Yo yo, peoples, let's not start that feud again... that would be bad.
-
Some of you might know Martheus as one of the creative talents behind Jetta:Tales of the Toshigawa.
He also does commissions from time to time.
Here's his take on Mistress Ohm and her daughter, the martial artist Shi-Ran. -
Oh.
My.
GAWD.
*falls in total lust for this fine creature* -
It's probably both, now. I unlocked it with Hess.
-
Yanno what?
As much as I'd LOVE to see an 'art collector' section... maybe it'd be better if our interviews focused on our fave artists, or any good new artists that maybe haven't seen much exposure.
I think it's good that an art collector is DOING the feature though. -
WOW.
She's good.
Might have to put her on the watch list. -
BWAHAHAHA!
Unfortunately, I only had one character with naming difficulties...
and she wasn't on Virtue.
... although having her do the "SOOOOOULLLLL TRAINNNNNN!!" intro and getting stuck with the name would be hilarious. -
You're not the only one.
I use the Prestige Power Slide with my Assault Rifle/Kin corruptor, because she rides a bike. A hot pink Hayabusa, to be exact. So the pink trail behind her is the speed blur from the bike. I also have her first costume set as all leathers plus a racer-style helmet. She'll change out of it when indoors (and not use the PPS power).
Likewise, my Dark/Dark Corruptor (Baroness Samedi) is a voodoo priestess. Both Dark Blast and Dark Miasma are Rp'd as 'death effects' rather than physical forces.
There's also characters that RP the Kinetics powerset as Time Control (Hour Woman), and the Thermal Radiation powerset as nanotech. Deathspider RP's the acc debuff of Dark Melee as anxiety pheromones.
So as far as RP goes, as long as it's semi-plausable, go for it. -
Whoa. Those are intense.
That almost reminds me of the guy who used to do the Pink Floyd/Roger Waters album artwork. I think he also did some sketches and such for Hunter S. Thompson. Can't recall his name, but his images were off the chain. Yours are cleaner, but still have that same flavor. -

"Hello? Is Mr. Jooggertha there?"
"WHAT?!"
"Hello, my name is Fred Murphy and I'm with AT&T. Would you like to switch to our service?"
"I ALREADY HAVE AT&T"
"Well, you know.. Its good you should have some more AT&T".
"BAH!!"
I imagine Juggertha talking very loud and capslockish.

I was going to say none of our agents would be that obtuse... but then I remembered two phrases:

Star, sweetie... your link is broken. You have gravers DA site linked in as a subdirectory of the forums. That'll never work, not until NCSoft hires him anyway.
try this:

This is artwork of one of my friend's characters - he's not usually one to read the forums, and is going through a rough patch right now, BUT...I think the artwork will cheer him up considerably.
Lady Persephone by Russ Platt (may contain NSFW)
You know you've found a good RP partner when they take one of the Greek legends, the Goddess Persephone, weave a story around her that makes her presence in 'modern day' Paragon make 'sense'... and then springboard off of YOUR character's story without losing a beat. From a chance pick-up-group, to regular teaming together, to OOC friendship, to acute cases of alt-itis... the guy's like a brother to me now, a year and a half later.
And I still think his main is sexy as hell. -
Congratz!!!
Someone on a 'farming team' I was on hit 50 at around 3am...
Soon afterward, my Kinfender tagged... 43. -

I guess I must've missed something. I thought he just said he decided not to buy so much art from now on.
I'm honestly sorry if I inadvertantly pushed one of your hot-topic buttons; I certainly didn't mean to, and I apologize.

I'd probably allow for the fact that someone's significant other might be privvy to a subtext that isn't evident in the OP. That said, it does seem a little...well...much...considering the topic unless he's planning to do great, grand, and noble things with the money he'll be saving. And that could be the case...since I believe the amount he spent on art was quite significant.

As much as it would be totally cool for TA to do that... he's living in California now.
Trust me, every CENT he has will be put to use paying the bills. Cali's beautiful, but it will suck you dry if you aren't careful.
And yes, I know this from personal experience. -

Well Sass probably added up how much money he spent on art and gave him a stern talking to! :P

It's. Always. A. Woman.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow!
How insulting that you could think someone of TA's calibre, personality and integrity could be so easily manipulated and coerced.
Doesn't say much for your opinion of the man.
I understand that the joke is almost funny, but not ....... as it happens.
Turns out the 21st century is still a hot bed of sexism and immaturity hidden poorly in a convenient haven known as the internet.

Sass... uh... I wasn't TRYING to be sexist. This is what my wife does when I get waay too caught up in something and end up spending more than I should. It's not that it's "always a woman" but that SOMEBODY (usually one's partner) notices the trend and points it out, in a very no-nonsense reality check manner.
This is one of those "you're in a relationship, so this WILL happen" type of things. As such, we're joking in a "ha ha only serious" kind of way, OK?
And no I wasn't saying you'd coerce your man, or intimidate him into giving up his passion. I think we all know TA better than that. And most of us should know YOU better than that too.
... right?
*hugs* -
