What would make you return to CoH?:
Well I'm back now but I guess I'd like to see a big update on the current powers we have. I'm not too bothered about getting new powersets because there is plenty to choose from but maybe some updates in terms of looks and how they work

Some very wise words there Capt I've had exactly the same problem when playing my sonic controller, having random idiots yelling at me to go pick a set that is more helpful and by that they usually mean something that heals! Have to agree with you though Capt us poor deviants are getting thinner in numbers Anyhow Major Healer don't give up on CoX yet you just have to remember the amount of friendly players will always outweigh the random idiots

You might also want to take Darkest Night a lot earlier, fair enough in zone PvP the target will probably run off and the toggle will drop but you will find it awesome anywhere else! The -acc from Fearsome Stare is good enough but alone it still won't have the same effect as the debuffs on Darkest Night

I've always played on Defiant and I've never found the above a problem at all. Not sure where you got that from but there is always friendly faces waiting around in Atlas to chat to (although during the day it is rather quiet, us deviants aren't particulaly early birds )

I would have said the same thing about Union seeming quiet but thats because I've never had a toon past like lvl 3 on it . However, I presume its pretty much the same as defiant, personally I think the biggest problem is the fact that both servers have each been given some type of stereotype such as defiant being quiet and union being full of spam, but I guess you can't go on that unless you have played or had experience in both servers.

Either way you'll probably find most people will defend their server which they most deem to be home for their toons!

Just a quick question, is there much difference between Psychic Scream and Psionic Tornado and if so which one would be better to take out of the two?

I've had the same problem with my TA/Psychic build, I'm not too sure whether to take Psi Tornado or Scramble Thoughts :S Depends on whether the stun on Scramble Thoughts is worth it but I couldn't tell you as I've not had much experience with Psychic Blast before :P

I go away for a week and look what happens! Hehe congrats mate, shame I wasn't there to see you ding but well done on your 2nd lvl 50 (Damn you for beating me)

Nope you really can't hehe! Although have to say after playing my /sonic troller since I10 hit the dots really do make you feel funny when you stop playing... I'll be seeing dots till he reaches lvl 50

Thanks for the comments back guys, think I might roll one up and give it a go! I have an Ill/Sonic troller already and he can stand up fairly easily in team PvP but it'll be nice to see how the buffs from FF differ from Sonic

Ahhh screw defiance lol vigilance needs work on :P Us poor defenders get a hardly noticeable end redux which I've never found useful :P

When I said that I didn't see anything wrong with your build I meant to say the order of which he is choosing his powers was ok other than stamina, slotting on the other hand was bad :P

O.0!!!! I love illusion/sonic, you need to take your time with it though. I admit I didn't fully start enjoying it until I reached lvl 20s but it is well worth the wait. I think the thing is that people don't get to see what great benefits you get from /sonic seeing as the graphics aren't very dominant. However with an PBAoE bubble with res Hold, Immob etc and an AoE -res you can really turn the tide around with how efficiently your teams killings are. I don't see anything wrong with your build other than the fact stamina is too late, you'll really want to push that down so you get it around lvl 22 and take some of the illusion buffs later on such as the invis powers Hope that helps a bit!

Mage

Although it is muchly underappreciated I think illusion/sonic makes a really good combo Solo you have 3 pets to aid you and your blind+spectral wounds can pop out some nice damage if you place your AoE -res Disruption Field on your PA Have to say though /sonic is much more useful in teams, although a lot of the powers go un-noticed they really do help in making swift killings!

Guess it is all up to personal taste but I'd have to say Mind, Grav or Illusion for primary and Kin, Rad, TA or Sonic for secondary

Noooo I hate the idea of merging servers, not because there is particulaly anything wrong with it, just because about half of us are probably going to loose our toons names and be forced to re-name them all plus the fact it will be even harder to make a toon without having shove a full stop (Black Mage.) or a number at the end lol (Black Mage3000), which in my opinion looks silly Guess if it does happens we'll just all have to purchase dictionary and think of new fancy words
