Why should he? He's got all these people around him to say it for him.

Doesn't matter how fast your car can go if you don't know how to drive.
-
Put it in the pile with 'things that don't work because of phase.'
-
I certainly don't think any of the uninformed posters have been flinging around the serious sort of negative nonsense I know I fling around when my dander's up.
-
When you're talking about alien creatures that drift through space and can live forever, you're not really able to use real-world cites about how things should work.
-
I have one, but I only went DP/En to ensure I could avoid redraw and for set bonuses. Between Conserve Power and Stamina, I feel safe running leadership toggles on the guy, and when we get inherent stamina I'm actually going to be lost and confused as to what to do with those extra power choices.

Bonus: "Everything being cheap" is the exact opposite of a good thing.

You've provided a definition of Rent Seeking that one can apply to flipping.
So?
All you've done is said that you can call flipping something else. You haven't proven that it's bad at all, just asserted that the something else, in a different economy which has things like food and water as opposed to being entirely comprised of bugatti veyrons and yachts that turn into helicopters, is a bad thing.
Then you get all asserty about how there cannot be positive effects.
I know it's a big post, and it's clear you're very proud of it, but that doesn't make you right, nor does saying 'time to end this' do anything to further that. It shows us that you are resolute, that you are being decisive, and that you are embarking on what you think is a killing blow, but all you're showing us is your devotion to being wrong. -
And I bet you have to be at the gym in 27 minutes, too.
You argue that players play very casually, and that it's better for them to get a big pile of extra info that they can ignore?
Please. Give me more market information. I'm sure it'll stop my profiting. And while we're at it, don't throw me in that briar patch! -
Why do people think putting more information in the hands of people who aren't willing to understand the information they already have is going to help? Market information benefit the informed and the engaged. More information is going to benefit the ebil and leave the poor casual players pouting 'screwed again.'
The claims of ways to 'fix' the market is all just another excuse thrown over the hideous deformity that is willing ignorance. -
Yeah, good point, well made. You're pretty much spot on.

that's downright amazing
I know you're doing the whole multi-pack price comparison thing (cheap by the standards of what it is, cheap by nebulous definition of its result, cheap compared to something else expensive)... but I still don't think you can call 70m at the cheapest possible option 'cheap.' Especially since '14m-30m' is a hell of a variance - the difference between 70m and 150m. You know, more than double.
I do appreciate that it's a good set, mind you. Not all that amazing - certainly nothing I'd bother lashing out for - but it's definitely a good set. -
Oh, and comparisons to real world marketplaces - particularly regarding what's 'good' for the market - that base themselves on real-world comparisons of essential services rather than luxuries are all fundamentally flawed.

Because I will bet you dollars to donuts, you haven't the faintest idea. You're mistaking prices people pay for costs. -
It would be rather fabulous if the 'shape shifting AT' had more shapes to choose from than the simplistic pair we already have, while I'm wishing for the unfeasible.
-
Sure, there's good stuff in it. I wouldn't try to palm it off as 'not very expensive' though.
-
The PVP set on a quick blush runs about 205 million inf. You can get the same rech out of Basilisk for probably less and in less slots.
-
Sure - my plant/thorn has 32.5% s/l which is heaps, considering he's also permahasten.
A fire/fire I can imagine building for good defenses. But a mind/ just seems like a waste. -
Not quite. The issue is that I feel Mind has so much good control that it doesn't need to build for defenses. If you want to wade into melee without a lot of control backing you up, then I can see the allure of high defenses, but Mind has such great controls it seems unnecessary here.
-
It almost looks like a waste. If we were talking Fire control or Gravity control, those defense numbers would be really great.
-
-
No.
Dominators do not have 'Fiery Embrace' any more. They have 'Embrace of Fire.' -

Run herostats. You'll find it enlightening. -
Yeah. On the other hand, as long as the search system is cumbersome and the AE is loaded with dead wood, we can't be sure that the principle behind airhead's suggestion isn't sound.
I seriously wonder how much the system could be improved by a reset-to-zero for everyone.
