Quote:Yes...! Swamp Bug/Purple Nebula (or P. Nebby as I liked to call him) was awesome. He showed me the ropes when if first came to Virtue and I'll never forget him. I spent a ton of time with him until he moved on to The Matrix Online - where he became a legend there as well.Swamp Bug, one of the very first I teamed with back in the day.
He was awesome. -
I was also there last night. Spent about 4 hours in RV. Had a great time.

The event is just a few days away, make sure you have the time and date marked down somewhere - this won't be something you want to miss!

After the amazing turnout we had last time, I have nothing but high expectations for this! It should be fun. The RPvP element adds to my excitement even more
Redside needs bodies, so if you've got a villain don't hesitate to come smash us.
And Remember: RPvP is about having fun and telling a story though comic book battles. It has nothing to do with actual PvP builds or skills. It's just about fun!! -
Yeah I'm anxious to see the next throwdown.

Got a lvl 15 brute to 50.
Got a lvl 1 blaster to 30.
all in AE with no DXP. -
I love to run the rafters so I'm outta the way.

If this is at all possible it's worth being looked into.
(waits for someoene to tell him about the devs priorities) -

A lot of awesome idea here.
My dream would be Golden Age, Silver age and Modern Age packs released this year.
This thread so far has all the ideas needed to make it happen David. Here's hoping that it does! -
Quote:RPvP when it happens it insanely fun, and usually a large group of people is involved. I've never been interupted, usually because I'm standing alongside a huge group of heroes or villains.Yeah RP PvP wont lend itself well to zones, if I see two people RP fighting in the zone and throwing attacks about as often enough to be regenerated before the next attack I would laugh.
I've participated in, and also ran several events and never had an issue with griefers. If you're an outsider looking to grief, chances are you'll get wrecked.
That's not really how it even happens. There is some typing, but not huge paragraphs. And most is done in broadcast. It's an all out brawl. And It's very fun - win or lose. -
Quote:Very true. I've seen some sore losers. But it's not about winning or losing, it's about telling a story and fighting real villains, and having a real nemesis rather than some npc's and mobs. What Red said.
Although it's important to point out that some of RPers just don't like PVP. (Their uber powerful character concepts don't tend to translate well into it.)
It's a ton of fun, and I encourage more people to try it out. -
Usually what happens is that people (myself included) will hold Server-Wide RPvP events. That's more or less the only time it happens.
They have been pretty epic.
You can read about some of them here under the "Assaults" section: http://virtueverse.net/wiki/Sadistic_Seven -
What a totally kick *** party. Entirely full zone, and judging by the cape website attendence peaked at 80 or so people.
Great time! -
In my experience, right clicking and adding a waypoint to the teammate on your team list (even while they are phased) works.

damn that's a lotta influence being given out.
And winning an H60 for free? Gotta say that is pretty badass. Hope to see a lot of people there. Best of luck to everyone!
