Just got done burning a mix CD of old school metal songs.

Let's see your Heavy Metal / Rocker toons! Don't have any, myself, maybe ya'all can inspire me.

Hm, I have a raver named Jello Shot, but no heavy metal inspired toons...

My friend Mindscythe does I think, but of course I don't have a screenie.

Not metal, but my girlfriend made a punk robot called Johnny Robotten.

She's an awesome robochick.

I haven't actually had a pure metal character since Beta, where I had an invulnerablity scrapper named Anker Steadfast. I used to go under that forum name too, but that account is now a long time inactive.

I still have a name holder character I haven't used since the first month after launch.

Oooo love that movie, saw it in theaters when I was a kid, got the buttons for it at a convention before it even came out... dragged my cousin to see it at his college screening years after it had been out.

My favorite song from that film is "Veteran of the Psychic Wars" - check out this acoutsitc cover... even this band can't mess it up. lolol

I have Rocker Girl. she's a /stone brute... get it?

Probably my other "most metal/rocker" character is None More Black. This character answers the question "what if Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap had super powers?"

Mouse Police, Serpentine Fire, Terra Nova Cain, Deadheart, Jennie Bomb and Nina Ballerina are all named after songs... just not heavy metal songs. (Well... Jennie Bomb is named after a cd by Sahara Hotnights, which itself is kind of a takeoff of the song Cherry Bomb by The Runaways I think (featuring Joan Jett and Lita Ford!) So that probably counts.)

My Burning Bride is sort of named after My Dying Bride. Real MacKenzie is kind of named after/inspired by the band The Real McKenzies. Thin Lizzy is of course taken from the name of the band. Hydrogyn is taken from a very good female-fronted hard rock band. but I don't like that character's current look. (Hydrogyn's original video for the song, which is probably NSFW.)

I also think Tanker of Rum should get a mention. Sure he's a pirate, but have you never heard of Pirate Metal? (Johnny Depp has a lot to answer for.) ^_^

(Oh yeah... my only published MA arc "None More Black" is about a heavy metal band, not directly related to the above Tufnel character though.) ^_^

Alas, no, I based my psychic blaster on Veteran of the Psychic Wars by BOC. Love that song! Armored boobies only. I'll try and take some screenies when I get my dang computer out of the shop :P She actually had a companion on Victory named Radar Rider. Also a good song from Heavy Metal.
