  1. How about diminishing return?
    First Tank Smasher is 300, second 400, third 500.

    Diversification is the current fashion anyways.
  2. Could be you need low arachnos, cause i killed so many in siren's and warburg...

    As for the 38 maximum thing, that's because the Lvl 50 PvP zone isn't there yet, since villains cap at 40. Expect a 50 Zone with i7 when villains can get 50.

  5. Did you get that Mongoose badge?
    I'm asking because my villains all got the Spider Smasher badge after a few Arachnos missions, but my hero hunted them a LOT in sirens and warburg: no badge.
    So i'm not sure they really crossover.
  6. You can't do a gladiator match against a villain.

    Devastating? Uh? Have you tried it?
    Even if a mob is held and takes full damage, that damage is still awefull when compared to any other AoEs.

    States, my friend, you need to take recharge time into effect here!! Any power that takes that long to recharge should have a tremendous effect!

    The unslotted damage pales in front of Combustion, frost, or any other AoE damage. My Kheldian Footstomps for twice that damage unslotted!


    It is NOT devastating. What kind of group do you hang with, that damaging 33% of a mob's life with 6-slots in damage every 30 seconds is strong???

    A power's efficency is: Effect x cost x recharge.

    So: Low damage + fear x low end cost x huge long forever recharge = NOT devastating.

  9. Hope its not to late to post, but i just wanna say that on test, i noticed the return of the evil invisible Kora fruit glowie . Encountered it twice in 3 missions, while i haven't seen it on live in about 20 missions.
  10. I took Super-Hero, my level 50 Fire/Ice tanker on test today.
    I am not specialized for herding, as i do not have the fighting pool or blazing aura.


    Ouch.

    Guys, you overdid it. Fear + recharge + damage? Too much, the power now goes into the "skip it" bin.

    I did a Kora fruit mission (btw invisible Kora glowies are back). My normal attack pattern was all screwed, as Burn was always down. Now, since i'm Ice, i currently have the Ice Patch, and 2 holds, so i could at least hold 2 mobs into the fire. But even then, it wasent up enough to warrent its use.

    I tried slotting for recharge, and went 3 dmg 3 recharge. Burn was up more often , but then the damage was ridiculous (4 dmg a tick on an orange). Since even a double taunted enemy fled burn after a few ticks, i barely dented anyone except the guys i held.

    I quickly found out that my character was a lot more efficient if i didn't use burn!! because i saved on the chasing around.

    I tried to pair a controller. Maybe with his holds, then i could burn stuff.
    But either:
    Burn was never up enough and i ended up killing with my Ice Sword...
    or
    Burn didn't do enough damage and i ended up killing with my Ice Sword...


    So basically, bottom line is, i would not recommend burn to be included in a classic attack cycle. It's damage and recharge just aren't worth it, and that's 6-slotted with perma-haste.
    Not only that, but i would actually avoid it's use because of the scattering effect.
    So another attack from the secondary pool would actually benefit more, since at least you can taunt with it.


    So now, that means, after the plasma shiled (lvl 14 power) there is no point of Fiery Armor Set. Burn-FE-RoTP all are bad powers, making this the WORST of all the game's power set, Can you name another set where the last 3 powers are skip-overs???

    I didn't expect the "remove title" item to be part of an extension, i thought it was a casual feature, and i just assumed it would be in I3.

    But now i know, and knowing is half the batlle...

  16. Oh, i know these aren't game-breaking stuff. I just feel they should be very simple to implement. I mean, how hard is it to have a NPC ask you if you wanna lose your title? A lot easier then making giant walking snowman...

    And to add an auto-delete option for certain enhancement? I bet the awesome devs at Cryptic could program that in a coffey break!

    As for considered VS promised, well, Statesman did Pm me a month ago saying "this is beeing discussed internaly as we speak". Just wondering where the discussions are at.

    I'm tired of beeing the famous brilliant Super-Hero, gathering junk enhancement at lvl 50...
  17. i remember 2 features that sounds rather simple to me beeing considered by the devs, but still no word yet... are these forgotten? They are:

    1- A way to remove or change Titles passed lvl 25 .

    2- A filter so we don't get training and/or DO enhancements

  20. 1- Some lvl 50 content for those of us not Rad or Spine. Why can't we be useful for Hami?

    2- A /autolevel 30 command for players with already a lvl 50 character creating a non-epic alt. I mean, maybe i'd like to try some new powers without doing the same very limited content? I'm sorry, i'd like to try more alts, but i can't stand saving the fortune teller anymore... As for just getting PLed, well, might as well be straight lvl 30 if you don't plan to play anyways.
  21. Yes, i love teleport foe. But most tanker are strecth for power pools. But for a tanker that picks teleport for the obvious US issue, then yes, TP foe makes a good pull from safety.
  22. Last night, we did Positron's TF, and on the second-last mission, we got a Ghost mob in the wall. We had been on the Tf for 4 hours, and it was 3 am.

    We got a response in about 3 minutes!!

    I hope this covers Tfs. Currently, the way exmemplars get immediatly kicked off TF with any Ld from him or the partner, or the way you can't do TFs in 2 steps, is very unfriendly. Consider a system to lock a player in exemplar mode once he joins a TF.


    Also, about the fear thing, please, make sure you test the powers in Presence. Invoke Panic really looks like it has ZERO affect most of the time. The very very short PBAoE range and the fact that a mob flees about 5% of time and then it still shoots you really makes it teh worst power ever.
