Mentor Project can assist in finding you a short/long term mentor, and the Protector Vigilance channel will keep you updated on server-wide events as well as inform you ofc TFs, trials, PUGs, etc.

The only thing I can't help you with is "friendly villains".

If you're anti-stache and simply can't bring yourself to do it from now until the end of the month, a paltry 13 days, please consider doing it at least on Wednesday November 30, on the last day of this promotion of men's health. I'm sure Raid the Rikti will never be the same.

I've updated the roster for the registered mentors. We're just shy of 160 registrations now. True, some of these players no longer play, but the idea lives on.

We're still active, still recommending that mentors add the "N P C" channel to their tab to keep track of needs on the servers. I know many are using the Help channels on whatever server(s) they are active.

As for the advent of the F2P players and the new challenges this poses, we're adapting, trying to find the best way to reach these players and make ourselves available. If you have suggestions, we're all ears.

Got my poppy this morning.

Stayed with the vets, talking with them a bit at the subway terminal I go through everyday.

Would have been just a great little conversation if some saggypants wearing idiot hadn't screamed out "F* war and F* soldiers". I only had time to encourage him to shut his spoiled cake hole and learn some history, and that honoring the sacrifice of others didn't mean being a warmonger.

Wound up apologizing to the vets for this guy's idiocy and left, embarrassed to have seen this happen.
