Didn't I tell you guys KB recipes were golden in another thread? Didn't believe me, huh?

I know zilch about DA. However, running one MA boss farm will cap you at 1500 tickets easily. That's enough for 20 bronze rolls. Last night I scored a big bunch of crapola, and that should still net me 10-20m profit. Hit any good ones, like the lucky Obliteration 4-way I got the other night, and you'll be rolling in inf before you know it.

I don't want to sound like more of a dick than I really am (oh yeah, I am one!) but it doesn't really depend at all. The most you can reasonably hope to get for your commons on average is like 50k each. 9 commons (okay let's say 10 just to make the math easy) = 1 bronze roll. If you're making more than 500k per bronze roll on average (and I am), you're throwing money away by rolling common salvage.

You're wasting money buying salvage with tickets. You make much more spending your tickets on bronze rolls, selling those, and buying salvage with cash. Saying "salvage is free with tickets" is the exact opposite of what is really the case.

I doubt they will drop much. Even standing around and waiting every 5 minutes in a farm situation, the drop rate is much lower than what the system was when it was introduced.

Even eliminating the timer resetting, you still have to wait 5 minutes no matter what, so the drops won't come any faster then they are now. The only good thing is the timer doesn't reset, so that may eliminate some of the timer resetting kills.

But either way, the market is still mine!

You're stuck in a farm mentality. Forget about farming for a second and think about zone pvp. Before, you had a 10 minute timer that reset all the [censored] time. Now you have a 5 minute timer that triggers ONLY on kills and doesn't reset. Sounds like a significantly increased drop rate for people who don't farm.

The test fixes it so arena farming isn't feasible any more and the best way to get a drop is to engage in zone pvp. You have much more chance to get one in zone pvp now.

If the dev's intention was to squash arena farming while encouraging zone pvp, I'd say this is about as fixed as it gets.

I actually use several of the sets I've been deleting. It makes me sad that people don't bother slotting full sets if they're not FOTM. OTOH, I get sweet IO's and good set bonuses for essentially the cost of the salvage to craft them since the recipes are like 1k or 10k each. I'll take advantage while I can. MWAHAHA!!

Hmm...11 bronze rolls or 100 common salvage with the intention of driving prices DOWN on salvage...this sounds distinctly non-ebil to me.

Might be time to start double-checking this tho. I just saw a recipe last night go for 27m where the crafted was going for 20m. Needless to say I posted just the recipes (yeah, I got 2! MWHAHA!).

Try KB protection or Steadfast +3% Defense. Those are always in demand.

That's the way I read it. 12 potential drops per 30 minute duel, and AFK should work again. Still takes 5x as long to get farming the arena, but twice (or more) chance to get a drop in zone pvp (due to reduction of the timer from 10 to 5 minutes).

I think this is what they were trying to do with the last patch. They're nerfing arena farming hard, but still encouraging people to head into pvp zones where there are more people to kill (in theory) and thus many more chances per hour to get a drop.

From today's test build patch notes. Anyone care to clarify this? If I'm reading it correctly, rep timer no longer affects the killee, only the killer. In addition, killing the killee will not reset his/her rep timer.

Dude I've been playing this game for 4 months. One of the first things I did was go and read up on guides. Pretty much every guide I read about this game said that once you hit 50 you start over...there's no end-game content so if you're expecting it, you're going to be disappointed...the journey is the fun of this game, not the destination.

I'm sorry that you're bored with a game you used to love, but this game isn't the kind of game you want and apparently NEVER was.

So I thought I'd post this just because it amuses me. Here's what I've been doing lately to bring in a steady stream of inf.

Step 1 - Run one MA farm to cap out tickets.
Step 2 - Buy bronze recipe rolls till you can't buy anymore.
Step 3 - Delete all the garbage (ie anything where the recipe alone isn't worth at least 500k)
Step 4 - Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have a full inventory of good recipes
Step 5 - Craft em all, post em all.
Step 6 - ???
Step 7 - Profit.

For bonus points, don't craft on the weekend when salvage is spiked! If you're feeling generous, give your garbage recipes to an alt to post for 1 inf.

Yeah, crazy-out-there-wild scheme, I know. It's so easy to make tons of money without putting much effort in...why everyone [censored] about purple prices is beyond me.
