  1. I don't see many non Plant/Thorn Dominator's on the whole.

    AR / Eng

I recently made and AR/Energy Blaster and it's fast becoming the most fun build I've played.
  3. Energy and MA are both ace. My advice would be to go with whatever set you like the look of, or fits your concept best.

    Sirens

I don't think there's a problem with Siren's the way it is even though I think the original poster's idea's are interesting. If more people actually fought there rather than b*tching it might make it more fun for everyone involved.

As opposed to NPCs assisting the side that is overwhlemed by the numbers maybe making `pets` avilable for the underdogs would work

    [/ QUOTE ]

I know that having npc gangs fighting would add more atmosphere for me, than having temp power snowman or like fighting my cause.

Raise lvl cab from lvl 30 to lvl 32

Although I'd love to use my last primary power and would be fun because more people would have pets, I thinking maybe the reason they did it is so 8 man teams of Blasters don't constantly have Nova ready or the like.

in that if a player positions him or herself by a Warden you'll probably charge in knowing you can't get debt.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's the ideea, players to stop using npcs as cover. I come to sirens to fight players not overpowered wardens that give leadership buffs, heal or debuff me.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The point is you are still fighting the player. It still surprise's me how many player's wish pvp to become a battle of statisics and slotting. Don't run. Don't hide. Don't use that Warden to heal you. Don't use that Blue Ink Man to debuff your enemy.

    1) I think you stop gaining xp when you hit a certain lvl not long after the lvl limit, or perhaps it's the lvl limit itself. I think they should leave debt in if you happen to be defeated by npc's, as otherwise you could mass infamy/influence absolutely risk free. It adds to the danger too which I like and tactics also; in that if a player positions him or herself by a Warden you'll probably charge in knowing you can't get debt. I was for no debt for a while in pvp zones for the reason that it may make the atmosphere 'friendlier', but don't think in the long run that will stop people's temper's flaring if they are heading that way anyway.

    2) I like this idea. The odd mob gets mixed up in the two sides battle a lot of times, esspecially at the point where one hotspot is, as lots of Tsoo seem to hang there. But it would be neat if occasionally you got Warriors or Tsoo pounding on the winning side because they also want control of the zone.

    3)Sounds Interesting.

Got my SS/Invun Brute up to 20 this evening and took him into pvp and I must say they are great fun to play in pvp. I think the experience was helped by the atmosphere of people who actually wanted to pvp rather than do the broadcast thing too.

I've played a Stalker since early pvp and as much as I love stalking I think I had more fun tonight than I have since I started pvping in CoX. There's nothing quite like running in slow motion due to debuffs towards your target even though your in the red
  11. Regen's loveliness appeared to me when I stumbled across the Adamaster and went one on one with him. Didn't beat him, but he didn't beat me. We parted ways, be it with Smoking's tail gone

The absolutle best Dark/Dark guide (It's written about Defenders, but most of the stuff in it applies to Corruptors too) is Blackest Nights which can be found here.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Excellent guide.
  13. I only truly realised Dark Miasma's real power when in Croatoa and found myself holding my own against 2 Cabal boss, 4 LT's and 5+ minions. That was post ED. Although the effects and pyrotechnics may not be as obvious as some other sets, rest assured an experienced Dark/Dark Defender or Corruptor won't go down easy.

I've also had the day from hell (top tip, when running into a card shop 2 minutes before catching a train and filling out the card and unwrapping the cuddly toy ready to deposit the morning of valentines day, make sure the card does NOT say "to my girlfriend" when giving it to your wife and ideally the cuddly toy should not be a pitbull with boxing gloves on - the day only got worse if you can believe that

    LMAO.
  15. Many congratulations to my shiny old deviant friend and a first rate healer. First rate healer being someone who can press binds inbetween predictive healing
  16. Like Bloodrush says though, sometimes it's best to take a break from a character, then when you come back to them you enjoy playing them more.
  17. I'm not a Ninja Stalker myself, but I personally slot AS for damage first off and then when you can use SO's (Single Origin Enhancements) I use 3 SO's for damage which brings me up to 100% or there abouts and 3 accurcy SO's. I slot Placate with recharge and all my other attacks with damage/accuracy enhancements in equal measure. Probably worth putting one or two Endurance enhancement's on your toggle defender powers to help against too much end drain.

I'm not an expert, and there are many who know lots of good stuff about builds, but I thought I'd reply before your post slipped...don't want you thinking we an uncaring lot
  18. Also at 32 you get one of the coolest moves in the game, Eagle's Claw. You starting to get close to St Martial too, which I think is not only one of the best zones in CoX, but also has brilliantly written missions.
  19. Congrats!

Are you the one btw whose character watched Jumanji too many times? If so I cracked up when I read your bio way back when.
  20. Stalker currently, but becoming bored of it, esspecially with God know's how many people building Stalker's mainly for pvp. I'm having fun with my Brute atm, so will bring him into pvp when he gets in the mid 20's.

Is TF critical random? Thus it can occur outside hide status aswell as within the hidden status- As with the likes of golden dragonfly, eviscerate, and "i think" eagles claw...Or does it just always critical from hide?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I sometimes get double critials, esspecially with Eagle's Claw, which has a higher chance to hit critial than other attacks even if the enemy is not held. I'm going to respec in the Martial Arts punch attack soon (can't remember what the move is called atm), as I am hoping to disorient an enemy so I hopefully get more doubles with Eagle's Claw.
  22. FF works very nice with Energy and more importantly the blasts look bubbly!

Wow, I didn't know that. Nice inherent power.
