  1. Both DM/Regen and Spines/Regen work well. The DM being a bit more single target oriented and Spines AoE.

    DM
SL in the attack chain helps to nicely supplement your regen rate. I used to skip this power until they tweaked the damage on it several issues ago and now its a staple in the chain. Be careful of Shadow Maul. Great power, but you need to make sure you can live through the animation if you need to click DP or Recon with enough Global rech on your toon you can consider dropping it entirely.

    Spines
I tend to play my Spines scrapper like a short range blaster opening with throw spines, moving in for ripper and quills, and then back out again. The slight-slow affect does help to mitigate incoming damage giving you a bit more time to regen and getting clear of the mob to set up a cone gives me time to hit those heals. Also a +rech proc in Ripper helps as well.

    Elec
One thing not worthy for an elec/regen build. An AoE KB power = potential slotting for the +rech proc. Although Regen really doesn't benefit from the endurance, it does benefit from more recharge, and that proc might bw worth trying this out for giggles.

...and as an afterthought, MA doesn't do half bad either as most of the MA attacks have some sort of mitigation effect that gives you more time to get to those clickies.

    Whatever you decide, have fun

    YMMV.
My first 50 and oldest toon is a DM/Regen. Nothing makes you appreciate proactive clicking like needing to hit Recon or DP during Shadow Maul's animation.

And I can see MA/FA being a very fun build. I may have to actually go back to playing scrappers again.
  3. I have and elec/kin/leviathan build I play as a sapper in PvP.
True, defenders do have much better debuff numbers, and I'm not exactly wowing ppl with damage, but it does what it's built to do. To offset the lower-recovery numbers I frankenslot transfusion with heal and end drain. Spamming that actually does wonders to keep the high recovery toons down in endurance along with your electric powers and the end drain spike from transference.

With enough time, that's probably a contest I can get behind. I may post some screenies. I'll let you know if any of them are Photoshopped non-entries as I can't possibly go through screen caps with at the very least a color touch-up
  5. SG team overfilled by one, so I guess I'm free if anybody is still looking to fill a team
  6. Will probably be fielding a team, just trying to sort out who has the RL obligations and when...but count on at least one turtle team to beat up on.

    Hey Gang,
Okay week before scheduled M&G. Xan was originally attempting to do the coordination here, but he may not be attending due to a change at work. I would at the very least attempt to coordinate a time were we all can meet for at least a brew. I'm thinking either Friday or Saturday set aside a bar where ppl can meet. I know a few may be just driving up for one day/night so we will attempt to accommodate. More info to follow as soon as I have a locale, but if anyone has any recommendations, feel free to comment. Places with karaoke a plus.
  11. Glad to see you guys had fun last night. On the road with work and having all sorts of internet connection issues that is keeping me away. See you guys next week, and looking forward to the meet and greet as well.
  12. Good times this week gang. Great way to get people new to PvP involved.

JK, also believe that either Ace or Blu on my team had a drop, but dont recall what it was

  15. Hey guys REALLY sorry on the late post of pics. A couple of guys took off on vacation and a little miscommunication on who needed to do what before they left.

Anyhoo, I hope I am not butchering the name spellings but the winners for the costume portion were

    1st: ultralass (left)
    2nd: aurellia (middle)
    3rd: glister (right)

    The concept portion:
    1st: Matinee Hero (mid- right)
    2nd: Ion Darkstar (far left)
    3rd: HalfStack(mid-left) and Faded-Glory(far right) : Tie

Special thanks once again to PERC and Radioftw.com and to all that showed up to make this event possible. Not an exact count but well over 1 billion in influence + salvage + enhancements were distributed to the winners, and many (if not all) the contestants. Every costume was great and rest assured that there was plenty of bickering among Turtles members in deciding the winners of this contest. You guys didn’t make it easy.
  16. Catch you next week bode...up to my elbows in work this week
