Since the forum login bug is determined to bite me, even now, I may as well say this while I still can.

Six years. At least, in six days it will be six years. Since I first started playing CoH. Heh. I couldn't Roleplay for toffee back then. I was terrible. Like, actually bloody terrible.
It was only thanks to the folks on Union that I got better, got a verbal thumping when I needed it and stuck around to see a hobby become...well, sill a hobby, sure, but a better hobby.

Funny. For someone who loves words this is proving hard. I don't know what to say beyond "Thank you, Everyone," "Thank you Devs" and "Please, whatever Gods are out there, make this not be happening."

CoH deserves better than this. A mean-spirited, money grubbing cut off by a bunch of suits who never understood, never cared...never partook of the creativity or the magic.
To hell with them. With knobs on. May an unpleasant and bankrupt fate await all of them.


So...so long, I guess? I know I, for one, will never let Paragon die completely. I will get around to drawing my comics someday, featuring SABRE team, Alpha and his 'Team Tau', my heroes and villains...

The only other MMO I've ever played (bar demos) is World of Tanks. And that's solidly a shooter rather than anything with depth. Still fun, sure, but....not CoH.

I'll drift, I guess, until Transformers Universe comes out, and Elder Scrolls Online.
Neither of those will fix the Paragon shaped holes in my heart and brain, though...

Even getting the IP would be a start.

If anything, it might be 'better', in that we could make a CoH2. No old engine, no jenga-on-fire code. Build everything new and clean from the base up.

Having the current stuff would just allow that to happen quicker. I say that, but I'm just guessing. I'm no coder. I just draw and scribble writing stuff, heh.

But count me in. I don't want CoH to die...

Robotic arm 3 should be swapped to being just the left upper arm (i.e. Arm 2 but flipped) then 4 should be what 3 is currently, and 5 should be both arms robotic/whatever else.
