I have a similar build but I want to fit in Stealth...I know I cant drop Fitness so what do I drop to fit in stealth?

Leaping (CJ and SJ)
Speed (Hasten and SS)
Leadership (Assault and Tactics)

Just inspected Sonic blast numbers and Mind Control numbers and have come to the conclusion that I'm making a mind dom. Probably going to use the /elec secondary for a snipe and buildup. Now all I need to do is think up a name and he'll be ready for i15

I know mind/elec wont fit the theme I had in mind, but oh well, those numbers are too good to resist.

Alright which plays more like a son/em blaster, Corr or Dom?

I'm really torn on this...Son/Cold or Son/Therm look really good but their playstyle doesn't seem to fit the style of a blaster, seems like a Mind/Elec would play more like a blaster because of the BU Dom Lev Mes combo rather than the debuff debuff shriek scream shout combo or a Son/Therm. What is the best secondary for Mind? Still elec or is it energy?

How does Sonic/Cold play?

Because therm's debuffs take over 2 minutes to recharge, and rad has loltoggles.

IDK, I might make a Dom too. :\ I think I'm gonna wait it out abit to see if the Dom numbers get fixed...I mean changed.

Actually you sound like you'd be better off playing a claws or spines stalker. They've got a ranged attack.

As a dominator or corrupter you're more than likely just going to get smacked down unless you're in a team. As a stalker you've got hide and a defensive secondary.

I've played a squishy in pvp, and I've played a stalker. Trust me, I prefer the squishy .

Anyways, after I just loaded up test and saw the numbers, I will admit I was surprised. If I do go the Dom route, it will be mind/elec, and if I roll a corr it will be Sonic/Something. I didn't choose Sonic because of the "big numbers", I just like Sonic.

Is Sonic a bad secondary for a corruptor? Because Sonic Siphon is looking pretty useful for taking down targets...

I've been thinkin...mind/elec looks really sexy but so does Sonic/therm...and hell I've even thought about making a sonic/sonic just for stacking massive -res on targets on RV teams/arena teams. I am thinking a corruptor ATM because of sonic blast theme...but I'm gonna wait until I can find some i15 pvpmode Dom numbers to see how kickass they are.

how do you use arena chat or join it or w/e I forgot how.

I used to do that too until I saw ParagonWiki and saw that 30-34 has alot more junk than 35-39, with all the same good recipes like Numina, miracle, LOTG, etc.

[/ QUOTE ]I am gonna say no because defense is pretty much worthless unless your are SR. You just dont get any meaningful defense debuff resistance with WP. Its better to focus on hitpoints/smash/lethal resistance/regen rate than it is to focus on defense. Only times I seen defense matter for non-SR is when you have stupidly high amounts like 80% to all positions then if they do debuff you down your still at or above the softcap. This is where I say having VEATs on your team is really great because they can get you there.

I tried to make a HP build, and I only got around 150-200 more hp. That aint worth it IMO. I tried making a regen build, and I got around 600 regen. I tried making a Def build, and I got 44 defense to S/L. Seemed to me like the only reasonable way to go was defense, even if I had to suffer the debuffs. And the highest I can get is 44, Unless I get the PVP IO unique, which I wont. I suppose i can always bring /colds and veats on my ITF's when I do them on my Scrapper to get those numbers up in the 80's. Oh and I can tell you another thing, when you're fighting things that dont debuff defense, even with only 28 defense I was unkillable, either on AV runs or on the boss farm i did where I would herd 3 mobs together and melt them.

Alright, so I've been pvping with my blaster ever since he hit level 30, and by far he is the FUNNEST pvp toon I've played yet. I wanted a VILLAIN pvp toon, so naturally I rolled a stalker. However, stalking really aint my gig. I hate having to give up kills because they got out of melee range or they have quicksand/arctic air/etc. I dont like it at all. Because I know if I was on my blaster I could just use any ranged attack and get the kill.

Now I am looking for a pvp toon that plays like my sonic/em blaster, and I'm having difficulties deciding what to pick. I know it will be a sonic corruptor, or some kind of Dom. And with the Dom buffs, it looks like Dom's will be doing more damage, get buildup, and have some mez. On the other hand, Corrs only get aim, they get SCOURGE, and they have a secondary that can assist them by buff/debuffing.

What will be best for me? Looks like Doms will do more overall damage, while Corrs will pull ahead near the end of fights with Scourge. What secondary is best for Corrs, and what is good for Doms? Looks to me like /elec will be good with Doms and I have no idea what secondary to choose for a Dom....

What would you reccomend will play like my Sonic/EM blaster, the Dom or the Sonic Corr? And what secondary/primary should I have?

I would keep the earth/elec, honestly. If you REALLY wanna reroll I would go mind/elec or ice/elec, mind for good damage and ice for Arctic Air messing up melee toons.
