Aw, thank you guys!
What a lovely poem. Very thought-provoking. Believe me when I say this has not only been a great year for art, but a great year in general for me regarding 'stuff City of Heroes has brought me.'* I will be forever grateful.
*Among other things, Vegemite -
Congrats on a great couple piece! I love those...

Not asking for art since lord knows I have plenty, but just wanted to say it's very cool of you to do this. That first piece of gift art is sooo cool! Great idea and may your art karma come back to you threefold.

Woot! Grats!
(Texas Death Toll, eh? What is it with Texans and Aussies? It's like a match made in heaven. A very hot heaven filled with poisonous critters.) -
I already said it elsewhere, but yay crossover awesomeness!

Yay! Crossover awesomeness!
That is so much fun. They all look like they're having a blast. Love the use of color to make the two main characters 'pop' out from the crowd. You filled up the picture without making it feel crowded, well-composed!
The truck is a great whimsical touch. -

From that day on she became known to all Allied pilots as The Masked Shreitch.
Hope I did The Masked Shrike some justice.

Wow, that's swell! Thank you so much! You're totally psychic, by the way. I made Shrike's Praetorian counterpart based on Hannah Reitsch and she looked a LOT like that. Great choice on the colors, the face and the overall look. And wonderful work on the bio--great concept, well written!
And thanks for the kind words
I'll get on my assignment as soon as I can get CoH up and running on my laptop, or my PC gets back from the shop. Hopefully tomorrow! -

I have a character based on a song from the movie Heavy Metal. Does that count?

Hells yeah! It's your one way ticket to midnight . . .
Let's see her. (it's the booby girl right?)

Alas, no, I based my psychic blaster on Veteran of the Psychic Wars by BOC. Love that song! Armored boobies only. I'll try and take some screenies when I get my dang computer out of the shop :P She actually had a companion on Victory named Radar Rider. Also a good song from Heavy Metal. -

Congrats! Now get to work so we can see the finished piece, you slackers

I can't say how much I love this. Frankly, I loved the 'sketch' and never expected more. This is just so polished. I think of it as 'Up Against the Wall.' Love the lighting and the gold of the wall. Thank you so much for taking it to another level
-
Well, it hardly needs to be said, but I of course withdraw the Shrike from the list! Seeing as how she already got the chance to hang out with Gray Huntress
Good luck to everyone, I can't wait to see the finished product. I adore crossovers. -
That's really a beauty. I dig the light effects especially. But then I am a sucker for wings and shiny swirly light.
-
That's amazing. Gorgeous work, and really something to treasure. Congratulations!
-
It's the Shrike who is honored to be alongside Gray Huntress! (Not that she'd ever admit it, of course, not with her ego.)
Thank you so much, Gray, for having this done. It's swell! I am thrilled to have my girl in your gallery -
Must agree, Pane did some beautiful work for you, and this last one is really special. Great additions!
-
That's one heck of a pose, LJ. And again you prove the master of dramatic fabric. Colors are amazing too, perfect mood for this piece. Bravo!
-
Great stuff! I love character crossovers, can't wait to see it done!
-
Great stuff! I really like the lighting and the colors. And the details on the weapons really are well-done. Great choice on background, too.
-
More great stuff, Gray. I don't think I can say more about Mabel than has been said. That piece of Demon Trix is really fine, the style is well-suited to the character. Congrats on more excellent additions!

My main/signature character, Masked Shrike, is a hero. Honestly, I have very few villains and none that I actually play. Just not my cup of tea.
