Heh true say true say - this is just the starting build. Will be bumping it up once I get the feel of it in pvp.]

I wanted to spec my fire/MM blaster's PvE build into a PvP spec. Now I know there are many who will say if you want a pvp blaster roll a Psy/EM or Sonic/EM or Rad/EM. But I have THIS one at 50 - and it's one I like to play. So I was wondering how well they fair in pvp. From what I can see in mids it looks like it can dish out a lot of dmg. So this is the <QUICK> build I put together. Feel free to lul at how poor it probably is. But any advice, powers to drop/add will be appreciated!

First of all welcome to Paragon City!
Virtue and Freedom are amongst the more populated servers US side. However you can find some awesome people on Justice -Or back then when I played there before I transfered to EU when we all had the chance too. And like Aggelakis mentioned, you'd be better off /search and look for people in your level range to join a team.

I've recently got my Dark/Dark/Dark Defender to lvl 50, and after 3 respecs I still can't find the perfect build. I was hoping someone here could give me a bit of help. I'm mainly looking for a good TF/Team build. (Not PvP - If you even can PvP on a Dark/Dark) Inf isn't a problem. Thank you very much in advance!

Having 3 accounts gives me the flexibility to PL toons to try out for pvp, or if their main goal is to assists on TF's at 50. While my lvl 50 count is in the high 20's low 30's, I really see no point of counting it, as either many have been transfered to a server I do not wish to play on, or are occasionaly logged for TF's, or simply deleted if I didn't like them while leveling, or at 50. So all in all, I only mainly play 13 lvl 50s :

This is getting really rather aggrevating not to mention time consuming. It's taking me 3 tries on each character to load on to WW. If i'm lucky and there is not that many people I only crash once. It just takes a good 5 minutes to load, once loaded a lost connection to mapserver message appears. I do not have any lag other than that, unless at peak times.
My computer runs on 4GB of RAM and a decent/good harddrive...
So my question is, what is causing this, it's getting ridiculous -

Teams share drops with each other. I don't care if you do 1 map 1000 times or 1000 maps 1 time each. If you are ON A TEAM with other people, You are teaming.
Power Leveling is when someone gets a bridge and hooks a lowbie to the bridge and proceeds to kick *** and take names so that the lowbie gets exp as fast as possible.
Farming is done alone. Farmers dont share their drops. It is a TOTAL WASTE of TIME for a Farmer to run their Farm map with other HUMANS on that team. It defeats the PURPOSE. The purpose of farming is to get the FARMER all the drops/money. Farmers dont want YOU to get any drops.
But if you go back up there to "Teaming" Teams LOVE it when people get good drops. That is part of TEAMING.
When you are seeking badges, that to me is called Badging. Not farming. You are doing stuff in the game to get your desired badges. So thats badging.
Sometimes TEAMS of people go after the same BADGE... Then you are Teaming and Badging.
While you are badging and teaming, and possibly power leveling a FARMER has completed 25 runs of their farm map... alone... and is completely happy with all their drops.
That is how I see it, thats how everyone I know sees it.
Farming
The act of repeating an action a number of times for the purpose of earning something from the repeated action. In City of Heroes this most often involves resetting a mission a number of times in order to earn something out of the mission multiple times. Things earned vary from experience, to influence/infamy/prestige, to badge credits.
A team can reset the mission 100 times over for simply the influence/prestige gain, and would therefore be classified as farming. -

Sorry but making up different definitions or twisting out of context dev quotes to fit your argument does not make it a reality. Casual is exactly what it sounds like. No hidden meaning, no secret qualifications. It means you play ...well...casually. Generally this falls into the 10 or so hours a week category but that is not even a solid definition. A person who logs on for 8 hours a day and chats with friends while running sporatic missions now and then is...wait for it....a casual player.
Ready for me to blow your mind. I am both a casual gamer and a farmer.

Do you know what the best ways to gather up said influence are (the best ways FOR YOU, taking into account boredom, what your friends are doing, and other such intangibles, not necessarily the fastest, most efficient ways for the hardcore farmer, marketeer or average player)? Do you look over IO sets and choose the ones with the most beneficial bonuses for your build and playstyle? If you do any of those things, sorry, you're not casual. -

Well from what I can see in that build it seems like you are just slotting sometimes for the sake of having a purple set.. For example Soulbound Allegiance is actually broken as it only affects pets at lvl 50, while Imps are summoned at lvl 49. The Apocolypse set is pretty useless if you ask me.. Switch the Positrons blast in your Immob for Graviational Anchor. There is a larger +Recharge set in that, and anyone who knows fire/kins will tell you slotting AoE for damage is useless as you are capped with DMG from your FS. 6 slot Fulcrum Shift, or minimum 5. It's a power you'll need up every group and as a fire/kin you'll be tearing down the group pretty quick, 5/6 Slot Transference with Efficacy Adaptor for the +Recharge. 3 slot Hasten. Switch the Devesation set to Decimation for the +6.25% Recharge.. Basically would you like me to post up a Fire/Kin/Fire all round Build?

Who ever said anything about teaming? And tbh are you speaking from experience? Do you/Have you played the EU servers at all.. Specifically Defiant? I'm not complaining here as I have my 3 account's and I play on both but all i'm saying is sometimes it just bothers you knowing your playing on a server with a small population when you can be playing on a server with a much larger population. Like I said in my previous post some people prefer the small/family feel to Defiant. Many also don't.
