Overall, it looks like you are conveying what you are intending to. For critique, my initial thoughts are...

The wall on the left looks meh...unfinished in relation to the detail you have with the ground beneath them or the paved road.

The details/lines in the ground underneath the characters and paved road, should fade away or blur-out the farther back they go. It will also help the viewer's eye transition into the background which has no detail.

Again, a wonderful and generous offer from you Caemgen, thank you very much! A few ideas, mmm...

Alpha - walking towards the viewer either, a) walking out of a decimated structure; b) with a mushroom cloud blooming behind him in the near distance, c) either previous option with him dragging his opposition along the ground as he lumbers toweard the eye of the viewer.

Fenian Girl - Putting on her costume in front of her mirror at home. Perhaps being butt naked holding up a costume option in either hand, mulling over her options for pounding face that evening.

Caemgen - I'd actually like to see him in a "normal-lifestyle" setting or atmosphere. I say make him alone in a library or study, researching his physical condition/appearance, which he has no answers for. I can see him in front of a fireplace sitting in a chair, legs crossed and kicked up on a comfy foot stool. His arm is draped over the arm of the chair with a wine glass dangling from his hand. His other hand supports an open book on his lap called, "Geneological Abberations". Caemgen's head hangs low into his chest reading and his wings hang low to the ground in a very relaxed or weakened posture. Maybe the room is very dark with only a single light source illuminating his immediate person and reading area.
