Hello all..I would like to invite all Zukunft players to the massive Valentine's event we organise on Defiant for some good fun and getting all together and enjoying...Hope to see as many of you as possible with your dates there that night. I will post the official announcement of the event year if someone could please translate it i would be grateful.

That's right....February the 14th Paragon City will be filled with love as well ...so here are the details....

February 14th 20:00 GMT Paragon Dance Party is the place you want to be.....cupid will be camping in PDP waiting for Hero couples to come along for fun....so what you basically need for the event is a date. Of course people that will have no date are welcome to pop in and you never know who you might meet on a day like this .

Now for the juicy part of the event.... The contests involve pairs....so thats why u obviously need a date...

1)Couples Costume Contest
2)Couples Dance contest (get those dance routines ready)
3)Cutest couple of the night
4)King and Queen of the night

These are the events that will go down...and the amount of influence spread will be massive as always.....The event will be covered with live music from Evolution Radio for shouts outs to your dates and special dedications and alcohol and beers are all on Statesman and the Freedom Phalanx (last time we heard the word was that States and Ms Liberty were seen together at a romantic location holding hands...)

So get ready for it its 14 days almost to go, spread the word cause thats one event u not want to miss...loads of fun and good spirit as always....

Taxi service will be available as always and of course we got the job openings for the event so anyone that is interested sign up here. The jobs available in detail are :

1)Bouncers (6 spots)
2)Taxi Service (3 Spots)
3)Platform Dancers (4 Spots)
4)Bartenders/Barwomen (2 spots)
5) 2 spots for special assignment for the night

actually the dancing ms liberty and ghost falcon and statesman doing JJ they are not skinned. They are models placed there from scratch and timed through demoeditor. The Ledgesitting Statesman scene and Chesty Larue and Positrin scene is actually me and Gandrel performing the scene and skinned afterwards as for the Positron some random guy popped in so i couldnt go all over shooting the scene so i skinned him as Positron lol....

Ok i think the answer is obvious to this.Let me explain what i think and this is my pesonal opinion. If the devs intended the PvP zones for 1vs1 duals they would have introduced a flag system or something like this. The arena has clearly a duel system which serves people that want to do without anyone harassing 1vs1 battles with a variety of rules. You are trying to tell me that in a zone like Sirens where the goal and objective of the zone is around massive conflicts *points at hotspots* the essence of the zone is duelling? In fact Sirens is the most clear zone in terms of what the purpose is there. All Heroes vs all Villains. Whoever brings more victories brings control over the zone. Thats the eesence. I dont see any mobs throwing gloves at each other asking for duels and the rest of Arachnos spectating cheering and throwing pop corn at the Longbow watching and doign emotes like "gimme a B-A-L-L-I-S-T-A what that spell?goooo Ballista."

The objective in there is crystal clear. Annihilate the opposing force. now if the opposing force chooses to step in zone and start "Hey u wanna duel me right there where everyone can see us?" and when the duel starts the broadcasts is filled up with "OMG u ****************************" then no i dont want that cause thats what goes on right now. If the devs want actually 1vs1 in PvP zones which they dont since they didnt introduced team based PvP to have pvp zones for duels, then they should introduce flaged system or link the arenas with an entrance from the PvP zones or put Arena terminals in the PvP zones. Cause now its getting beyond annoyance to listen to everyone how he reacts after someone attacks by accident on a duel that is taking place right in fron of the beach across the villains base.

That of course is my own personal opinion and comes from my own experiences with duelists. Not that i havent had good ones. There are people like Singh who make sure everything goes ok and are a bliss to watch duel and usually does it without trying to mess with the zone. But try see the majority and how they set the duels and then you ll realise why the whole 1vs1 doesnt appeal much. Because its 1vs1 in a pvp zone and the 2 vs the rest of the zone in broadcast name calling.

It looks to me that i dont really like it but i respect it. And if you read the posts carefully its not the 1vs1 i dont like but the mentallity of some of those engaging 1vs1 thinking that this obliges the whole zone to it. 15 min ago someone started screaming on broadcast because he was attacked while watching a 1vs1. Like i said i not mind the 1vs1 and usually i not attack them unless i not realise its 1vs1 or miss the announcement. But the spectators are all up for a treat. especially when the 1vs1 is heal right across the villains base on the beach. Arena and observator is for 1vs1 and full spectator mode. As for the the "who are you to tell me i cant do 1vs1" of course noone can tell you that you cannot do 1vs1 but who is anyone to tell the rest that you cannot attack a 1vs1 when the zone was not designed for it and there are specific zones for duels and spectators. Works bothways.

When a whole zone stops pvping to watch a duel imho is not a good thing and certainly saying "Hey i am trying to watch the duel!!! Cant u see" is no excuse. Next step is to hand pop corn and beverages to the spectators and the pvp zones to be renamed to Arena. For spectating and duels there is the arena and the observator mode. I respect the duelists but having people on top of that say "OMG CANT U SEE I AM TRYING TO WATCH"..well omg no i cant see it.

Actually due to the lack of RoE and CoC within CoH PvP you can only call griefing situations where EULA rules are broken or exploits such as the sirens tower,that have been officially recognised as exploits, are used. Apart from that you cannot really speak about griefing within the Co* PvP zones. I know what you ll say that rules or not its actually griefing to kill the same player again and again...but to petition someone you need a rules a context to base your petition and right now there is no rule against griefing except the EULA rules articles 1 and 3 for harassment and abusive language profanity etc. Nothing related to pvp conduct.Which i think should be created as fast as possible....

I have been wondering the same thing ever since people started talking about duels and 1vs1 in PvP zones....

i have to agree that PvE scrappers NEED stamina. My non stamina builds are purely PvP..

i would say that would be a much more fair deal,and more atractive to the players to try urself out in PVP.

As for level 50's pvp only i pvp in sirens on villains side
with a level 30 dominator and a bunch of level 28 corruptors with no stalkers and we can kill anything that moves from level 20 to level 50.

actually i disagree with all of the above. The current system requires more skill from the players and not just clicking on a full tray. If the regulars come in a level 30 zone with all our powers then nothing can save most of the villains out there and its hard enough for them as it is now. You need to learn to plan your toon according to your needs and you need to decide.You want a pvp toon?Fine respec into PvP build and expect some PvE underperformance.
