I was just wondering the same thing. Since I'm leveling a Sonic/Cold now
  2. I like this, thanks! Now to figure out if I can get my ranged up a little =P
  3. I wanted a little more Defense to S/L & Ranged. S/L is barely under the softcap & Ranged is close with a small purple. Would love to boost these up while keeping the same recharge or more. This is with the Spiritual Alpha in mind.

  4. Never really put much thought into it, I guess PA really does add a pretty good chunk of dps huh? Well that & indestructible meatshields. Hmm.

    Ghost Widow
    Scirocco
    Barracuda
    Positron
    Antimatter
    Synapse
    Neuron
    Numina
    Infernal
    Malaise
    Sister Psyche
    Mother Mayhem

    Black Swan
    Vandal
    Requiem
    Arakhn
    Baphomet
    Lilithu
    Vanessa DeVore
    Countess Crey
    ...

And that's just off the top of my head, the list of reasons goes on.
This was something that also troubled me some. I also don't have enough Set knowledge to cap S/L & Range, while still having a decent amount of recharge. Not with the amount of money I have at my disposal anyway. About going Stone Epic, I thought about it, but that would involve giving up P Ray in exchange for either Hurl Bolder, eh, or Seismic Smash. While SS does sound pretty damn tasty, that also involves me going to into Melee & possibly killing my imps in the process. I guess that's just a trade off, Earth's Embrace or -res/good ranged attack.

I guess I should state that this isn't solely for AVs & GMs. Granted that this toon will be doing them a lot, it's also for general PvE with a couple friends. The buffs can lack in this area because I hate buffing in the first place =P
  6. Hmm, now your data chunk isn't working for me
  7. What would you change? I'm open to suggestions
  8. Yea I saw people were capping S/L as well as Range. I don't know what else I could change up to get some Ranged Defense though.

  10. Was kicking around the idea earlier that Fire/Cold could take down a Pylon/AV/GM faster than Ill/Cold, or at least keep up in speed, while maybe not being as survivable because of no PA. While also not being stupidly pricey, minus the LotGs, you can get those via Merits. So I sat down tonight & put this build together, I could use some help with improvements if you can see how to do so.

A couple of things I need help fixing; No self Heal, & I can't see how to get a hefty amount of +regen while staying softcapped & a high amount of recharge.

Accuracy. I don't know how much is needed to be at 95% against +4s so the slotting of Heatloss, FF, & Benumb worry me a little. If they have enough, then no worries.

Recharge. I would've liked more, I think Benumb will be perma along with Hasten, or at least close to it after the Spiritual Alpha. But I would like Heatloss & The Spider pet to be closer to Perma as well.

Defense. I know the build is softcapped, but is there any room for Cushion incase of Debuffs?

    Thanks for the help! =D

    Katana/Willpower

Here's a build I need help with. Because I know it can be improved but, I don't know how to do so lol. Built for S/L defense but, I don't know where to cap that or exotic damage. Hasten is droppable if you can think of something to replace it. I'm open to any suggestions!

And Dull Pain does help with PSI, but I find without some resists it can still be painful.
Yea, I decided on Willpower because of Quick Recovery lol, I want to get Water Spout and a pet =P With Invul I'd need Body Mastery. With a willpower should I build for S/L Defense or E/N/E/C defense? with recharge & HP

Yea that's something that troubled me a little while playing in Mid's. I has 0 resistance to the elements & Energy damage types. But SoW gives the same amount of resistance that Invul's would normally get for 2 minutes so that should be enough to dispatch anything that was giving me trouble. And is SoW effected if you slot Res/Rech in it like Mind Link or no?
  15. Alright thats what I needed. I'll probably go WP for Quick Recovery & being able to cover the Psi whole, and I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more Psychic with the issues to come. I completely forgot about SoW, which I would call Willpower's fall back as Dull Pain is to Invul. Sweet, thanks! Now, how much recharge is needed for the GC>GD>GC>SD chain? Once I can figure that out, I can move on & make a build lol.
  16. High End Content like, the Incarnate TFs, and the ones to come. STF/RSF, Khan, Mothership Raids, Pylon Times, stuff like that.
  17. Invul With Invincibility, Tough Hide, Weave, Combat Jumping & the Res/Def IO, is at 16.5% S/L Defense unslotted. WP with Heightened Senses with everything else is only 9.2% base. And I build to like, 32% defense and just use DA whenever I needed the extra defense. I think I'm most concerned with, which one can achieve pretty great survivability & maintain a good amount of recharge?
  18. I can't seem to choose. I know I want to make a new Katana Scrapper but, I can't really choose which way to go. I have about 1.5bill to blow so take that into consideration. I know the perks of WP are massive regen with some defense/res mixed in. While Invul is more Def/Res with Dull Pain to fall back on. If it helps any, I'll be using this guy for all the high end stuff as an alt to my Fire/Rad. So DPS & Survivability would be nice to have, considering Lethal will be lagging behind in the damage department, (another topic all together) So yea, help from the Scrapper family?
  19. Swansu

    +4 Task Forces

Would the new TFs at +4 still be 54s? Or would go to...58's!? -dramatic gasp-
  20. Pretty much what Dread said (lol) My i19 build has both Leadership & Fighting to softcap S/L with Perma AM & close to Perma Hasten. You probably won't be standing still in melee long enough for Choking Cloud to make a difference, as it ticks very slowly. If anything you can just stuff the Res/Def proc in Tough & call it a day.
  21. Whoa, I think i'll just wait for i19 instead of messing with all of that haha. And move those slots around once that Mid's comes out. But Zandock look at my build, I changed some things around.
  22. And here is the one i'll probably use. I'd change a couple things if I could find out how to get ahold of those slots in Health but, for the most part this is what I tinkered around with & got using your build.

  23. Thanks! =D That was me that asked for it in JFA. Question though, How do I get ahold of all the Inherits in Mids? I can't figure that out. Tailoring the build to fit my preferences.
