    Just because something works doesn't mean it only works against bad or dumb players. It's absurd to keep stating things like that. You're confusing mobility with defense and they are not the same. Having good offense with good mobility is all you may need in arena cause that's all peeps build for. In a zone it is very possible to switch from an offensive approach to a defensive one. Certain powersets thrive in such situations.

    Traps is a great teaming set in a zone once a team learns that they too have less of a reason to run around scared for their lives. If the only argument against Traps is that no one will come near you and those around you... well I'd consider that viablity, because there is a reason no one will want come around you.
    Yeah no traps are bad. Not having mobility sucks even in zones. Unless you are teaming with 3-4 MM´s(pain/storm/therm) and dont have to do much but jump around and KS'ing.
  4. Yeah i kind of want a new hero since i stripped my mind/cold.
    LF damage/disruption or damage/support hybrids.

    Wont play scrappers and tanks and defenders are too much work for what you get.

    So any fun troller builds? Idealy for zones, not much time for arena since most kb´s seems to happen like 4am where i´m at. Something that could work for 1v1´s and 2v2´s when TS and HD makes me rage would be nice.

    I would suggest a psy, fire, sonic or rad with em blaster as a starting hero. You can develop bad habits with melee.
    From what i understand and have seen shields are only really viable on tanks since they can can build for a truckload of ranged defense and can cap hp as well.

    Dunno much about arena but for zones(only played mine in RV):

    Dont pick up fighting for your pvp build.
    speed/leaping/fitness/tactics or concealment

    Trow Scourge Shrak Jaws(the scourge is frontloaded) is amazing i KS´d my way to 400 lolrep in no time thanks to that power.
    But,sometimes wish i had invis and phase instead of hibernate as escape tools.
    Since you are a TA(-jump is the most annoying thing ever) you are going to piss off a lot of people and hibernate invites camping.

    If you decide on phase get mace as your epic and pick up FA(need perception) at least. Web Envelope(If you can handle another redraw) is nice on knockable targets if you team with /ea doms especially.

    Also permagluing Pillbox farmers on slow hours is funny. Almost as funny as seeing a tank getting destroyed by Lord Recluse with painbringer.

    Glad Nets are pretty cheap too... a pretty interesting build considering it could have the abilty to easily add 40% range in PvP without even having to invest in Glad Strikes as well as around 10 more max end.     A 4 second hold with -regen that has 300s base recharge and has a really bad crash.
