Quote:Not all Premium accounts are equal. Premium only means the account has paid for something sometime.Correct me if I am wrong, please...
When we were told 'inactive accounts' would go premium, it was said that we would have access to Archetypes that would normally be locked (i.e. Controllers, and the other AT's that are 'locked' for premies).
Is this statement true, and if it is, how do I go about unlocking my controller on my premium account?
I have zero paragon points for the store, on that account, so if by unlocking means I have to buy it, then pancakes.
So one Premium account might have unlocked the locked ATs. For example my Premium account has Kheldians and VEATs unlocked.
As a premium you will have account tokens to apply that can unlock things so you will need to login to see what you have and can get there. -

I'd allow the Premies the alpha slot if they bought Going Rogue. That would probably entice them to want the rest of the incarnate system and thereby subscribe.

Any time it will be done on Exalted?

You made my 8 year old very happy today because I am letting him have an old lapsed account of mine. I even bought him some Paragon Points so he can shop a little.
He's been asking ever since the announcement if City of Heroes was free to play and now he can. -
I stopped being lazy and went to Paragonwiki.
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards
At 87 months we would have 36 tokens. 35 tokens is considered Tier 9. The wiki reports having not the slotting sets the Tier level.
So we were Tier 9 in August. -

Quote:Were you absent when Freedom was announced? There was a lot of howling about going "free to play" (though that was not actually what was happening). One of the first few threads I made when I joined the forums was asking for some system to 1. Give CoH more money, 2. Give the new guys a chance of getting the 7 (6 then) years of rewards reducing the hopelessness they would feel with iconic costume parts seemingly totally out of reach.
To say the least I got totally POUNCED and FLAMED, maybe even Nuked from orbit.
So now that this has actually come to pass, where is the outrage. So it is heresy for a guy to suggest something like this, but when it is actually implemented everyone is all alright with it? Where is the hate threads?

By time the details of how the vet rewards were involved was out people had a better understanding of things.
If you can only look at what happened as a suggestion to buy vet rewards was implemented that's a misinterpretation on your part. -

Great change!
I think I need to go back over the I21 notes with a fine toothed comb for more sweet changes like this. -
My base enhancement storage is alphabetical instead of last in on the bottom.
I like it but it confused me. -

I admit I didn't pay attention at first but the last villain I ran it with didn't get the 2 reward merits at the end. I am going to check with a couple more villains but if they also don't get the 2 I am going to guess the villain arc is bugged.
-
2 merits was the base reward when I finished it (hero)
-
I've been moving my villains blue once they have finished all the missions on the red side. Not sure what I will do once they finish all the blue missions.

The 6 for 480 was a headstart special. Headstart seems to be over other than the opening of the floodgates to the Premium and Free players.

Quote:"Ask Duray's teeth" That needs to be on a City of Heroes poster.Except that's not the choice before humanity today. I should say, that's not the choice before Cole today. Humanity has no choice. So the real question is: should humanity get to choose its fate, or is it acceptable for someone else to choose for them, whose primary qualification for the position of Judge of All the World is that he can beat up everyone else on it.
It is, ultimately, black and white because Cole offers no other choice. Either you are with him or against him. So everyone must choose. If you think he's right, you're on his side. If you don't, you're not. Cole isn't offering the third choice of conscientious objector. If you object to his rule, and take any steps that have any chance of weakening any part of it, he'll squash you like a bug. It gets no more black and white than that. Ask Duray's teeth.
I'm not saying its obviously black and white against Cole. I'm saying you either oppose Cole or you don't. Maybe you don't know if he's "evil" or "bad" or whatever else you want to call it, and maybe you'll never know, and maybe you think that's unknowable. But within the fiction of the game, you will still have to make your choice. "I don't know" is making a choice, its ultimately choosing to let others make the choice for you. -
