Have fun.
(That said, seems the site or host is having a mini-hissy fit atm, heh) -
Quote:You've been stood too close to GG one too many times MarcianI swear that I earnestly read this as "Manticore with States". It's seeped into my subconscious.
Either way, I updated my post with the exact description of the wine. I trust your knowledge of CoH lore that this is an awesome gift.
Now, though, I'm tempted to write an AE arc for States...hmm. -
That is your first digital ever? With a tablet?!
You sonuva-! Do you know how long it took me to even do just lineart fully digital?!
God-damned mutha-fragging prodigies....

Sign me up as another who was dissapointed at 'You can't be a Vigilante in the Rogue Isles' and vice versa.
That...y'know, kinda makes naff all sense? -
Quote:First off, it's aspergers syndrome.it will only be willfully misquoted later when someone wants to air out their aspergers disorder.
Second, thats not really the kind of thing you joke about unless you really want to come off like a complete goit.
It's like playing 'I whip my hair back and forth' in a cancer ward. Just saying.
OT; Yeah, people have a major problem differentiating 'might happen' and 'we have promised this and we shall carve out our hearts if we fail!!' -
Key points;
-Backpacks
-Not mitt hands and feet
-Better (and yes, animated) hair
-Better faces
-Asymetry
Those alone would double, no, quadruple what we could do with the costume creator. -
Quote:And don't try to prevent me pointing out the obvious, like the fact the Devs have specifically said that there are Engine Limitations involved. Y'know, the thing the game runs on?So because you don't want to discuss it no one can? If you don't want to participate, then don't, but don't try to prevent others who are interested from doing so.
It would take a lot of work or look stupid, not and. And I don't recall them ruling it out as a non starter, just stating that it would be very hard to prioritize due to the above logic.
I'm pretty sure no ones actually addressed that point and instead skirted around it so far

Hmm...colour me fairly interested.

Quote:So...screwing up the normal travel pool order completely is a good thing now? If it's not broken, don't try and fix it.It's odd that you guys seem to be forgetting the possibility of a Swinging pool power being constructed differently than previous Travel pools to accommodate this "Looks silly" thing which "sounds silly" to be honest
1: Zipline: You are given a targeting reticule similar to teleport powers. Click and your character is "knocked" to that location.
Can be used anywhere
Like the web zip in Spider-man 2 and Ultimate spider-man
2: Line yank( I know): A targeted knock.. forward attack that does minor damage.
3: Building swing: Your character jumps in the air, swings forward, and automatically swings again. Automatically sets your character to auto run, has a wider arc to turn with, and is fast, but can only be used in city environments or indoors.
Like the First spider-man Movie game, basically.
4: Swing attack: Like sheild charge, select a location/target and your character will swing up above the camera and come down with a kick at the target.
The idea that each travel pool can only have one "Real" travel power is limiting this set.
Oh, and 'Knock Forward' attacks are impossible. The Devs tried to make them work, and couldn't. Knock *back* is possible, and down. But not 'towards the caster'. It's a technical limitation. -
Meh. We've already got three 'Ninja' sets. One of them is even called Ninja Blade. Claws and Martial arts, heck even DB make more than enough sets that are 'Ninja'y enough already.
It basically seems like a helluva lot of work ("Clever coding") for something that really doesn't grab the attention. Would much rather see something like 2-handed weapon sets or something. -

For the love of pete, DO something with Boomtown. It's been in a state of 'being repaired...soon...ish' for HOW long now?
Buildings need more variety. And whoever built Praetoria needs to be given free reign to demolish and rebuild existing city zones so they look like, y'know, actual cityscape instead of some random, horribly laid out garbage?
/mini rant -
Quote:Trenchcoats! Military ones! That you can wear jackets under!Hear that, Jay? Make more like this!
I'll let him know how much you dig it.
How much do I have to beg, threaten, kvetch, grovel and/or murder people until that happens? D=
Oh, and the new IDF armour that got screenshotted. Please, tell me we get access to that? -
Quote:Note he says 'Untouchable', not Intangible. I think he means the sort of effect Reichsman gets in the 5thSF mission where you can't physically damage him at all. IE, 3 second 'Hammertime'.*Pretty much "what everyone else has said" and also:
Why would someone want to become randomly intangible? If you ever thought Illusionist were a nuisance, just wait until all your targets randomly go untouchable for 3 seconds.
*"Can't touch this!" -

...I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that maintenance has nothing to do with that side of things.
It's much more likely that you find the most lag on days where more people can show up, and thus there are more powers and suchnot going off and, ergo, making more lag. And stuff like capes/auras etc.
Or maybe it's your rig? Because whenever I've run MS raids and suchnot, while theres been slight lag it's never been crippling.
And hell, after the EU servers got physically moved to the US, I don't even get lag on Lag Hill of the ITF anymore. I...dunno what that proves, actually, but it might not be the servers fault

Can't remember if there was another thread before this (I suspect there was) but this one is one of them;
