Ive heard things about a new purchasable expansion known as the super booster 1, all I know is it gives Cyborg looking costume pieces, an aura of some sort, a power (maybe attack) and some new emotes. Its due in a month from now or so.
I cant be sure of anything yet, but can we find out more about this and maybe predict whats included? -
Oh yes, I forgot to put resist melee for Animal Reflexes.

I was trying to stray from the spider soldier like weapon powers like web grenades and venom grenades, I added a few powers from Wolf Spiders, PPD ghosts and Merc Spec-Ops and added a few of my own

I'd like to have the ability to make whatever slot into a uniform or free made, that way Widows can have all helmet options and soldiers can do the same, but with the meaty crab/bane suit too
as for inter weaving costume pieces from both types, I think we should be able to at least use the helmets and chest details -
Animal Instincts, a defense powerset that I'd like to see implemented in the game, This powerset focuses on senses and inherent animal awareness. This is supposed to be best fitted for Animal based characters such at insects, mammals and reptiles, this powerset it based on super reflexes and willpower, ive managed to come up with the following so tell me what you think
ANIMAL INSTINCTS
You have control over your primal animal instincts and the ones of other animals, by focusing your senses and awareness, you are able to manipulate your body into a quick and savage state
1) Awareness (toggle: +Def Ranged, AoE, Fear)
You become more aware of the dargers around you with your incredible hearing, this makes you able to predict the upcoming dangers and overcome them
2) Nurse Wounds (click: +Regen Health, +res Toxic)
You become more intact with your healing instincs and learn how to treat a wound without medical equipment, after which your Immune system will become more resistant to Toxic attacks
3) Enhanced Sight (Toggle: +Acc, +Preception, +ToHit)
You hone your ability to see and sense things around you, your attacks become more precise and accurate while stealthy foes can be spotted due to your incredible smelling ability
4) Incresed Stamina (auto: +regen End, +speed, +Recharge)
You Are naturally faster at regenerating stamina than average men. your speed, endurance regeneration and power recharge have slightly incresed than ussual
5) Animal Reflexes (Toggle: +Res Ranged, hold, sleep, immobilise, confuse, disorient, AoE)
You Become more agile than normal, by doing so you can evade and dodge upcoming attacks at great speed and escape from holds effects
6) Primal Mind (Auto: +Res sleep, fear, confuse, Psi)
You naturally ease your mind into a more primal state, your savage mind will repel you from mind altering effects
7) Howling Call (click: PBAoE foe Fear, -toHit)
You let out a large wolf call that scares the foes around you and they will become less able to assault you from thier fear, stronger foes may be more resistant o these effects
8) Savage Rage (Click: +Acc, +toHit, +Dmg, PBAoE foe fear, taunt)
You let yourself become an inhuman savage beast and stike fear into surrounding foes or intimidate them. you greatly boost your own damage and accuracy for every foe around you, only up to 10 foes can be effected by this power
9) Beastly State (Click: +regen end, +regen health, +recharge, +Def all, +Res All +Speed, +Jump. Afterwards -Regen End, -Recharge)
You unleash your beastly side and become an inhuman killing machine, by doing so you regeneration and recharge rates have peaked and your running speed and jump hight have incresed, afterwards you will be drained of endurance and unable to rest for quite some time. -
Just a thaught after seeing a few of the PPd Swats and Ghosts, I wanted to make a few powersets alike to the ones used and mix in a few of my own, yes yes, this may seem improbable, but I'd like to see...
TACTICAL RIFLE (Controller/Dominator Primary)
1) Snare Wire (Immobilise, Smashing DoT)
2) Gas Capsule (Hold, smashing/toxic DoT)
3) Shock Wires (AoE Immobilise, smashing/energy DoT)
4) Flashbang Grenades (AoE -Acc, -Perception, Confuse)
5) Tear Gas (AoE Hold)
6) Trip Wire (targeted AoE, foe Knockdown)
7) Glue Grenade (AoE Slow, -Recharge)
8) Sleep Grenade (AoE sleep, -def)
9) Spider Bombs (Summon 3 Bombs. powers: Swipe, Shock, Tranq Dart, Glue Grenade, Burst, Detonate. Resistances: Lethal, toxic, psi, fire)
Assault Rifle (dominator secondary version) (Proliferated)
1) Burst
2) Rifle Butt
3) Shotgun
4) Slug
5) Build Up
6) Bayonet
7) M30 Grenade
8) Ignite
9) LMR Rocket
The powersets will include the same weapon customisations as Assault rifles. The secondary powerset is entirely proliferated to be similar to other assault powersets and powers may need to be looked up here, here and here -
Theres a lesson to be learned in this, One you'll learn from me, and one you'll lear from others, the fact that Dual Pistols has been frequently suggested in many ways, and I got Buried alive by 'Old News' spam and it may aswell happen to you, and if you want these spam vultures to jump all over you and picking away at your will to live, then youve made the wrong suggestion
The fact that you use pistols as melee is about as usfull as having an Arachnos soldier 'Just because you like the guns melee powers', Its time to go to the old drawing board and slam your head into it saying 'Why the hell did i put that in'....i know i did with my Duel pistols set
The second is that your defense set is like willpower, only fruity. It seems more like a valentines day temporary power list compiled into a powerset, and the days of love like heroes died after the 80's, its gritty hero time.
I'm sorry to dissapiont you, bit its a definate no from me. Oh, and i'm sorry that ive been harsh doing this, but Its about damn time i was the harsh to someone for a change -
I see that heroes get fires, superdine raids and other things, but villains only get GM calls and rikti invasion calls, so I have a few villain events that could work
Gang War
Two gangs such as hellions and skulls spawn in port oaks or Sharkhead Isle, around 10 minions, 6 lieutenants and 3 bosses, they both have a contact behind them to talk to and you can side with whichever one you want, as soon as you decide, the fight will start and you must win to claim points for a badge. you will not be able to fight any NPC's before the battle.
Arson
Basically like firefighting, only the opposite, an arsonist contact will give you moltov cocktails to throw at windows, there will be a group of RIP's spawning nearby with extinguishers, this event fuctions much the same as Firefighting, the more fires started and Cops defeated, the more points towards a badge
Superdine Smuggle
In this task you will meet a troll contact who gives you some superdine, you must reach the checkpoint and click the glowing object to succeed, but there will be waves of RIP's and troll rogues attacking you, every time you complete this task you will be awarded with badge points. -
I'd just slot fitness with alot of boosts and get combat jumping, this makes you jump and run like genins

I just thaught Psionic wasnt as strong as other powers because lots of bad guys have big psionic resistances, so i was thinking that would even it out. as for wierd guns, i think thats covered by mercs and bots.

Ok, down to the point, agents, a mastermind powerset that focuses on Psi powers and Smashing melee, I have mainly based this on Crey agents and they seem villainous enough to make a team of evil agents. I have tried to put the powerset into as much detail as i can so you will know the statistics, playstyle, theme and powers of these agents, Enjoy!

The manipulation set could be/is new, so i mainly focused on that set and tried to fit in Bullets to the theme of stoping them and attacking them without re-using any powers -

Ive heard some rumours that Dual Pistols are gonna be the next new blast power, so I have tried to create a set for blast which is more predictable, but also a manipulation set
DUAL PISTOLS (ranged powerset)
1) Pistols (already done)
2) Dual Wield (already done)

4) Automatic (Enforcers 'Uzi Burst')
5) Bullet Spray (Enforcers 'Uzi cone blast')
6) Sharpshot (Sniper, extreme lethal damage, knockback)
7) Blast Clip (Enforcers 'Blast Clip')
8) Dual Spray (enforcers 'Dual Uzis')
9) Spinning Burst (PBAoE extreme lethal damage, knockback)

Good idea, the fact that they are only visible kinda annoys me, we should make them like Henchmen, then we can make em talk and use emotes and have a name

You dont get the point do you? Its OPTIONAL if you want the buff, then simply keep it and DONT delete it, the post was for reasons of when you DONT want an armour when your NOT in battle.
Nobody says you HAVE to delete your armours, if you want to be buffed up then its up to you. -
Oh, ive noticed a while back that when Dual Blades and Willpower powersets were suggested, A form of normal Fist fighting combat was coming close to being put in game
I'm not sure if that means it could go through into the game or not, but from that the likeliness of it happening goes up a bit -
I'm getting tired of random people buffing me and armouring be for no reason, so i propose we have an option where you right click on the Buff/armour and have a Delete option.
On top of this, we could have a setting saying "accepting buffs" and "Not accepting buffs" so we can prevent it or go with the buffs by choice.
Its getting quite annoying talking to someone and suddenly your on fire, also, the buff in sonic resonance that repels melee range opponents will make it tricky for Melee AT's to hit opponents up close.
I hope this gets put in game ASAP, I'm sure most of us here will too -

Basically all we need is a new powerset thats a more 'Urban' with Entirely recycled powers and a combo system (to make it not as ordinary) so heres the list:
1) Punch Melee Smashing (Brawl animation)
2) Toe Kick Melee Smashing, knockdown (Kick animation)
3) Body Blow Melee smashing, Disorient (Boxing Animation)
4) Build up +DMG (Build Up Animation)
5) Sweeping Kick PBAoE Smashing, Knockdown (Dragons Tail Animation)
6) Taunt ranged, Taunt (Taunt Animation)
7) Block Melee Smashing, Parry, +RES SMashing, Melee(Council Shield Animation)
8) Uppercut Melee Smashing, Knockup (Knockout Blow Animation)
9) Swing Fist Cone Smashing, Knockback (Crowd Control Animation)
Heres my Version of the Combo System:
Punch + Body Blow + Uppercut = Attack Vitals
Toe Kick + Body Blow + Block = Weaken
Taunt + Build Up + Block = Empower
Body Blow + Swing Fist + Sweeping Kick = Sweep
This Should be available to all Melee AT's, and I'm hoping it gets put in-game next Issue or Issue 14. Cross your fingers!
