I'll whack my name down as "interested", but I'm on holiday for about a week so I'll review after I get back.

it is possible to register an heroic identity, which (to use UK law terminology) would constitute a legal 'person'. Said 'person' can then be sued, tried, arrested, judged, employed, paid, whatever just like a normal person can be, but does not require the disclosure of the actual identity.

I've always assumed that was how it works, considering how much spy-based shennanigans there are, I think even an internal register of real I.D.s would be a bad idea. And that's how every character I've made's done it... -
I fail to see why we shouldn't plot fudge. I know very few villians who actually use their destined one status as IC. I know very few who ICly kowtow to Arachnos like you are forced to do in the story arcs. I don't see why the SoA should be any different.

At that moment, Adam burst in, a wide grin on his face and an insane glimmer in his eye, quite divorced from his usual cold, logical gaze.
"Why, hello! So sorry I'm late, but I really have wonderful, wonderful news. Can you guess?" He grinned.
"Oh, alright..," he said, with hardly a pause "I've finished the prototype. The assasin drone is, effectively, finished. I need to boot an applicable OS onto it and add high grade wiring to the force pads, but..."
He laughed.
"Oh, look at it yourselves... It's quite brilliant, I assure you"
With that, a small, skeletal humanoid robot flickered into view next to Adam, its head a featureless slate letting out an ominous buzz that was only now audible.
"I'm going to get three of these ready for when the Milita arrives," he grinned "Well, what do you think?" -

And it could be worse you could write with a phonetic Glaswegian accent.

OI! I heard that!

That's a ruddy good trick on a text forum!

I always kinda liked random spatterings of native tongue in Loup's vocab. If you think about it, you probably would, especially when you were annoyed or saying things you didn't want people to hear. I've only got two characters who speak different, Shy and Gale. Shy speaks Karralian (Which I have actually written a few words of...) and Gale speaks... I dunno. Arabic probably.
XV probably speaks H4xx0r, but that's not really applicable. I myself speak gibberish, so that'd have been a lot of learning to do, so I advocate <karralian> "text" typing, too.

XV has no minions at the villa, either. He's got them stored in a warehouse, along with his suit. And the blueprints aren't important, anyway, XV's mostly waiting until the island is taken over and he can start building things uninhibited. That said, assasin robot design, intervention by the Priest... Am I seeing an interesting combination or what?
-
"I do, a few for line taps, excelling Vanguard security procedures on this isle, a design for a form of assasin robot, and of course, the design for a concealed base, once we have securely taken this isle," he said with a smile, putting the briefcase on the table. "Of course, if Ms. Barizini's actions are slightly more pressing right now, there is a squad of Battle Drones and a single suit on the island if you, by some extroidinary twist of fate, need help executing that brat."
-
"Sorry to interrupt, but may I sugggest you all redeploy your minions elsewhere? I think there may be some people who are just a little suspicious at the sight of a horde of zombies, vampires and gangbangers outside a "normal" villa..." Adam said, although it were the most obvious thing in the world.
-
XV has blueprints, but it'd be more fun if Alicia went nuts and everyone wailed on her.
-
"I concur. However, Miss Alicia is part of our little club... I'd be more than happy to arrange a temporary time out until you have sufficiently calmed down?" he said, smiling politely with a look in his eye that was anything but.
"Once we are done with the current topic, anyway," he said, switching back to business "I have some designs for tools that could potentially help our conquest of this backwater island." -
Adam checked his tie, and his lightweight replacement limb. It wasn't anything like flesh, but with gloves and a suit, people wouldn't see any metal. Despite his minimalist role so far, Adam was hoping something big would come up, possibly warranting one of his many new creations. He glanced down at the heavy metal briefcase with the more recent files in and smiled. Impressive work, even for himself.
He opened the door himself, and walked in briskly.
"Quite sorry I'm late. I was dressing appropriately." he grimaced, gesturing to the suit and tie, and gelled down hair.
"I hope I haven't missed anything of interest?" -
(Pssst. Pious. I think you did a bit of a post boo-boo...)
Sorry I'm late to all this, I've kinda completely forgotten about it while I was away, I suppose I can just jump right in? -
Okay, seeing as we haven't really done much recently, are people still interested in this, or are we better off letting it die?
-
One thing i've been finding, recently, is that the devs have started filling in those gaps, and it's a bit worrying for people who've already tried to plug them and now have a completely different, yet well established, working for it. What happens then?
Just interested to here the replies, no offence intended. -
Argh, sorry guys, it seems I can't get on ATM. I'll try and get on sometime tonight... So sorry...
-
It's going to be friday, so long as Shadower can make it.
-
Not a problem, RL over RP as they say. We only got up one level, though, and you may wish to get the jetpack as we all did.
-
Gah, sorry about the choppy-changeyness here, this dosn't affect this week (fortunately), but now it's easier if it's on wednesday or sunday evening for me.
Just to reiterate, this dosn't affect this week! This is just a note for our permanent date! -
I think this friday would be the best shot, any objections to that?
-
Time will, with the exception of oddities like the taskforce, always be fairly similar, in this case about 7:30
-
Sorry I haven't posted, things have been a little hectic here at the moment. I was hoping to have arranged a date by now, but that seems rather unlikely. It seems friday's the only option now, unless people are okay with rushing for tonight. The weekend is also manageable for me this weekend, if everyone else can manage, but like I said, it won't always be the case.
-
XV shook his head slowly and deliberately. "No objections. Proceed as planned."
-
A healer probably won't be needed, as we get higher, my buffing will become better, and we'll be killing stuff too quick to need one.
And about a base of operations, definately! Vero owns a run down mechanics in KR that could easily be converted, if we wanted to do that?
I'm thinking this will, initially, be a group of people drawn together by circumstance, who are forced together by the costant machine machinations of the Clockwork. By the end of the taskforce, i'm basically expecting it to be given that they're a team. And i'm more than happy for you to run a plot based on the company.
Anyway, we've still got one slot open, as it stands, so if anyone's interested, we're still open!
And the thread for the IC post bits'll be up when i get home tomorrow, because i'm really tired now and am struggling to type in an efficient manner.
