Let's fix Paragon Wiki re/ Raptor Pack and Zero-G

I figured I'd start a new thread on this, instead of thread-jacking.

I helped 2 trial accounts get the Raptor Pack. We did this in Kings Row, 100% certainly. Paragon Wiki has this as Atlas Park. In-game, I asked one of the senior players about this, and they said "no the first 1 is in KR". So, did it change???

I can fix Paragon Wiki once I get a definitive answer here. I'm sure the Raptor Pack is King's Row, but...

Who knows for sure (like recent experience) where the Zero-G and Self-Rez come from. I think one is Skyway and the other is Steel, since I have both, and I don't remember doing safeguards in any other zone.

Reason I'm asking: the guide here, and Paragon Wiki, both have the Raptor Pack in Atlas Park. Either that has changed, or something else is going on (like they're given by level, or by order of doing them, not by zone?? -- don't think so though).

In-game, a couple of 50s who hang out under Atlas said "Naw, there isn't one in AP". Plus, I FOR SURE did it in KR with a couple trial acct ppl, and they got the Raptor Pack.

I'd like to be able to tell them where to go for the Zero-G. Paragon Wiki lists that as KR, which I now know is incorrect. To my flakey recollection, I think the Zero-G is Skyway and the self-rez is Steel.

If I don't get an answer here, I'll find an adventurous person to exemp with and run the Skyway and Steel to find out...

The mission takes places in the Atlas Park map, which is what the wiki is trying to say. You're correct that you get to the mission from King's Row.

The common convention is to reference Safeguard's by which map is loaded.

I think that's confusing people, frankly. I can try to word it differently, so it's more clear, like stating where it's given and what instanced map is used.

Both are done by radios in KR.
Raptor pack for atlas safeguard. Min lvl 5

Zero-G for King Row safeguard Min lvl 10.
Mind you can do at lvl 1 if wanted to but you would not get the temp travel power.

Again both contacts are detective in Kings Row

At level 10, you can get radio missions (and the Safeguard missions after doing enough) in Steel Canyon or Skyway City as well, so you can get the Zero-G pack there.

It doesn't matter in which zone you talk to the Detective or enter the Safeguard - all that matters is the zone the Safeguard takes place in.

Atlas Park (5-10) - Raptor Pack
Kings Row (10-15) - Zero-G Pack
Skyway City (15-20) - Self-Rez Power
Steel Canyon (20-25) - Group Recall

etc.

The only constraining zone is for the first Safeguard in Atlas Park, which can only be worked on in King's Row, as no other pre-10 zone has a Detective.

Also note that at level 10, 15, 20, etc, you have a chance of getting either Safeguard - the levels aren't completely clear cut, so at level 10 you may be given the Atlas Park Safeguard again instead of the King's Row one.

Completion Rewards

Temporary powers are granted after completion of Mayhem and Safeguard Missions, if they are of the appropriate level. Most players begin in Kings Row, since you can get a Detective contact, and a police radio, at level 5. The instanced map you get, and the temporary power rewarded, correspond to your level. If you are in a zone where the radio is "quiet", then your level is too high, or no missions are available at all in the zone.

Levels 5-10: Raptor Pack (instanced Atlas Park map)
Level 10-15: Zero-G Pack (instanced Kings Row map)
Level 15-20: Self-Resuscitation (instanced Skyway City map)
Level 20-25: Summon Teammates (instanced Steel Canyon map)
Level 25-30: Movement Increase (instanced Independence Port map)
Level 30-35: Endurance Increase (instanced Talos Island map)
Level 35-40: Health Increase (instanced Brickstown map)
Level 40-45: Life Insurance (instanced Founder's Falls map)
Level 45-50: Regeneration Increase (instanced Peregrine Island map)

Besides a wiki is about constant editing, so log on and edit that page. Or put your information in the talk page of that section, someone will come along and refine it.
