  2. Stephen Lang played the snivelling, coward Ike Clanton in Tombstone.

Perhaps, but they won't know that.

  5. I personally like it when they hit the ground and their head just pins around and around, all Exorcist-style.

Sweet Zombie Jesus! How far away is the theater?? By the time you get home it'll be time to turn around and go back.

  8. Use the force Luke!

    The wha?
  9. Excellent.

Re-watching the Expendables made me realize my favourite part of the whole movie: Jet Li with guns. It's a refreshing change of pace to watch a 'martial arts guy' just shoot some dudes.

    What to try

Fire/Electric. Burn + Lightning Rod + Special Cool points for not going /SS!

Electric/Stone. +End/+Rech/Damage Aura meets End Heavy/Slow/ST focused. Match made in heaven.

    Inv/DM. You win.

  12. Look at the freaking chin on Batman! When did Superman become Batman!? Other than that one awesome cartoon episode from that series I can't remember where Superbatman kicks the crap outta Bane et al.

Seriously DC, your animated stuff is great, but if those chins get any bigger you're going to have to start widening the doors in Gotham/Metropolis.

Semi-kidding aside, I do look forward to this.
  13. I think Olantern and Chase_Arcanum managed to hit on every important point on the issue. Well done.

Agreed. Marvel and DC own the market as far as recognition and big names, but I find trying to follow their characters to be a time-consuming, expensive chore. You end up spending entirely too much time looking for other titles the characters you're into are appearing in, or else feel like you're missing something. It's frustrating.

Feel free to judge a book by its cover too. With comics, the cover can actually give you a fair impression of the book. Not perfect, but an okay place to start.

    Irredeemable, by Mark Waid
A damn good series, although I feel Incorruptible is the better of the two series. It follows the same events, but from the other side of the coin. Same overriding sense of 'we're boned', but with less moping about it. Also, the characters are more interesting, although after all the stuff that's gone on in Irredeemable, you can't really blame them for being a little burnt out.

  16. Ben Affleck in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Rachel Bilson was also in an episode.
  17. Should make a good break from NaNoWriMo.

This year is awesome for movies.

The cave is at 1211.1 81.2 1414.9 and is the location of the Soother badge (assuming we're thinking of the same cave). Another spot in Nerva is Granny Beldam's island, assuming you don't mind the crazy old lady.
  19. Yeah, we're still trucking on. Wednesdays at 7EST.

Anyone playing a mutant can come join us for that matter. We could use more bodies.
  20. Delete everything. Start over.

Haven't done that since issue 3, but it worked.

There's one of these rooftops in Peregrine Island on a short building just opposite the Portal Corp complex.
