That's exactly what I did when I saw it was available on Gamestop.ca, really wish I hadn't done that about now. :P
-
I had pre-ordered the complete collection from the Gamestop.ca as soon as I saw that it had shown up on the Canadian store with the pre-order bonus, so about mid-July. Unsurprisingly, I'm in the same boat as you guys who pre-ordered it from a brick and mortar Gamestop/EBGames in Canada.
The lack of communication and the lack of an answer from the both times I've called Gamestop have been very frustrating. As of right now, the Gamestop.ca page for Going Rogue still lists it as shipping today, but I really doubt that'll actually happen.
I understand that this isn't necessarily Paragon Studios' or NCSoft's fault, but seeing as how they partnered with Gamestop on this promotion, I think many of us would really appreciate something from them on this issue. Even a "we're looking into it" message would be great. -
I'm hoping the additional +End and +Recovery will help balance out the endurance issues. I'm currently running him with only one SO for end redux in that power and with only Stamina and Physical Perfection for recovery, so it shouldn't be too much more of a problem. And when things get iffy, I'll have Conserve Power to fall back on.
Anyways, thanks again for your input, it's been much appreciated. -
Quote:Defense debuffs were my concerns, specifically, as well as just what 45% defense would mean against a +4 AV. A bit more research and your assurances have cleared that up, thank you! What specifically are you concerned about? You're soft-capped with one foe in range, so you'll have 45% defense when facing a AV without minions. And defense above 45% won't help you against them unless they debuff your defense. (Which is why it's such a good reason to take RPD and Tough Hide, since between them you'll have a fair amount of def debuff resistance.)
Playing with the build you suggested a bit, and going off of some advice from some friends, this is a modified build we've come up with - I'd love any further thoughts you may have!

Thanks Finduilas, that build does seem a fair bit more well-rounded. I've run the tank to 50 without Rage, didn't miss it before, but I didn't take into account the loss of effectiveness from the IO slotting.
I have to wonder though, with just barely hitting the softcap, how will that hold up against Lord Recluse, or even Romulus? -
Hello!
Last night my Invulnerability/Super Strength Tanker hit 50 (my first Tanker to do so), and now I plan on IO-ing him out and turning him into a machine of survivability by hitting the defense softcap on as many damage types as I can manage, with a lesser focus on Regeneration. In the end, I'd like him to be built for tanking the tough challenges like Lord Recluse on MoSTF runs, but also be great for general play (and Hamidon raids).
This is the build I've cobbled together, I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions you guys might have in improving it.

Is this still going on? I sent an e-mail to the address as directed, but it was bounced. I sent a PM to Avatea, but I'm not sure if that's right, either.
Any guidance would be appreciated.Thanks!

Awesome! Really looking forward to testing out the Kheldian changes.
*hopes for some TA buffs, as well* -
Keep getting an error upon trying to purchase:
"We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again later or tomorrow. If you continue to have problems, you may wish to visit one of our retail partners."
-
At level 10, you can get radio missions (and the Safeguard missions after doing enough) in Steel Canyon or Skyway City as well, so you can get the Zero-G pack there.
It doesn't matter in which zone you talk to the Detective or enter the Safeguard - all that matters is the zone the Safeguard takes place in.
Atlas Park (5-10) - Raptor Pack
Kings Row (10-15) - Zero-G Pack
Skyway City (15-20) - Self-Rez Power
Steel Canyon (20-25) - Group Recall
etc.
The only constraining zone is for the first Safeguard in Atlas Park, which can only be worked on in King's Row, as no other pre-10 zone has a Detective.
Also note that at level 10, 15, 20, etc, you have a chance of getting either Safeguard - the levels aren't completely clear cut, so at level 10 you may be given the Atlas Park Safeguard again instead of the King's Row one. -

Had an interesting thing last night. We killed romy out of los from the nictus. He did not res. And yes the ambush returns to is spawn loctation
[/ QUOTE ]
My team saw this yesterday, as well.
Another thing we noticed - the area stun that occurs when you destroy a Nictus or Romulus rezzes is dependant on Line of Sight of the nictus.
One more little thing, for those that are worried about it, you don't get any reward for killing the Nictus, but you do get a reward for each time you kill Romulus. -

Really great guide! I'm now on my fourth attempt at a TA/*, going with TA/A this time and hit 27 last night, and thoroughly loving it! Your guide has been invaluable in my undertstanding of the powers and tactics.
One tiny little thing I noticed in your guide... You suggested a Range or To-Hit Debuff enhancement in Flash Arrow if you're leaving it with just the default slot, but Flash Arrow does not accept Range Enhancements.
That's all! Thanks again for the great guide! -
Could this possibly be expanded to include supergroup stats, such as an auto-updating roster viewable offline?
That would be truly awesome! -
The Ultra-Rare sets are exemplar friendly, with the set bonuses continuing to affect you no matter how low you go.

The Kaotix are a group of friendly, mature (18+ only) individuals who enjoy the many parts of City of Heroes, from the normal aspects of the game to the roleplaying, and the social aspect of being in a supergroup.
On the roleplaying side, we offer a continuing story, and interesting events. As the Kaotix continues to grow, the roleplay aspect will become more important, with more events taking place.
We also have a dedicated Ventrilo server, and active and fun forums, not to mention a base and a great coalition, which means access to almost zone in Paragon City through either our teleporters or our allies'.
We're looking for new members of all experience levels and archetypes who are looking for a group of fun, dedicated players to hang out with.

But while they have left most of their past behind, their past isn't yet done with them...
