  1. Actually, I just happened to see it in-between commercial breaks. :\

Not trying to nag, but my favorite character has that as his secondary, and I see no problems with it's efficiency.

The reason I fear for it is because they're saying Scrappers can not meet the same resists as Tankers [ I've seen otherwise ], but that Regen seems to need a tweak [ When I don't think it does ]. The difference in opinion is what makes me worry; otherwise, it's just a matter of wanting to know.

Either way, I suppose I could make a new " main ", but that would be another few months of worth I'd have to do.. :\

Regeneration by itself isn't that great at all.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But since 90% of the people who take Regen also take the Fitness and Fighting power pools, it looks overpowered, and thus, will be " tweaked ".

This is gonna give me a heart attack.

I'm going to die, Statesman, and you won't be at my funeral, if you keep avoiding me like this! Don't scare me with talks of Regen changes. It's perfect the way it is!

    *cough* MoG *cough*

    [/ QUOTE ]

Changes to the Regen set are almost 100% to be related to Instant Healing. Why? Because it's the BACKBONE of the set.

And once they change IH, it's all over.

I could care less about MoG. Why? Because I got my ultimate power at 28! AND I WANT IT TO BE KEPT THERE!

Why, why, why do you have to look into Regeneration?

I have a 28 DM/Regen myself and I think it needs looking into.

At the higher levels, I saw a (IIRC) 39 BS/Regen taking on a 41 Chief Boss in PI a few days ago (I may have the numbers wrong but it was at least a +2 spread). The Rikti could not win the fight. In the time it took its attack to recycle, all the damage had been healed back. Even if it hit with every shot, it could not win. That's not right. A +2 Boss should be something that puts any soloer, of any AT, any build, to pause at least. It should never be a slam dunk. Nothing justifies that.

And yes, I realise Invulnerability can probably do the same thing. That isn't right either. Reflexes is about where Scrapper defenses ought to be.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    A. - I think you need to watch some of the Vids of people soloing ARCHVILLIANS, which are MUCH more dangerous than a LITTLE +2 boss.

    B. - Obviously you haven't seen anyone with Perma-Elude, because the can get easily to 125% DEF or MORE.

Regen is fine; that, or all of the sets need to be nerfed, by your standards.

  6. You, Statesman, are intentionally avoiding me! I would never do that to you!
  7. Statesman! You're running from me and my questions for Regen, I know it! GRR!
  8. [ QUOTE ]
    Concern = small tweak.

    Don't worry Regen Scrappers!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Statesman, you're going to make me cry.

And answer me, you big tanker! Stop posting to someone else before I post! >
  9. [ QUOTE ]
If Regeneration is a "small concern" in terms of "maybe needing a small fix", I can live with that. It is, as it stands, possibly a little overpowered. What I am afraid of, though, is a more-than-small change that would completely decimate the set. It wouldn't take much... since healing rate is all Regeneration has, more than a small reduction in that healing rate would be crippling.

That, and I'd like to see a small boost to Regen in the levels before Instant Healing, since it's hell to get to 28 as a Regen the way it is now... if you're going to reduce the reward, at least make the drudgery to get to it a bit less painful.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, man. No changes. None! Don't change my lovely set..
  10. A few of the Stone Armors do not allow for any type of flight, or lack of touch to the ground. That is most likely the reason.

    2. After analysis, Scrappers CAN NOT reach the same levels of resistance as a Tank. Regeneration, though, is a small concern

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Damnit to hell.

Why, why, why do you have to look into Regeneration?
  12. How about making all of the Tanker powers having a [ VERY ] Minor AoE to them, with a taunt attached to the AoE?

Ex: Fire Melee: A small explosion around the target that sends some cinders around the target; mag 2 Taunt in a melee-ranged AoE around the target [ Not the tanker ].

Ice melee could have ice shards that go outwards from the target.

Energy Melee could have some resonating energy go outward from the target.

SS could have some similar type of resonance [ but not energy damage, making it not the same as EM ].

I don't know about the two others, but it seems like it would solve the Tankers' Damage problem and Aggro problem at the same time.
  13. Want some Cheese with that Whine, Troll?
  14. Thanks for the information.
  15. Or just create A Buff Duration Enhancement.

.. Anyone ever thought that might work? I only read the first two pages worth, skimmed past the rest.
  16. I demand a Recount.

    And another Recount.

Until CuppaJo and Lord Recluse come out the winners.

I will not stop repeating my demands for Recounts until my Personal favorite political leaders win. I will haunt you in your dreams until your spirit is broken. I will steal your soul and CRUSH IT IN THE PIT OF DESPAIR IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION!

I WILL SLAUGHTER ALL WHO OPPOSE RECLUSE/CUPPAJO!

    Five days later:

    Me: What the hell?

    Recluse: Haha, Sucker.
CuppaJo: - giggles, points, gives Recluse 99999 influence. -
Recluse: What the hell? I'm supposed to be infamous.
CuppaJo: - Blinks. Smacks him on the back of the head, knocks him out cold. -
    Recluse: ..
CuppaJo: Haha! And now I will be the Dictator of ALL OF PARAGON CITY! BOW TO ME, THE LEAD COMMUNITY REPRESENTATIVE AND NEW TYRANT OF PARAGON CITY!

    Statesman: What was that?
CuppaJo: - Coughs. - Nothing, nothing..
    Statesman: That's right. - Flies off. -
CuppaJo: - Snipes Statesman with her new uber power. -
    Statesman: ..
CuppaJo: My evil plan has been carried out! I am the new Leader of all you Paragon Citizen scum! Shine my Cup! Pour me some Jo! NOW!

    ..

And this, folks, is why I usually try to otherwise spend my time in a more productive manner, and not give myself time to think excessively. Have a nice day!

P.S. CuppaJo, I love you, I don't mean any of that. Unless you think it's funny. Then I do.
  17. I'm gonna make a Poster for CuppaJo/Recluse. Just how to make it look.. hm..
  18. It's been said before by a Red that you will NOT have to pay another $15 a month to have CoV along side CoH. I've been searching the Dev Digest for five minutes checking to figure out exactly where they said it, but I will let you personally send me hate mail in every way possible if I'm wrong on this.

Trust me, you pay $15 whether you have CoV, CoH, or both. The only exception to this rule is if you have more than on CoH account. And I'm sure it would work the same as the original--I.e., if you bought two CoH copies and activated them both, you could then get two CoV copies and attach them to each account to have CoH and CoV paid for on each $15 bill, totalling to only $30.

They aren't out for our money alone--This is evident in the fact that there is a Dev Digest, and that it's rare you don't see anything from one of them for long. Some may be working on something, but then shortly after you see them posting a lot to make up for it.

They're good people. Don't discredit them.
  19. I vote for CuppaJo.

    And.. that lord Recluse guy.
  20. Geko. Good work.

I pay because you do a good job.

    Keep it up.
  21. Statesman [ And CuppaJo, and other Devs! ]:
    Here ya go!

    Shades of Red.

Senses were reactivated one at a time; the stench of death was the first of many reasons to flare the nostrils in contempt. Upon the beginning of ocular observation, the change was most clear.. Crimson cloaked the world, stained its multicolored origin, and left it smeared.

A bodily chill began from both forearms that spread in alarm in a wave of rising flesh, hairs pinpointed to highlight the foriegn feel of excess material, yet not hostile. Heartless was the object merged; questions of his whereabouts became the greater priority than that of his state of health.

Double-shades of Ruby gleamed within his perceptions; trails of the majestic fluid trailed off towards the only discovered exit. The split-second of improper balance, recognized, but overcame, did little to phase the concentrated quest for knowledge. Knowledge of names. Lack of motion came from the deterrance of a solid; a swift palm to the circular button extending to his right, and the ocean of tinted metal split before his might.

Screams were voiced in what seemed to be corralation with the overwhelming force of light. Incoming rays forced his actions to remove himself from the excess radiation; a grimace uttered by a parched oral cavity. Defense came in form of his left appendage, shielding from the assumed angle of origin; albeit, secondary hostility wasn't seen until too late--even then, the aggression was known only after its performance. The sudden void of entirety was replaced with puncture wounds; four across the chest, marking himself as injured, while a re-footing was acquired from the momentum of the miniscule peircings, now beginning to coat the hardened mixture of fabric and fluid. The sudden pain was followed by a similar sensation beginning at the knuckles; unknowing of the why, further screams and utterances of disgust and horror failed to give clarity to his situation.

    --

I'm tired. I might just go back and redo that entirely.
  23. You know, this WOULD happen, as I've been doing Bastion's TF NON-STOP.

I've done it like, 6 times, and Nazi's are growing? HOW? I HAVE KILLED !$#^@!547 OF THEM! I SWEAR!
