I don't mind an updated look, but they don't look quite that wizard-y now. Needs moar robes in addition to what's there.
And the heads of those LTs look humongous in comparison to the rest of their bodies. -

Quote:We've got the mask pattern already, just so ya know.I agree I would like to see a few new tights options, the couple I would like to see the most are:
1.) 50/50 1st Half one Color other Half 2nd Color (Mask, Chest, Gloves, Pants, Boots)
2.) Left and Right - Single & Double Off Center Pin Stripe (Chest, Pants, Boots)
a.) I know that's more like 4 options (Left Double Pin, Left Single Pin, Right Double Pin, Right Single Pin) The possibilities for different pin stripe options could be quite vast, as I can think of several off the top of my head. (Lightning, Flames, Circuitry, Shred, Dotted, Dashes, Tribal, & Celtic)
Quote:Lastly it would be nice if we could choose to have the chest detail smaller and on one side of the chest or the other. Kinda like how Jackets have it, only upgraded with an option to be on left or right side. -
Ahh, Photon; if you want to give that char a bit more of an Arachnos styling, you can try rerolling him as Safety Operative Steve...

Just speculating, but I'm guessing the by the way the design process works, the concepts for both costume sets were probably settled on at around the same time.

Quote:The issue seems to be that your version of 'quick and to the point' is of you making fairly strong and broad assertions that aren't backed up by any kind of explanation of your opinions.Every post I make? I don't think I've had enough open discourse with anyone in this thread for such a conclusion to be made. I tend to be very blunt when I write posts. It's not intended to be rude, just quick and to the point. Apologies if I've ruffled any feathers, genuinely wasn't my intention.
To most folks, that just looks like trolling and/or unwarranted stubbornness. -
Quote:I think my framerate is going to choke on that map. We'll see.A little, yeah.... The underground looks like a gorgeous map. 'Hope we have time to get a good look at everything while we're running the trial, instead of having to rush past it all. It looks like a lot of detail went into it, and it would be a shame to have to ignore all that because we're on a short timer or something.

what
Someone showed me some angel critter from the Diablo series. I'd have to guess it was close? I haven't seen the Celestial wings in action.
There can be only certain things in comic books? Please elaborate. -
Quote:The CoL might be borrowing some folks for training from the Resistance. DeVore works for both, after all.First Ward looks cool. Are the mobs in black with the runes and guns also Carnival of Light?
Quote:Shivan in the Underground Trial?
Quote:Praetorian Devouring Earth look like Primal which is a shame.
Quote:Not entirely sure I like the visuals of Time Manipulation. Just looks a bit generic to me.
Defence set looks generic, IDF will be useful. -

Quote:Magic and such never really died out, per se, but they were nowhere near as prominent until Cole and Richter cracked open the Well on Praxidae. Before then, the Oranbegans were still trapped in their city under the east coast, really raunchy, city-wide raves were being held in western Europe, mystical priests wandered the world, banishing evil, some wierd fish cult popped up from time to time in various parts of the world, Union soldiers were fighting mad cultists and some nutty Prussian royal fought General Sherman for kicks.Never had a problem with orgin of power arc. Mutants didn't come about untill 1963 (or whenever) doesn't bother me, but yeah, people want to play those 1000 year old mutants.
Of course, hasn't it always been known that powers/magic has been dead for quite awhile/non exisistent untill Statesman and Recluse came about? Not that it never existed, just that it was dormat for a very very long time.
So seeing people say "Oh, I'm a dragon and have been around active for 1000 years" has always made me go... o.O
Or other such D&D style creatures that have been walking about and living in the world.
Man, now you can't swing a dead catgirl around without smacking some fallen deity from another plane or a wizard who's a living conduit to the thaumaverse or something. -
Quote:The Well currently chooses Tyrant as its champion and defender because it believes him to best represent its own interests. Usually, that's just power, but right now, it's also unification by any means to stand against a great threat; in Tyrant's case, it's Hamidon and, to some extent, human nature itself; in The Well's case, it's the Coming Storm. The Well is consicous, but most of the time directionless, giving power to those who are strong enough to claim it. But recently something 9we don't know what) has happened to cause The Well to have a direction. It wants a champion (possibly to defend itself against The Coming Storm ) and has chosen Cole, giving him huge amounts of power. I believ the current plan (as decided by Prometheus and Ouro) is to defeat Cole, showing The Well it made the wrong choice and hopefully... um... shocking it back to sanity? I'm not too clear on that bit.
According to Prometheus, Tyrant is really just a chump compared to whatever the Coming Storm will bring. The current objective of the supers of Primal Earth is to strike down Tyrant, lowering his status in the eyes of The Well, and hopefully encouraging it to choose a new champion. The objective after that is to defeat all of The Well's successive choices until it finally gets the picture and chooses the defenders of Primal Earth as its champions; we have to look after our own interests, after all.
Only when The Well relents and gives us full access to its power without forming a direct link with it will we actually have the power we need to fight the Coming Storm. -

Quote:For example, Requiem himself compared to a high-level 5th Column soldier.Average contact/civilian NPCs are typically about 6'4" for males, and 6'0" for females, give or take a few inches. Of course, certain enemies are ridiculously tall, like the Council soldiers, while other contacts were probably made with realistic heights, causing them to look puny compared to the average NPC.
Ridiculous. -
