At the end of the day though a Stalker has to employ a lot more tactics to kill you than you have to, to see/kill him.
[/ QUOTE ]
Damn couldnt be said better...star for you man... -
And the PvP expert on Union apparently is a scrapper....lol well dont start....
-
[ QUOTE ]
yes tainted in more simplistic words that u understand ( i am sick of stalkers following u and not leaving u alone it makes pvp a misery
[/ QUOTE ]
i understand perfectly that you overreact. A stalker stalks.
There are more than 10 ways to avoid a stalker AS you and obviously sitting in a PvP zone and having ice cream is not one of them. Perfectly legit to follow you and AS you to their pleasure.
Try learn to avoid them instead of whining -
[ QUOTE ]
ok i was in sirens call last night enjoying it i was gettin killed so were they untill a stalker would not leave me alone it was following me and not lettin me fight at all also the other thing is when the stalkers hits u ,u cant kill it becaose u cant HIT A BLEEDING THING!
[/ QUOTE ]
ok....... -
just to clear this out i dont say what people should or anything i am no expert or anyone to say what people should i just request and hope people lay off him,and most have already done that. Thats all...However if he at times needs to be put in place he should be put in place in a way thats not abusive but still he realise what go on. I try do that exactly.
-
i agree with hobo and also here is my comment
forget the whole tactics tree as u not really need it....plus u ll be already toggle heavy with force bubble so tactics will just add up too much.Since force bubble unveils stalkers anyway u not need the +perception bonus really (talking about high level zones of course) and with PFF u are a pain in lower level zones.
Go for a 3acc slotting in your attacks. Hasten and SS will help you in positional advantage all around plus tp foe is not a must have power and many times can be tricky depending on who u tp to u. -

I treat people as I would like to be treated but some push you to your limits. Not naming any names but a certain person was broadcasting in Altas Park bragging how he power levelled to 50 playing scissors paper rock in Dreck and abusing low level players. This was compounded by another player of the same SG who ruined a Hami raid saying they were misunderstood and laughing about wasting my time and effort.
If you saw this behaviour in real life would you try and understand them? or just write them off as a waste of time and space? I know what I would do.
People all play this game differently and I have a live and let live attitude to things, but when it spoils my fun time and upsets people all round I'm afraid I'm short on sympathy.
As for the age issue, we have SG and coalition members who are teenage boys and they are nothing but polite, respectful and a pleasure to team with. It is not an excuse to be rude and nasty.
[/ QUOTE ]
hmmm and on this you are right...remember i merely tried make him change attitude and see if it was all due to abuse..if he not understand he is worth of his own fate....and i agree with JAckie age no excuse...is just a factor that sometimes come in play... -
a notice: this is moved for next week due to Bridger being away and not having actually received response on the rewards etc
-
well ok let me say the following overall most people have lay off him and he tries his best.Everyone knows how it is to be 15 so at times things get a bit out of hand but nothing a little spanking doesnt fix...some people still give him a lot of abuse but he tries put up with it and be calm although not always manageable. I have done my best and i keep doing it as overall he is a nice chap when his 15 years of age dont take over and goes a bit ballistic. He tries hard though and tries fit in with people either by being overenthusiastic or trying to chat up like most do. (some call it spam
) I dunno some people seem to enjoy him and even accept him slowly some others simply ignore him and is fair and they not abuse him no more. When he comes out of line talking calmly and putting him in place is the way to go as he seems to realise better when people not go ballistic on him. I dunno i tried my best, and i enjoy conversations with him (when he not go a bit nuts
)

"hmmmm i sprayed beer from my nose and it burns!!"
LMAO.... -
no need request anything mate just add in friends list my controller or Obot warshade and any of the usual pvpers and next time i online (which is tomorrow) send us a tell to invite
tomorrow afternoon if u feel like is a good time for some fun
-
As far as Obot post go...any of the dedicated PvPers out there besides the battering etc and the occasional trashtalk we have never EVER refused help to anyone that wanted to get some tips about builds AT's and some PvP tricks and trades that some people might not know. I am no expert but i do try my best and help anyone that asks help regarding PvP. I team with random teams, i try advise anyway i can if is necessary about tactics or if someone asks about build and thats how most of the PvPers on Defiant at least go. The problem starts when people get killed and they just go ballistic on broadcast and forums.Ask around and try to improve maybe a few points of your PvP playstyle and you will see sgnificant change about it.And yeah at the beginning of PvP experience everyone is rubbish. The only advantage most of us had was that we did hardcore arena fights and that gave us chance to explore our PvP build potential to the max. I owe a lot to plight and his FFA matches since there i tested all my build and potential and learned the tricks of my build.

[ QUOTE ]
Before I tell you you're wrong, again. Lets be very clear. Your claim is that any specific build can beat any other specific build?
Obviously you've reached this conclusion through rigorous testing of every possible build combination... or possibly just guessing?
[/ QUOTE ]
I claim the obvious that every AT and combo set has its weaknesses and can be beaten by other AT's and combos.
A stormie might give trouble to DM scrapper but have serious issues with a claws one. There is no build that is not possible to beat in anyway.
[ QUOTE ]
yes some combinations may make it impossible to beat another
[/ QUOTE ] This is the obvious part due to the rock scissors situation which works just fine. The issue imho with most is that they not understand maybe the PvP is very VERY team orientated and not so much for solo. So the best PvP fun comes from teams that complement each other weaknesses and thats what makes a really good PvP team and thats the way to go for building seriously good PVP builds. You not try to cover up the weaknesses that is obvious you got you simply strenghten as much as possible all your strong points about your build and make sure your weaknesses are complemented by the next AT in your PvP team. Thats the way i go regarding PvP always. The build i got for my empath and my controller doesnt try cover up weaknesses only maximize the good skills that are already there. In a team that goes this way as a whole its deadly as its been observed many many times till now. -
[ QUOTE ]
Hehe... good to see you around that day, TG, and just remember you didn't have it all your own way...
...though I think this dirty, dirty boy likes the bat a bit too much...

[ QUOTE ]
dont take this huricane hate personal... but i realy think that huricane makes any pvp team way to powerfull , and not fun to fight against !
[/ QUOTE ]
I take it personal i ma gonna hunt you down and beat you with a /em batsmash then /em smack than uhhh dunno run out of emotes -
[ QUOTE ]
[A slight tune change? Remember we were talking about 1 on 1 when you claimed no one was unbeatable.
[/ QUOTE ]
I am on a one on one basis still. There is no AT that is unbeatable by any other AT.Everyone got weaknesses -
[ QUOTE ]
If there was an opponent that was unbeatable by everyother build, he probably needs a nerf. I think the Rock, Paper, Scissors thing works great.
[/ QUOTE ]
and thats why i say noone is unbeatable. Rock, scissors works very nicely. Just because one set cant beat another it doesnt mean its unbeatable.Everyone got weaknesses -
[ QUOTE ]
And no, I'll NOT be keeping my predictions to myself. This is a public forum and I have as much right to air my views as anyone else.
[/ QUOTE ]
actually you are right on that and apologies as i am out of line regarding that comment. You have every right to air your views. -
since you team with scrappers is not hard to kill a stormie. Simply use Chives (or any spines,i just mentioned his name) Impale and generally the Laser beam Eyes and all kind of ranged attacks you got and kite the stormie to death...a couple of yellows would do as well in case he try debuff you. Plus a claws scrapper will have no problem with the stormie. Yes solo you ll have problem and not much u can do as far as i know...then again everyone got a nemesis in duels.Alone you ll have issues and all you can do is keep kiting with Laser Beam Eyes till he go down.
