income and add to their profit etc (no idea how much of that extra income is pumped back into the game).

Anyway, Steampunk pack didn't offer much I liked so I passed on it. They charge too much for the boosters and I stopped getting them; I also think the last bunch have lacked and were of poor quality (especially the martial arts one with the warrior pads etc).
  20. The new costume pieces etc look decent (from what I could see in the pics). I also agree with having special to unlock when you are an incarnate. It may have been better served if you got something as you unlocked your alpha slot of along those lines.

I guess using incarnate salvage/drops to purchase pieces is ok as long as the price is NOT insanely high.

I hope the devs can understand the repetition of these trials is killing us...it is killing ME! Stop making us grind like gold farmers. Stop it before we begin to hate this game!!! I am sure, one day, we will have other things to do that provide us with irewards. I am sure it won't be soon and I am not cool with this trial grind to earn the salvage etc.

The i21 stuff probably has other ways to earn irewards but that probably won't come out until August or so. Hopefully it isn't a zone where you get a new version or radio/door missions and get to grind out rewards. I pray it is new and innovative stuff in i21.

I will also note that I do not like the unlock idea at all but it seems like the devs do (has history taught you nothing?).
  21. Whatever the new zone is, I am guessing it will reward iXP so the solo players can get some. I am also hoping they let TFs reward iXP as and iSalvage. Trials run lots now but it might be tough to get those rolling down the road - they require more people! It would be nice to see the ability to do cross-server trials etc. That would alleviate any concern over getting enough players.

    Daaaaaaaang.
He also would not let people discuss the villain side of this game. That 'leader' (not the proper term but what he should really be called would get me banned) has no clue. I seriously think he has some kind of mental health issue or a head injury.

    This.

Many of us are educating the recruits on there and informing them of the leader's tactics. He is beyond unbelievable. I think anyone who ends up staying with them is just asking for it. I have witnessed some unreal acts of cruelty by them and I am sad to see the game has not banned their leader - he is the real problem. Some SG members are decent folks but their way and leader have long overstayed their welcome. I really hope, one day, the devs do something about them.
  24. I think it is obvious the trials are a HUGE grind. Even if they added like 5 more it wouldn't be a big help. It is tough to get enough people in for trial teams. They are fun but not if you have to do them all the time!!!

So, maybe we can get iXP and incarnate drops doing other level 50+ content. Specifically Tin Mage and Apex TFs. Reduce the amount of iXP you earn but let us earn SOME. Also a few incarnate salvage drops would be nice along the way.

The trials are a fun alternative to what we have in game but not when you have to grind them out over and over. I am also hoping you guys stop attaching Praetoria to our path to becoming an Incarnate. Give us some OTHER events/factions etc. Hopefully that is the plan for some of the Incarnate slots....
